Wiggly!
Konrad felt his blood being sucked straight from the wound. Not a drop was wasted as the process continued. The Nucleus was starting to vibrate and Konrad could see the light in the middle slowly growing stronger the more Mana he provided.
His observe skill continued to show him how much Mana, the little Orb, possessed. It was double the amount of his own, but he made sure to input the Mana very slowly, so that his Mana regeneration could catch up. Konrad could feel the ease with which his Mana flowed, which could be attributed to the Lesser Mana Affinity skill, he got from the lottery.
He even used the lesser Mana potions that he previously considered useless, so that he could quicker provide enough Mana for the nucleus to fill completely. He wanted his familiar to have a safe birth after all!
Suddenly the blood stopped being absorbed by the nucleus, but Konrad continued supplying it. He observed that even though it wasn't absorbed, the blood was stuck to the orb like by a magnet, slowly gathering around the Orb like the flesh of a fruit around a seed.
It was only when he finally supplied around two litters of blood and got dizzy that he decided to stop. That's because the Nucleus was now completely covered in a crimson liquid the size of a handball ball, and his blood was not absorbed into the rest anymore. It was also two kilograms heavier than before! Konrad snickered and said. "Blood from my blood." in a fake serious voice.
Suddenly, a shudder came over the To Be Slime and ripples appeared on its watery surface. Then the crimson color started to condense and move towards the nucleus in the center as if it was sucked out, leaving only a clear liquid that slowly began to change colour. The slime slowly but surely recolored into light blue.
Konrad now held it in both hands, not because he was getting exhausted but because it was more convenient.
Since he began training his body with the help of his Apprentice Tome Of Swords And Shields, holding an object that didn't even reach three Kilograms with one hand in the air wasn't really a problem anymore. Of course, he could hold things like this before, but with his stats and with the help of the Healing Potion, holding even five kilograms in similar way for twenty minutes wouldn't be a problem. Konrad was quiet content with his newfound strength.
His eyes were now locked with the little blue slime, waiting for anything to happen. He could feel the slimy body of his supposed familiar and had to admit that it was weird. It wasn't at all sticky. The surface was surprisingly resilient and elastic. It was a bit like a balloon filled with slime, but still a bit different because the surface wasn't the final point that kept the Slime together.
He would have pondered longer about the mystery of Slime physiology, were it not for the fact that the little bigger tried to climb up his left hand.
Personally, Konrad thought that it was adorable! People might say that slimes are the weakest monsters or something like that, but even if his familiar had no fighting capabilities, It was still the cutest thing ever! He might be biased but who can judge him?
Konrad grinned and moved The slime closer to his chest. The little thing looked a bit confused but in the end it seemed to snuggle into his chest happily as if it recognized its Daddy.
He patted his slime happily. Somehow he could feel the happiness emanating from the slime and assumed it was the spiritual connection mentioned in the description. That made him remember that he should use observe on it now.
"Observe!"

Konrad Was grinning madly. This cutie wasn't only adorable but also strong and smart! Well... maybe not yet strong...but it could be!
Konrad sat down and placed it on his lap while slowly stroking it's Jelly blue body. The little slime shuddered happily and moved as if longing for Konrad's touch.
"So...how should I call you?" Konrad muttered. Many different names went through his head while he looked for a suitable one. He ended up with three choices. It was Octo, Miri, and Tavy. He threw away Octo because it felt somehow bad to call a slime after an octopus. Miri was quiet nice but somehow made him categorize the slime as a female when he still had no idea if it even had one.
So he finally came to a decision.
"Your name will be Tavy!" He proclaimed happily and The little slime shuddered in a way as if it approved of the name. Konrad smiled.
"You like it? That's good, I was worried you wouldn't." He said and then with curiosity called out Observe.

"Haha, you really like it! I'm glad!" Konrad said and hugged the little slime affectionately. It clinged to him while flattening all over his chest, as if it also wanted to hug Konrad back. When they separated Konrad went back to stroking it. He began thinking about training, but this time, he thought how to train little Tavy. Then his eyes lit up with an idea.
"Let's have some fun Tavy! Shall we?" He said with an unhidden excitement.
