9. The Noble Party

It's been a week since father announced us about our engagement. This week went just like always for me. But it was different for Rias. She looked down. But seems like she is thinking about something. I don't know what is she thinking about.

Today there is a noble gathering in the capital for high class nobles. Seriously saying I don't like these parties. Some people are so arrogant that it pisses me off. Say that there family has this has that blah blah blah... I just want to ask them 'Your family has it. But what do you have?' I can't understand their way of thinking.

I am dressed up for the party. About the dress all I can say that it screams out 'nobility'. I sighed and walk towards the gate. There is a car waiting for us to take us to the party. This party was arranged by the Bael family. There I saw Rias in a striking red dress which complement her hair." You look beautiful sister." Heaing that she look at me. " You too brother." " Thanks" Then we get into the car and the car starts moving.

Arriving at the party I saw several people I know and some new people. Me and Rias starts walking towards the people we know leaving our parents behind. We went to Sona Sitri from the Sitri family and Seekvaira Agares from the agares family. We are childhood friends. There is also our cousin Sairaorg Bael with them." Hey there Sona, Seekvaira, brother Sairaorg how do you do?" I greeted them.

"Hey there brother, we are fine right" Sairaorg replies. " Yes, we are." Both Sona and Seekvaira reply together. After that girls starts to talk with each other. Me and Sairaorg talk with each other.

"So how is it going, brother?" I asked. "Nothing important and significant." "How is aunt?" Hearing me Sairaorg looked sad. After all her mother is in coma and nobody knows when will she wake up." Same as always. Still in coma. I sometimes go there to talk with her." Saying so he sighed. "Be strong brother. I hope she wakes up soon." I said. "Me too" he replied.

"Enough about that, I heard tjat you got a fiancée. Tell me who is she?" He asked looking at me while grinning. "You look like an idiot right now. Well her name is Latia Astaroth from the Astaroth branch family. She is a pure blooded devil. That's all I know about it. I haven't met with her before actually. I heard that she will be here in the party." I said.

"Oh, is that so. What about you sister." He asked. " She is engaged with Riser Phenex from the Phenex family. Third son of the family. You know her right." I said.

"You're right. I know that bastard. I don't like him. Like not at all. Just his face is enough to piss me off." I laughed hearing that. He stared laughing too.

"Hey there, Rias. How are you my fiancée?" A sudden voice came form near. Now speak of the devil. Well he is a devil. Whatever. Rias looked at him with disgust. "I don't like you. Go away. I won't marry you." Rias shouted at him. "Don't be like that. Both of our family agreed in this engagement. You can't just say no. You are my future wife." Riser said arrogantly.

"I won't be marrying you. I will do everything I can to break my marriage with you." Rias said looking angry. "I like it when you fight it so hard. I will make you mine hahaha." He went away while laughing.

"I really don't like him." I said. "Me neither." Sona said suddenly. She came to us when Riser came.

Ash: "So how is your fiancé, Sona?"

Sona: "Well, he is not bad but I don't want to marry him."

Ash: "So what do you want to do? Remenber whatever you do I will be there with you, okay."

Sona: "Thanks, Ash."

After that she went to Rias to pacify her. Sairaorg listened to us. "So you don't have any arranged partner yet." "Nah. I don't and I am happy about it. I also seek freedom myself let you know. And I also want to prove myself worthy." Sairaorg snorted.

"Yeah, good luck." I said. Nothing I can do about him.

"Excuse me. Are you Ash Gremory-sama?"

Damn who called me with honorifics like that. Doesn't he know I don't like it.
