Bloodline awakening. part 3

Konrad was lying on a bunch of pillows he brought into the Lottery space, with Octavia lying beside him.

After she lost consciousness, Konrad continued to stroke her, but after some time he decided to put himself in a bit more comfortable position.

Putting up an impromptu bedding was easy enough. With his comfortability now assured, Konrad placed Tavy on a pillow beside him and before he realized, he dozed off to sleep as well...

It was a few hours later when Octavia began to stir, causing Konrad to wake up and focus on his familiar.

Her slime was already almost normal. The previous exchange of slime inside her nucleus was already receding and her body started to recover its original Lapis blue colour. But differently from before, her body was now sparkling in the ever present light of the Lottery Space, as if her slime consisted of blue crystal dust.

She began to slowly stir and shake. It was that sudden movement that awoke Konrad.

He could feel her consciousness slowly returning, so he sat up and waited for her to return to him.

*..nnnaa...D-Daddy?...What..uhhh, What's going on?..* She muttered half asleep when she saw Konrad staring at her.

"Hey You! You're finally awake!"He said trying to suppress a snicker... "I mean..How do you feel tavy? You were out of it for the last uhhh... five hours!"

*Huh?...Oh right i remember now...i feel...good? Yeah...I feel very good Daddy!* Said the little slime in an excited voice.

Konrad smiled carringly.

"That's very good Octavia. I was so worried about you...Now...Do you want to know what changed?" He asked in an excited voice, very much looking forward to what changed with his familiar.

*Yes Daddy! I want to see how strong i am now! I can feel that I'm stronger but I don't know much more than you...* She said, sharing the excitement of Her Daddy...

"Haha, alright then! Observe." He said and once again the status window appeared in front of him.

| Description: Octavia is a Slime familiar of Konrad Caster.

As a slime, It is a Creature born from the accumulation of Mana, often categorized as a monster species. It's usually considered the weakest of the magical species, but the presence of two powerful bloodlines and her birth through strong blood and magic, gives Octavia a very high potential and improved intelligence from a young age.

While performing her blood awakening, Octavia came in contact with a Heavily regenerative concoction, leading to a positive mutation, that further increased her strength.

Slimes are considered the cleaners of the environment. Thanks to their controllably corrosive bodies, they can digest most existing substances and are often attracted by garbage due to its varied, biological composition.

Octavia is currently very excited.

"500mp!?! And... Damn! Tavy this is crazy!" Konrad explained to his familiar what he just read with unspoken amazement...

...

"And this Mutation! I'm really curious what it does... I'd doesn't appear to be a normal Regeneration." He spoke out his thoughts.

*I'm not sure either...But this is amazing Daddy! look! i can change my shape much easier than before!* Tavy said and suddenly a bunch of slime tentacles grew out of her body. She then proceeded with changing her body into multiple shapes spanning from a cube to a wiggly cat...

"Wow this is great Tavy! Actually... It might be much easier for you to move around in this cat form, so you should train with it sometime." Konrad proposed his sudden idea.

*That's a great idea Daddy! I'll do that!*

In the end, the duo continued their unexpected research for the next two days, trying to understand the changes that happened to Octavia.

What they understood was even more amazing than Konrad ever expected.

The sudden increase in her magic capacity was an obvious advantage of her awakening. Her Basic Transformation skill was directly connected with her Body Control statistics and the sudden increase of said stat, greatly improved her ability to shape and control her slime.

There was no apparent changes to the Corrosiveness Control skill, but the Assimilation skill finally became awakened.

That brought with itself a surprising discovery.

Tavy could absorb magical metals!

Well...she could do that before but now there was no need for her to charge the metal with Mana. an interesting thing happened though when she actually did that. Upon absorbing another 50g of Orichalcum without charging it, the status displayed a mysterious 100/50g... That led them to another discovery!

Octavia could infuse the magical metals into her body, greatly strengthening it! It wasn't apparent before but upon comparing her body infused with 50 and then with a 100g of Orichalcum, it was clearly much harder and more durable the more metal she infused while her body still maintained her usual plasticity. It was honestly very weird but also very amazing. Octavia could literally change her body into liquid metal that she could freely control! The only limit was the amount of metal she possessed and the level of control she could exert!

While they were figuring that out, another thing became apparent. Octavia could

expel the metal without much problem and in any shape she wanted...Any Shape!!!

Konrad was already finding infinite uses of that ability but another interesting thing happened when Octavia tried to expel more than 50g of The Orichalcum. When the count became 49/50g It became very hard for her to expell it with the difficulty rising exponentially the more she expelled. But as this was happening she suddenly stopped and her words shocked Konrad.

*I can feel my nutrients And Mana rapidly being used Daddy...*

He Didn't even had time to ask her what she meant because the counter that just a second ago showed 49/50g suddenly rised to 50/50!

The realization struck him. "Elemental Regeneration!"

His eyes were very painful from the amount of shocks he sustained that day...

Octavia could regenerate the Magical Metals using her own Mana and stored nutrients! It was like an infinite source of materials!

Konrad was giddy with the prospect while Octavia was very happy to be of help to his Daddy. 'Even though it wasn't easy for her to produce the metal, she would work hard for her Daddy!'

They couldn't figure out the Royal Slime skill nor the Alloy Manipulation, but Konrad was sure that they would do that one day. Octavia wanted to complain and continue experimenting, but surprisingly Konrad refused it saying...

"Tavy, It's true that between the two of us, i am the experiment fanatic, but You are first and foremost my dear and beloved companion, and not an experimental subject. Seeing you in pain was really hard for me and i don't want to push you more when there is no real need for that. Also, In our excitement, we already spent three days figuring out what are the changes about you, and I have completely forgotten about my own training! It won't be five months before I catch up to your Mana capacity but a year, if i continue on slacking of like this..."

With that said, Konrad caressed the not quiet yet calmed Slime, and continued.

"There's one thing I learned during my long researches. You need to take a break every now and then, or you wouldn't be able to think or function as good as you want to. There's no point overworking yourself...And i have just the thing to let us relax!" He proclaimed before a bucket of red liquid appeared in his hand.

*Is that...?!*

"Yep! Tavy! Vere gonna draw us some lottery Orbs today!"

//AN - God this chapter was Awful. Not because I didn't enjoy writing it, but because there was so much stuff to say that I didn't know how to put it all together. In the end it turned out how it did and i hope you could understand Octavia's new abilities. Even though the chapter might be a little confusing even to me hehe...
