Chapter 6

"Before we arrive at HotRock you got to do something for me." spoke Emma out.

"What's that?" asked Aku.

"Please take a shower you smell like a sweat shop." pleaded Emma.

The girl pinched her nose and Patch wined softly as she smelled Aku.

"The shower is through the door at the back." said Emma pointing to the back of the ship.

Aku nodded taking the bag which spade gave him and walked through the door causing the light to be turned on showing a simple bathroom which consisted of a shower, a toilet, a basin, and finally a mirror above the basin. The teen placed the bag down and slowly took off all the bandages on his body showing that all the wounds were healed. He took of his pants and started to shower; the warm water soothed his stiff muscle's as he noticed some shower gel in front of him.

While Aku was showering Emma was busy drinking some coffee she made. The girl could hear the shower going in the back ground as she gave patch a dog treat before sitting in the pilot chair again. Emma sat in silence for 10 minutes while her brain was going through multiple thoughts.

"If we are really going to look for Erdenes there is a lot we need. For one we are going to need to get an enterpriser ship. Those things are built from planet exploration and battle. My ship is just a travel ship." thought Emma to herself.

She sighed and took a sip of coffee.

"Not to mention we are going to need an entire crew since I doubt Aku and I would be enough to maintain the ship and fight everyone that gets in our way." mumbled Emma to herself.

The girl looked through the front glass of the ship at the ever-expanding black canvas of space adorned by twinkling stars. She suddenly smiled and stood up straight.

"This is going to be the journey of the life time though and think of all that treasure!" said the blue haired girl.

"Watch out world we gonna take you by storm!" shouted Emma.

The girl heard the door open behind and she turned around her jaw dropped seeing Aku. The teen was now wearing black baggy pants adorned with black military boots. He had a plain white t-shirt on and over the t-shirt was a dark green collared t-shirt with white strips going from his left shoulder to his hip. His once long hair was now cut short to where it rested at his ears. The girl stared at Aku causing him to look at her confusingly.

"What?" asked Aku.

Emma cleared her throat and then sat in the pilot chair again quickly.

"You clean up nicely now c'mon we are arriving at the planet." said Emma.

Aku looked through the front window and saw a Red planet becoming bigger and bigger multiple ships flying away while others were flying back in. Patch looked at her partner seeing a light blush was on the girl's face causing her to grin and bark at Emma. The girl took notice of the dog's grin and told her to shut it causing Patch to bark happily. Once the ship entered the planet's atmosphere Aku saw multiple cities all around with bustling streets and lots of inhabitants. After a few minutes the ship landed in the ship landing site and the trio walked out. The smell of the city was a completely new experience to Aku and he could without a shadow of a doubt say the forest was a much better smelling place.

"C'mon the guild isn't that far off!" told Emma the teen.

The girl walked through the crowds as Aku only followed after her. Aku looked at all the people and machimas minding their own business and happily talk to one another. After 5 minuets of waking they arrived at the guild, once they walked through the building the entire guild stopped and ran up to Emma crowding her.

"EMMA WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN!!!" shouted Guild member 1

"YOUR NOT HURT RIGHT?!" shouted a second Guild member

"Guys! I'm all right I was just on a job request." replied Emma.

"You have been gone for 1 whole week!" said another guild member.

"Well it was a tough job ok." said Emma softly.

"The Guilds Moral was completely gone for the week!" said the guild member

Emma sighed and gave them all a fake smile and stroke a pose.

"DONT FEEL DOWN FOR THE PEARLS ARE THE SHINIEST GEM!" said Emma.

She did a cute wink and threw a peace sign. The guild roared with new found energy and started to disperse doing jobs faster than ever before. Once no one was around her she released a sad sigh and turned to her friends only to see Aku was holding back a laugh.

"Pearls are the Shiniest Gem?" spoke Aku out mimicking her tone.

Emma blushed in embarrassment and punched him on the chest.

"Shud Up!" shouted Emma.

She stormed off to the guild counter as Aku and patch followed her. Once they arrived at the counter, they saw a girl wearing a formal suit and tie typing away on a keyboard connected to a screen. She had long green hair that was in two twin tails, her eye color consisted of a soft brown as she had red rimmed square glasses. This was Mia Clock.

"Mia!" said Emma.

The girl looked up and released a soft gasp as she stood up and gave the girl a hug across the counter.

