Chapter 5
"Ai... In the future, please stop me from accepting missions out of impulse." Scarlett communicates with Ai while drinking her cute bunny foam art latte.
She stares at the empty seat beside Caroline, imagining Hologram Ai being there.
"If you're going to continue staring at blank spaces, you're on your own. I'm not going to stop you." Ai replied.
"What? Awww... but I- Fine. Don't tell me anything. Priority comes first." Scarlett jokes.
"Your childishness is through the roof." Ai sighed.
"I have my rights to be childish regardless of my age!" She rebutted.
"Yeah. Glad you know you ain't young anymore." Ai response and went silent.
Scarlett pouted and thought, "Why did I receive such a sassy Ai.."
Caroline waves her hand in front of Scarlett.
"Erm... Do you not like the latte? I don't mind switching with you. Mine's really good!" Caroline pushes her puppy foam art latte towards Scarlett.
Scarlett shakes her head and replied, " No! The latte is really good. It tasted like caramel ice cream...?"
Scarlett was confused with the drink, it's warm when touching the cup but taste like a cold sweet dessert.
She then exchanges with Caroline, wondering how other flavours of latte would taste like. Scarlett took a sip and her eyes glistened. Caroline's latte tasted like flowers blooming in her mouth. The drinks were magical, a cute foam art with the taste of wonder.
"Woah." the two of them said concurrently. Adeline, who did not order any drinks, was curious to the latte due to their reaction. Scarlett prompted Adeline to try a sip of each drink.
"Woah." Adeline said after trying both.
"I know right. Woah." Scarlett said while doing the mindblowing gesture.
"Thank you for waiting! Your pancakes are here." the little boy came, holding two plates on each hand while balancing the last plate on his head. He swiftly put it on their table and gave a polite bow before he leaves.
Caroline ordered a plate of raspberry cheesecake pancakes, Adeline ordered the original pancakes with butter and maple syrup, and Scarlett ordered the peanut butter chocolate pancakes with banana slices on top.
Caroline and Scarlett went straight into their heavenly meal and gobble up the delicious pancakes. Adeline chuckled at the sight of the two chipmunks stuffing their cheeks out, she then wipes Scarlett's nose and cheeks, smudged with peanut butter and chocolate.
Caroline stares at their interaction and chuckled.
Adeline took another napkin and wiped off the raspberry jam on Caroline's cheek. Caroline looked at her pancakes and shyly thank Adeline.
While they were enjoying their meal, a scream could be heard all around the cafe.
A muscular middle-aged man was holding a dead cockroach with his index finger and thumb, and shouted at the little boy who was serving Scarlett's table.
"We found this inside my wife's beverage! I want a refund now." he slams the counter as his wife was hiding behind his back, sobbing.
"Our cafe's employees are detail-oriented. It is impossible for you to find a huge ass cockroach in your drink. If there were, our stuff would've realised it." the little boy replied as he points to his other beastkin colleagues.
All beastkins have incredible senses, the most basic are a keen sense of smell and sharp eye sights, so they would have realised the cockroach before serving their items to the customers.
All the customers stood up for the cafe. The regulars guaranteed that the cafe's cleanliness is top-notch.
"Shut up! These beasts are just slaves, " He shouted at the crowd.
"Why not just listen to us, human, your master's words?" he grabs the little boy's collar tightly and raises his fist up.
"Give us the refund and some extra gold coins as compensation for damaging my wife's mental health. Then, we'll leave your cafe alone." he smirked as the little boy scowled at him.
Everyone was silent, not knowing what to do. The little boy waved his hand to his colleague, asking him to take the coins for the pair. Scarlett stood up, wanted to help but suddenly the cafe door was slammed open.
*BAM*
Everyone stares at the entrance, a beauty with champagne blonde hair, but is wearing a plain shirt and pants.
"Oooooooh, boy. It's Samantha. Good luck guys." Scarlett commented and sat back down.
Samantha walks towards the pair and stood in front of them. The man immediately let go of the little boy and starts to flirt with her.
She then leans over to him, reaching over the counter to grab the dead cockroach. Thinking that she was going for a hug, he tried to grab her waist but fail as she instantaneous moved back.
"Oh, you're a playful one." he smirked disgustingly.
"What the hell are you doing! Flirting with my man when I'm around!?" the wife frowned and glared at her.
"Does that mean... It's okay to flirt with him behind your back?" Samantha teased.
The agitated wife screams at her and raises her hand to slap Samantha. Samantha grabbed her hand mid-air and stuff the dead cockroach into her mouth.
Everyone gasped at the scene. Samantha pulls her hand back and said, "Now that is a damage on your wife's mental health."
The wife ran out to vomit while everyone in the cafe starts to clap for her.
"You little whore-" the husband, who felt embarrassed by Samantha's trick, raised his fist up towards her.
Samantha grabs his fist as he landed his punch. The man was surprised by her strength and tried to pull his hand away.
"Like husband like wife, huh?" She chuckled, then stared dead into his eyes.
She twist his arm and headbutts his face, people could definitely hear a loud crack sound when it was landed.
"You bit- AGH!" without even completing his sentence, Samantha broke his arm next.
"Guards, drag this trash out." Samantha announced as she straightens her shirt.
The guards pull him away and everyone cheers for Samantha. Samantha shows a victory sign and walked towards the little boy.
She had a small chat before she ordered her takeaway. Samantha notices at the corner of her eye, there was someone waving their hands towards her. She turned and saw Scarlett with a wide smile.
She ran full speed towards Scarlett and leaps on her.
"Our darling! You're here!" she hugs Scarlett and looks over to Caroline.
"Hello, future sister in law!" Samantha waves her hand and Caroline shyly waves back. Adeline stood up and gave her seat to Samantha but she declined as she had to train the knights after buying the drinks.
"You were so cool just now!" Scarlett said in enthusiasm. Caroline nods furiously.
"Heh! I'm always cool!" She said proudly.
The little boy came towards Scarlett's table and gave Samantha her order and some additional desserts.
"Thank you again for helping just now! Here are some desserts as an appreciation for your help!" the little boy passed it to Samantha.
After grabbing her food and beverages, she pats the little boy's head one last time and says her goodbye. The little boy stares at her, looking a little dazed as he touches his head.

Mission 1(Leonard Gray): Befriend Samantha
Tasks:
1) Befriend Leonard.
2) Visit Cafe at least 10 times with Samantha.
3) Let them be alone for at least 5 times.
Success: Rewards will be given after the mission is complete.
Failure: Leonard -50 trust.
Accept/Decline?"
Scarlett starts to look around, trying to spot the blue wolf.
"Ai, is there a glitch in this system?" Scarlett asked.
"No. Leonard is in front of you." Ai replies.
"Huh..? Where! Wtf, am I blind or something?"
"No. You're just dumb," Ai sighed.
Scarlett unconsciously murmured, " Where the hell is Leonard Gray?"
"Yes, customer. What would you like?" the little boy responded as he turned behind and faced Scarlett.
"What. You're Leonard Gray?" Scarlett blurts out.
The little boy nods.
She quickly shakes her head and rushes him to continue his work.
She needs time to think about this webtoon she had just arrived and everything was different.
"First of all, There is this nice girl who will turn into a villainess in 3 months. Now, a little boy who will age up by at least 10 years within 3 months?! WHAT IS THIS? I DIDN'T SIGN UP FOR THIS SHIT." Scarlett yelled at Ai in her mind as she slams her head on the table.
