Six years ago, a massive guy was leaving his favorite tavern, "Misu's Tavern", and with him, was a little girl, who is covering himself in brown and yellow blankets and has a dagger attached at her belt under those blankets. The massive guy is Big Gus, who is the uncle of our protagonist, Judah Judas, and the squire next to him is the first squire he will try to teach him in becoming a fine warrior who will serve for Romania Royal Army one day, or work as a bounty hunter in other kingdoms because this thing is still illegal here for some reasons.
"Are you ready for a new mission?"
"Yes, master." says the little girl who is covered in blankets and is carrying a little sword.
"Alright. Let's go to haunt that wild and giant rabbit," says Big Gus walking to the road who is heading to the forest where Big Gus and her little squire will fight a wild and giant rabbit who is attacking healthy animals and humans who do not possess magic or any fighting ability. "Anyway, what is the matter with you, squire?"
"Um... Mister, I think I am going to give up."
"Huh? give up in what?"
"I-In being a squire." says the little female squire covered in blankets.
"Why would you do that, though?"
"I-It is because... I a-am scared of killing animals... Poor animals who did not even harm humans or us."
"Well, sometimes you gotta do a bad thing just to achieve safety to someone." says Big Gus after press the little girl's shoulder. "Don't worry, the rabbit will not die though, because it is a regenerative type."
"Regenerative type?"
"An animal who cannot be killed and instead, he will regenerate in a few minutes. It is a good supply for hungry people or animals. Have you ever saw a giant wild rabbit?" he takes the hand from her shoulder because he realized it makes the girl feels much more awkward.
"No." respond little girl squire to Big Gus while both of them are taking a turn to the right and walking straight for the entire of their conversation.
"They are like rabbits, but fifteen times larger and more dangerous because they are large, but one disadvantage of these creatures is the size, practically these rabbits can not hide in burrows like the small ones, which is why most of the time you find them hidden among dense forests or in the rarest cases, in hot areas such as the Zimbabwe deserts. And these creatures can be hard to kill because they present a few extra hearts, so, even though you will destroy a heart of one of these things, they can still live because they got the extra hearts which will help them to live without problems until the heart will fully regenerate. Anyway, why are you wearing blankets when today is a sunny day? Are you a vampire?"
"N-No. I-I am a monster."
"Monster-human?"
The girl did not respond to this question, she just only nods her head and Big Gus has understood the girl and then, after they have left the city, Big Gus suddenly stopped he turned to the girl's face and asks her.
"Can you take your blankets out of your face?"
"I-I do not want to do it." says the little girl in fear.
"Why? Are you scared that the monster will kill me?" asks Big Gus that little squire.
"Mhm."
"Alright. Listen, young squire." says Big Gus by putting both hands on the elbows of that squire and kneeling to be at the same height but when he sits on his knees, he notices that this little girl is about his height but decides to stay that way because he wants to add a little confidence to this beginner squire. "I have seen many monsters in my entire knight life... I have faced many tough challenges who could kill me... I have even face humans who are much worse than those villains from those novels are little kids reading it nowadays. If the monster will try to attack me, it will not be your fault. Not, it will be the monster's fault that he is trying to attack me, Big Gus, a knight who has seen everything in his thirty-three years of life on this beautiful planet. Now, can you take your blanket off to see you?"
"I-I w-will try." says the girl who is starting to feel so like one who got confessed by the most beautiful guys she has ever laid her eyes on.
This squire slowly takes her blanket off, because she's shy lest that monster comes out so quickly to attack and corner Big Gus, but to the happiness of these two people, when the squire took off the entire blanket that completely covered it and made it look like a monk isolated in the dark realms. This monster in it didn't come out of the attack. And Big Gus finally managed to see who the girl in front of her was. this girl is a blonde, with long hair, who has on her dressed some thin clothes for winter days, at the belt of her pants that are two sizes larger is a dagger, a rather small weapon, but good for a beginner, it has blue eyes, a scar in the form of a wolf scratch on the right cheek. The girl in the front of Big Gus is Fiona, the woman who is the knight and has our Main Character as a squire.
"T-The monster..."
"Huh?" asked Big Gus while he looked at this beautiful little squire.
"T-The monster did not come to attack you."
