Penyamaran's PoV

I feel a pressure cling to my heart and shoulders as I push Yasuharu away, a nauseous smell filling my nose.

"This is wrong. Damien may have done. . . what he did. But I can't cheat on him. No one deserves that, not even him." I stumble up, the smell becoming unbearable as I feel his fingers try to grip at me, but before I know what I'm doing, I slap them away and move towards the front door of the house. A clatter of noise fills my ears and the stench goes away as I quickly rush to the front door and slam it open, turning my head left and right until I notice Damien.

Two bottles of whiskey, one bottle of Vodka and a cigarette. What a mess.

I let out a shaken sigh, hurrying over and snatching the bottles from his hands and gripping the sides of his face gently.

"Penny, what are you still doing here-" I pull the cigarette from his fingers, putting it out with my shoe and smiling up at him softly.

"You know I'd never leave you, Damien." I say quietly, moving and sitting in his lap and hugging him, staring into the darkness that lurked over the kitchen. Sitting there. In the dark.

How depressing.

I'd never leave him, because I never got the chance to when I could.

I begin to hear soft cries and feel heavy breaths fan against my shoulder as he grips the back of my shirt tightly.

"Oh Damien. . ." I mutter quietly, pulling away and staring up at his teary eyes and snotty nose. What a sheepish man when he's drunk and upset. I shift, rubbing his tears away with my thumbs as he pulls a sleeve across his nose to wipe away the snot. Shifting silently, my eyes direct their ways to his lips and I slowly lean in and kiss him, feeling him pull me closer, and letting out a small smile.
