There's a new cook in town.
The book hovered in front of him, slowly spinning like some kind of artifact in an RPG, waiting for him to pick it up.
But Konrad wasn't sure about doing that. Something was telling him that...he didn't need to...
Then with a simple thought from him, the book moved closer and opened, making Konrad grin. What was surprising though, was the fact that the book was not empty like it was in the begining. The pages contained recipes of many different dishes, that were somehow familiar to him.
It took him three hours to finally understand what was in front of him. It was a soul bonded cooking book! An actual soul bonded artifact!
But it was a cooking book... Konrad wasn't sure if that was a good thing or a bad thing but nevertheless, he was now bonded with a cooking book....
It turns out that every recipe of every dish that ever landed in his mouth, had been recorded and improved in the book, with any imperfections removed so that it was the best dish, that could be formed from Konrad's limited cooking knowledge.
"I guess I can be a cook now. Hehe." Konrad laughed.
There was an interesting thing about the book, that became apparent to him instantly. He could recall all and every single recipe in the book clearly as if it was in front of him. It was quiet an interesting experience and he was soo disappointed that it wasn't a Magic Grimoire instead. If he could recall the Formations the same way he could recall cooking recipes, his magic studies would probably jump by a few years, and his strength would increase tremendously.
But that was not the case, so he had to enjoy what he had. There didn't seem to be any way for him to recreate the Grimoire and the Observe wasn't helpful in that endeavor either, so in the end Konrad just sighed and decided to wait before he knew more about soul magic, and soul bonded artifact.
With a thought, the book disappeared, but Konrad knew that he could call it out whenever he wanted.
"At least it's not in any way harmful. I might even serve mom and Sebastian a dish or two every now and then." He thought with a smile.
With his mind occupied with different recipes that he could serve his family, his movement became purely automatic, as yet another orb has been removed from the prize hole.
"Huh? Oh right, another Health Option." He muttered as his eyes fell onto the black Orb.
He quickly stored it and moved to the next prize.
A golden orb landed in his hand and his eyes opened in surprise.
"Huh! It was so long since the last time I saw you..." He said.

It was the same skill that allowed him to learn magic! The same skill that brought him so much excitement and fun!
He grinned and put the orb into his inventory. He will make sure to find a good use for it later.
The next two orbs were actually the same. Both giving him +1 Mana capacity. It wasn't much anymore, so Konrad decided not to use them and instead put them into his inventory. He would most likely study them later since he never had a chance to do so.
His hand was about to grab the next prize when he stopped, realizing that what lied in the prize hole was a rainbow coloured Orb! With a growing excitement his hand snatched the prize and he instantly started to read the words that appeared.

Konrad was floored. A familiar? He could have a familiar?! It was so cool! He just couldn't wait to open that reward and see his new pet but regretfully he couldn't do that here. What if it was to big to get out? Or if it was a water creature and he had no water to put it into. It was a 'Random' draw after all.
Using a lot of his will, Konrad reigned in his excitement and put it with the other unopened prizes.
"I'll get you later. You can be sure of it. He said and went back to the Lottery.
"Alright. Eight more to go!" Konrad exclaimed and his hand quickly snatched the next orbs one after the other.

Seven more rewards were opened by Konrad, and he wasn't disappointed. Where it was about the materials and equipment, Konrad simply left them unopened to save space. As for the stat increase he simply swallowed it and his agility actually improved even further, cementing his place as his stronger statistic. He could practically feel the change when it became slightly easier for him to move, and his, originally quiet nimble body, became even more elastic and fast than it was before.
While still feeling the exhilarating feeling of his body becoming stronger, Konrad grabbed the last reward and squealed like a little girl because it was another Legendary reward!

It wasn't something he expected to get in a legendary prize, but he was still quiet excited.
He couldn't wait to open it, and he didn't expect to have transport problems like with the familiar, so he simply opened it right here, after he made sure to check the description to be sure.
It was supposed to give him a random set of Treasure hunting equipment with a high chance of magical items being among the stuff.
There was a flash of light and then a bunch of things appeared in front of him. But he already knew that he hit a Jackpot once again,
because he felt magic, coming from at least one of them!
