Long awaited time skip!
Letting a Magical Animal into the wild was not the outcome Konrad hoped to achieve, but as it already happened, he couldn't do anything about it.
He also had no way of tracking the Cat so the only thing he hoped for, was that it wouldn't cause any collateral damage in the living areas.
As the experiment regarding the former monster was now officially closed, Konrad could focus more on his and Octavia's training and all the other plans.
Octavia was slowly improving her abilities in shaping the metals that she could produce, and her stock of magical and precious metals was slowly rising. Konrad wouldn't be surprised if she amassed a kilogram of gold in a month or two! It was a very hard metal to reproduce due to its density but it wasn't as hard as the magical ones, with The Adamantite being the hardest to increase. She decided to first assimilate all the metal that Konrad had provided her, because the more Capacity she had, the more metal she could produce and it was much easier for her to expel it with larger capacity already in place.
While she was still working on the Assimilation and improving her control, Konrad had to find his own new project to focus on.
The Compass Of Random Journey didn't give him any more 'Side Quests' and he already Made the flying magic... He needed to have another good idea soon because training his Magic continuously can only entertain him for so long...
Finally, after long consideration, Konrad came up with a simple idea of increasing his range of utilitarian spells. Something like Speed Boost or Wind Step would be easy to achieve with Wind Magic for example. Then to figure out ways of restraining an enemy. If he had a spell to restrain someone's movement, the cat would not run away. He also had to think more about the usage of magic that affected the Mana itself, like the Magicless Prison he created to restrain the former Monster Cat. If he could shape Mana like he could shape other elements, couldn't he make stuff like spells formed completely from magical energy?
The more he thought, the more ideas he had and he could already see that he will be busy for a very long time...

// Four Months Later//
It was finally here! The day of the School certificate awarding ceremony aka the last day of school!
Every exam was already behind him, everything was passed with distinction and he could now go and work In IT if he ever wanted to! Not like he would ever do so, with his magic and Octavia's ability to literally change trash into gold, but still the fact stands that his education was above average and it made him feel somewhat better about himself.
This day marked the start of his newfound freedom and opened a new chapter of his life. Octavia's hard work finally paid off with her abilities letting her create simple jewelery that he could seel...somewhere...
She could also theoretically make magic formations using the magical metals, but they would not be yet as small as the Amulet Of Phobos.
The problem that appeared though, was that the duo actually didn't knew how to use the metal in the formations!...
They spent an entire month experimenting with different combinations, be it the replacement of blood with a magical metal that worked pretty good, or replacing the entire formation with the use of one of the magical metals that worked even better but was much more expensive. They tried using one metal as the formation matrix and another to fill the runic formation, successfully creating the strongest magical formation from the three, but in the end, they had to find the right combination.
All in all, Orichalcum was a perfect Matrix metal while Mithrill worked good as the formation conductor.
On the other hand, Adamantite was the best in every category but it was also the strongest metal of the two which made it the best for making weapons and armor.
The experiments finally concluded, making the combination of Mithrill and Adamantite the best of all they had tested. But it had two variants...
If he wanted to make something like a sword or an armor, an Adamantite Sword with a Mithrill based formation would give the best combination. The blade would be incredibly sharp and light while being practically unbreakable and any magic imbued into the blade would be extremely strong.
But if he was to make a magical tool, where the effectiveness of magic was the most important, a Mithrill matrix and an Adamantite formation would give the greatest Power Boost and Efficiency.
Octavia was already capable of shaping the metal in her body enough to make simple formations slightly smaller than the smallest ones he could make using his own blood. That of course costed a lot of metal though, so they still needed her to improve before she could make something like The Amulet Of Phobos.
But even if she couldn't do that yet, the four months of hard work bore fruits in a considerable increase in his familiar's strength.

| Description: Octavia is a Slime familiar of Konrad Caster.
As a slime, It is a Creature born from the accumulation of Mana, often categorized as a monster species. It's usually considered the weakest of the magical species, but the presence of two powerful bloodlines and her birth through strong blood and magic, gives Octavia a very high potential and improved intelligence from a young age.
While performing her blood awakening, Octavia came in contact with a heavily regenerative concoction, leading to a positive mutation, that further increased her strength.
Slimes are considered the cleaners of the environment. Thanks to their controllably corrosive bodies, they can digest most existing substances and are often attracted by garbage due to its varied, biological composition.
Through trial and training, Octavia reached the Strength of an S rank. The Assimilation of a considerable amount of powerful materials and her greatly improved movement ability allows Octavia to resist practically all the physical attacks while also having a great magical resistance. Using the materials as a weapon gives her also a strong fighting force.

Yes...Octavia became an S rank monster upon her magic capacity reaching over four digits and her Adamantite Assimilation reaching 10 kilograms.
Only after reading through her description did Konrad realize that she might be even stronger than him in a direct combat! With her body infused with the Magical Metals that she could additionally strengthen using her considerable Mana, Octavia is practically invulnerable to attacks, while using something like a sharp, adamantite infused tentacle, she could easily cut trees and even rocks in half if she swung her limb fast enough. And boy could she move fast now....When Konrad offered a Cuddle Day as a reward for her hard work, she was at him in a flash and didn't leave his lap until the next morning...
That was mostly everything that changed with Octavia. Her experiments with casting magic would be covered at a later day. Not like she actually made any progress though... For some reason, she could not cast magic outside of her body. It was a surprising discovery, and yet another topic for further experimentation...
Konrad of course didn't slack off in those four months that preceded the End of School. He also greatly improved just like Octavia. You just needed to look at his status to understand how much...

