*IN HEIDI'S JOURNAL*
The third princess, Brunia Von Vermillion, 16 years old. From the time she was a small child, she's applauded as a pure genius with a brilliant mind. It's evidently clear that the Princess possesses an extraordinary intellect. Brunia has presented several academic papers and is a verging young scholar in the field of mathematics, biology, philosophy, and sociology. Generally seen as "The Brainiac Princess."

Professor Heidi arrived and politely knocked on Brunia's door three times. Brunia allowed her into her room without throwing any tantrums, unlike Princess Leonora.
Professor Heidi examined Brunia's chambers and thought, "What an immaculate room she keeps!"
Brunia escorted the Professor to have a seat and asked, "Now that we're both here, how do we begin?"
Professor Heidi replied, "I'm going to get straight to the point. There is this competency test I would like you to take."
Brunia nodded and responded while accepting the papers, "Understood."
Heidi thought, "That was disturbingly easy." Brunia was done with the test within 30 minutes, which was considerably quick, given that the exam was quite lengthy.
Brunia spoke, "Excuse my abruptness, however, I'd like to test your abilities as well. I was wondering how good an imperial mentor can be, considering that you don't even have a college degree. Every imperial mentor has had significantly less intelligence than I am. If you don't prove to be one different, I would ask you to resign this post at once."
Professor Heidi thought, "Given her intelligence, I should be wise to exercise caution if I want to build trust between us. I shall decline her challenge."
Brunia continued, "Although, I am perplexed at the moment. I have met many imperial mentors, though I don't expect much from one who isn't physically well-built."
This statement aggravated Professor Heidi so much that she replied with anger with fume coming out of her ears like how gas comes out of a train engine, "Well then! I accept your challenge! Have at me!"
Brunia walked towards her drawers while saying, "Well... the palace has employed you for this post, which must mean that you have some measurable amount of intelligence. But how are you with strategy? One can learn a deal about an opponent through a game of chess. But I hope that you're prepared for a challenge because I have never lost before."
Heidi replied with an angry pout, "That's just the way I like it."
*A FEW MINUTES LATER*
Professor Heidi won the game, which infuriated Brunia. She slammed her hands on the table and yelled, "How is this possible? We've barely just commenced the game! How could I lose so quickly!?"
Professor Heidi responded while rising from her seat, all prepared to depart from the room, "Well, good match. Not very long though; I will be on my way t--"
Brunia interrupted her by screaming, "NO WAIT! ONE MORE TEST!"
Heidi scoffed, "Ugh! You have more tests?"
No matter how many tests or games Brunia had planned for her, the Professor won all of them: Arithmetic, Instrument playoff, poker, and an analysis made by Brunia herself. The examination consisted of various fields of study with the questions written in five different languages. The Professor scored a hundred in the analysis.
After the conclusion of the test, Heidi said, "Princess, one more thing, there is a misspelled word in the language of Forseine on problem 57, I went ahead and marked it red."
Brunia fell on the ground with her face buried in her hands. She thought, "Ugh! I have no hope of defeating her! Her raw ability is overwhelming, is this what a pure genius looks like? From a young age, I was a competitive child, I worked endlessly hard to distinguish myself. After all those years of hard work, what do I have to show for it?"
Professor Heidi looked over to find one of Brunia's thesis on the table, and she decided to examine it. After a glance, Heidi said, "I see, regarding the effects of the Vermillion kingdom's founding ideology, you have given impressive detail." Brunia responded with astonishment, "You can tell which point I have poured most effort into, just by a glance?"
Professor Heidi answered, "Yes, absolutely! This is the work of a gifted scholar, not a royal. However, in one section on the economic crisis 30 years ago, you are mistaken to accuse the banks. This is a delicate subject, so you must compose it very carefully."
Brunia snatched away the papers from the Professor's hands to examine it for herself. She acknowledged, "Yes, you're right. It's a small part of the thesis, but it completely lacks in subtlety."
Professor Heidi continued, "Also, don't forget to mention the Flora theatre's point of view. It's outside your field of study, of course. But considering diverse points of view will help your case."
Brunia thought, "There's someone who can understand my writing ad can give me beneficial advice! I am truly amazed by this dignified woman! This is; this is---"
Mid thought, Brunia slammed the papers on her desk, clasped the Professor's hands, and knelt before her saying, "Please let me call you mistress!"
Heidi replied, "Oh no! I am only the imperial mentor, just call me Professor."
Brunia rebutted, "Sorry, I let my childhood excitement get the best of me! But no, you are a mistress. You are smarter than every other person I've ever met! You deserve respect!"
Professor Heidi's facial expression faltered as she thought, "What a strange kind of attachment!"
Then she realized that Princess Brunia was looking for someone whom she could call her teacher. Professor Heidi and Brunia were arguing about what term the Princess must use to address the imperial tutor when suddenly Licha entered the room by shrieking, "Brunie!!!"
Brunia was infuriated on how Licha casually entered the room without knocking three times. Brunia yelled, "Licha! How many times I told you not to merely barge into my chambers!"
Licha replied, "Relax Brunie, I'm here to ask you about your interview! You are guys done?"
Professor Heidi answered, "Yes, Princess Licha, I was just concluding our session."
Heidi reminded Brunia that she has to be present at the reception hall at 4 in the evening and that she would only commence the lessons if all the four Princesses are present and accounted for.
Licha carried the mentor in her arms and fled from the room with Brunia screaming, "Hey! We weren't done yet!"
As Heidi was being taken, she thought, "Honestly, I'm relieved. Brunia is tiresome and is a royal pain in the you-know-what."
