Chapter 8

When my father said they had good security he was right . . . again.

I've been stuck in this place for at least a month now.

The school is located in the mountains of some 3rd world country.

It's hidden in plain sight, quite genius actually.

Why would the richest people in the world send their kids to some poor country to get an education instead of the most prestigious schools in the world?

They wouldn't, so any enemies wouldn't be alerted.

So for top security, the school was secretly built in these mountains while the best of the best technology was illegally imported into the country. There are guards surrounding the school and hidden throughout the mountains. Most of them have pledge loyalties to many of the families who send their children to the school here. With this information, my father told me that loyalty is stronger then any bribe, so he was confident in my saftey. Also with my uncle keeping an eye on me, I felt safer as well.

I've made at least one friend . . . well one friend that I like . . .

And meeting my Uncle was quite the experience, instead of walking up to me and introducing himself like a normal person, he thought it would be funny to give me a written pop quiz on my family history while the rest of the class received the ACTUAL written pop quiz. My first grade was almost an F since he didn't turn in my correct pop quiz paper for a grade.

My dad and him are nothing alike, he is the most eccentric man I have ever met. One glance at him and you wouldn't have even thought he could be in the military. However, upon closer inspection you could see dozens of tiny scars all over his arms as healed battle wounds.

Well, one thing that him and my dad have in common is the fact that no boy is good enough. He has done all the work for me and scared a majority of the pestering teenage boys away from me. I think he even scared one kid so bad he peed himself. He ended up getting a stern talking to from the dean once the kids' parents called to complain saying that they weren't helping to contribute to the school's funding for their kid to get scared half to death and to the point where he wet his pants.

I had a good laugh after he told me that.

Knowing that I do have some family with me and I am not completely alone does help.

Luckily, the Dean knows somewhat of my situation, and instead of sitting through another semester of high school, he put me in advanced classes that were considered college level.