His Capacity almost doubled from the one he had before! It would have probably been even more, but with his Mana Expulsion exercise becoming harder and harder, It was also becoming harder to improve it! He Needed to find a way to improve the efficiency before it becomes completely useless.
His stats also improved by a lot, His strength actually passing the other three because it was the simplest to improve. He simply needed to strain himself and lift bigger and bigger weights and his Status Deterioration Block Skill did all the work. Somehow it felt as if his body became like an actual game character. It could only become stronger and any training could only improve his growth... His body was also staying in the perfect teenage swimmer shape... Somehow, he started to suspect that all the longevity buffs and potion effects, actually made his growth slow down or even made him look younger despite his new muscles. He couldn't disagree though, that he looked good!
On another topic. Konrad greatly improved his Magic repertoire!
Where in the beginning, there were mostly a bunch of Elemental Spells with a few unique ones. Now, his elemental magic was much more advanced!
He finally figured out how to make water magic completely work on magic, and effectively create water from thin air.
At first he tried to achieve an actual Creation Magic but even though he partially succeeded, the amount of water was minuscule in comparison to the enormous Magic consumption, and his head hurt after only creating a single drop... It also wasn't very fast so it couldn't help him in his Capacity training so that's a shame... And the worst part? It worked only when he casted the spell personally, and not even a Magical formation made using Mithrill managed to do anything...True that it was a very small formation with little power but still...
So instead of playing God, Konrad simply summoned the water particles into one place with a different concept.
Rearranging particles of oxygen and hydrogen was possible but also very expensive so he had to use the water that was there but was invisible like steam and water in the ground.
In the end Konrad made three different types of water creation magic that completely differed in principle and Mana cost.
His earth magic also received a boost but it didn't get any earth summoning technique. The Magic was simply controlling what was already there as the earth was everywhere around you usually.
The same could be said for other elements other than darkness of course. He became more adept at manipulating all of them and he believed that it wasn't impossible for him to mess with a some of those spells while in the middle of a battle. Things like changing shapes or power of the projectiles should be easy enough.
His Mind magic also evolved into something that he liked to call Jedi mind tricks...
Casting confusion, sleep, or compulsion to ignore stuff, were only a few things he could do, but he didn't like to use them...It was against his morals to mess with people's heads so he would usually do that only as a last resort.
Another fun thing. Konrad could cast Teleportation Magic!
Of course he needed to check his handwritten Grimoire to see the specifically prepared coordinates, but he could do that!
Regretfully, he couldn't take anything with him as of yet, which became apparent when he appeared in the middle of the forest in Greece, completely naked, but it was a start...
Thankfully he was just beside his teleportation formation that brought him back home to the twin Formation he set out for safety measures. He wouldn't have been able to return without first looking at the exact coordinates and he never expected that His journal and clothes would stay behind... He still needed to refine that spell it seems...
He also figured out how to shape the Mana itself into shields and weapons but this was still a work in progress. The most he could do was harden the Mana into a physically and magically somehow impenetrable wall but it was good enough for now. He wasn't sure how much could the shield take, but he believed that it depended on how much Mana he provided to the shield. He could also use it to restrain someone so that was a good improvement...
Their growth was immense and now it was time to move out!
Cashing in The kilogram gold bar, that Octavia set aside, by making some simple gold jewelry like plain rings or armbands, was a bit of a pain in the ass. Thankfully, with a bit of mind magic and looking around, he finally managed to sell it off to a Jeweler in another city. He purposely drove to a city two hours away, with a train, to avoid someone finding out that he was the one that sold a kilogram of Jewelery made of pure Gold...Yes... It wasn't the brightest idea he ever had, but he really had no way of explaining the origin of the gold so an invisibility and mind magic mission was in order.
Thankfully the guy he sold the gold to, was actually a greedy bastard with contacts according to the Observe, and tricking him into buying the gold was with profit to both of them, as he was paid more than the gold was actually worth, and the Jeweler would sell it on a black market for an even bigger profit.
It was a wonder how Mind magic could make someone tell his deepest secrets and then make him forget about doing so...
Konrad was very surprised about the existence of the black market but he was already done with what he came for. Maybe someday he will return and crash that place to get some 'Loot' From the criminals that stationed there...
He was soon back home with a wallet heavier by over 50 000 Euros, and it was time for the hardest part. Figuring out a good excuse to his family for moving out...

A bit messed up at the end with the gold part but just assume he cashed it at a corrupt Jeweler with the help of mind magic and that's all XD
Anyway the long awaited freedom is here! Who knows where will the Adventure lead our Hero! Who knows? I don't. But I'll be the first to know and then I'll tell you Haha