"Indeed. It looks like this monster cannot handle a tough opponent. Anyway, why you hide in the first place? Don't you want to be recognized by people?"
"Y-Yes. I wanted to be seen by people, but... I am scared that they will laugh at me for the reason that I am a human-monster."
"... What kind of monster you possess?"
"A vewolf."
"... Don't be sad, little fighter. I know some dudes who can possess monsters like these and they do not have problems in controlling it."
Then, the Big Gus looked on the forest and he saw there a few birds who are flying from their trees and they are heading west. Big Gus looked back at Fiona and he told her that they should continue moving because that giant wild rabbit is in that forest and he is starting to attack innocent animals or people, but more people because giant rabbits can consume human flesh, even though most of the rabbits are omnivory because they are eating mostly vegetables, but these giant rabbits are an exception.
In a few minutes, these two warriors have arrived there and they are encountering a giant rabbit, who is just eating the flesh of a deer. Fiona is starting to throw up when she sees that giant and cute rabbit eating an entire deer, and Big Gus is doing the move what a close friend is doing to a drunk or sick friend, is there to help Fiona feeling better.
"Do not worry, this deer... Even though it is dead. She will live a peaceful eternity in the Animals Clouds."
"I... I am fine." says Fiona after she wipes with the sleeve from his thin blouse of saliva that has not yet fallen from his mouth. "Le-Lets make that beast di-disappear."
"Are you sure you can do it?"
"I will try." says Fiona when she takes her dagger and was about to take a step into that creature, but Big Gus stopped her.
"You are not ready."
"Why?"
"You are trembling. You cannot hold a weapon yet. Because you are scared to take someone's life."
Fiona noticed right now that she is trembling, and she is trying to stop it, but Big Gus, goes straight to that giant rabbit, he takes the sword he had on the sheath and then he is attacking that giant rabbit who was still eating the deer. The first hit of that sword has cut the giant rabbit ear, and that hit had made the rabbit turn back and screams at Big Gus, who has landed at three meters distance from that rabbit.
"Sorry, giant rabbit. but you have to leave this place."
The rabbit is charging at Big Gus, and Big Gus is dodging the charging attack and he got time to use the sword by cutting the right leg of the rabbit, and then he uses another attack to stab the rabbit into his butt. The rabbit is hitting a tree with his head and the tree is starting to fall. Fiona is staying on a rock and she is watching Big Gus and she is feeling worried that his knight who is working will be in danger, but Big Gus is smiling while he looks at the rabbit who got his head hit on a tree.
Big Gus is walking fast at that rabbit butt, he takes the sword from the rabbit butt as fast as he can, and then, after the rabbit has turned around, Big Gus observed that the cut ear of the rabbit has started to heal and then he decides to run away in hope that the giant rabbit will chase him, and this is what happens. While Big Gus was running around from that giant rabbit, Fiona was about to leave her place, but then he heard Big Gus screaming. "STAY THERE!" and Fiona remains there, like a good toddler, and waits for Big Gus to return at her, which was happening a few minutes later. You see, the giant rabbit has chased Big Gus until he arrived at a vast pit and from there, Big Gus has avoided the pit jumping over it and the rabbit fell into that pit where it is almost twenty meters deep.
"Did the rabbit has suffered?"
"He fell into a pit." says big Gus to Fiona. "He will die because of starvation, but this was the only way to achieve peace in this forest."
"... I... I want to be strong." says Fiona after these two have started to go back into their Kingdom.
"... You will have to train hard to become strong." says Big Gus to Fiona without stop walking. "You will have to train your monster. The way of attacking with daggers. And stop trembling."
Fiona trembled back, but when Big Gus has mentioned she was trembling, she is topping trembling she looks at Big Gus and he is telling him.
"Can you teach me how I can train my vewolf?"
"I do not know how I can do that, but I know a guy who can help you in vewolf training, but attacking... I think a sword could suit you."
"Do you think so?"
"Yes. And you know why? Because a sword is making you much more powerful than a dagger."
"If... If you say so... And I am sorry."
"About what?"
"I-I do not want to give up on being a squire. I really want to become a knight and help my close ones and my family."
"Good." says Big Gus. "You will probably become a good one in the future if you will have this will every day in your life."
And after a few years later, Fiona has become one of the best knight of the Kingdom of Romania.