"Emma! Oh my Gosh are you alright?!" spoke Mia out frantically.

The girl in question laughed softly and held the only true friend she had in the guild's hands.

"The skeleton werewolf was a challenge but I got it in the end!" bragged Emma.

She took out her holophone and showed the picture of the dead werewolf causing Mia to have a big smile on her face.

"Congrats! You took down a strong creature!" said Mia.

"Yeah... Except I would have probably died after the fight it." mumbled Emma.

Mia gasped and held a hand over her mouth.

"Why what happened?" asked Mia.

"An Alpha land Shark appeared..." said Emma.

"WHAT! Don't tell me you tried to attack it!" shouted Mia.

Emma laughed nervously and scratched the back of her neck nervously.

"Idiot!" said Mia.

She karate chopped Emma on the head causing her to wince and rub the spot.

"If it wasn't for Aku I would have died so be happy he showed up!" shouted Emma.

"Aku?" asked Mia.

The girl looked at the teen next to Emma taking in his features.

"Are you Aku?" asked Mia.

Aku nodded at the girl only to feel one of his hands being grasped by her.

"Thank you Aku! If it wasn't for you Emma here probably would be dead..." said Mia softly.

"No problem I guess." replied Aku.

Emma cleared her throat drawing the attention of the girl who was staring straight into Aku's red eyes.

"Can I get the reward now Mia?" asked Emma.

"Right of course!" said Mia quickly.

The girl sat back down in her seat and typed away on her keyboard while seconds later on a small circular pad on the counter a black box appeared. Emma took the black book and looked inside seeing 4 rows of Coal, which were black circles that had a white cross on it.

"And there you go 20 000 Coal use it well." said Mia.

"Thanks Mia." replied Emma.

She sent the girl a smile and Showed Aku how much they got.

"Another thing Mia i want to form a party with Aku and he needs to register with the guild." said Emma.

"Of course, Aku please place your hand over here." motioned Mia.

She placed a white square in front of the teen who put his hand on it, the box glowed blue for a few seconds and then it stopped. Mia typed something again and from the same black circle the coal came from appeared a plastic card that had Akus name and Rank.

"How is my information on here?" asked Aku.

"The box you placed your hand on was called a Scanner, it absorbed some of your Tronium flowing through your body and read all your information categoriesed it according to the ranking system.

"So, congrats on be a A rank Adventurer!" shouted Mia.

"Hey nice going i knew you were strong!" said Emma.

"Since he is higher rank than you Emma he is unfortunately the Captain of the party..." said Mia softly.

Emma smiled and held her hand out for a fist bump.

"I don't mind at all" she grinned at him.

Aku had a small smile on his face as he bumped her fist.

"Now isn't that just cute!" said a Female voice.

"Oh no I know that voice! Thought Emma to herself.

As they turned around, they saw 2 people standing there. At the front was a girl. She had long flowing blond hair that reached her hips. She was wearing a pair of red denim booty shorts that left nothing much to the imagination, as she was wearing thigh high black heeled boots. On the top half of her body she was wearing a skin tight blue sweater showing her voluptuous figure. Her Eye color consisted of a dark shade of pink. Next to her was a big mountain lion that had a spiked color around its neck. This was Rebbeca Quartz and her pet Jaws.

"Rebbeca what do you want?" asked Emma.

"Aww can't I talk to a fellow friend?" said Rebbeca.

"We arnt friends." said Emma flatly.

Rebbeca had a shocked look on her face before she laughed and held her stomach.

"That's right I would never be friends with commoner trash." spat Rebbeca out.

Rebbeca was also one of the idols in the guild next to Emma who came from a long line of Successful adventurers that later became a royal line connected to kings and queens.

Emma just stared at the girl without emotion.

"You still haven't answered my question. What. Do. You. Want." said Emma.

"I heard that you killed a Skeleton Werewolf you must think you're so strong, don't you?" said Rebbeca.

"What's it to you?" asked Emma.

The blond-haired girl had a nasty sneer on her face as she had a stare down with the blue hair girl.

"I just came here to remind you that you will never be strong only carry on being a weak pebble for me to walk over." said Rebbeca.

Emma suddenly glared back at the girl.

"I am not having this anymore you keep talking as if you are strong but I have never seen you take any jobs higher than C rank." shouted Rebbeca.

"Shut up who do you think you are?!" roared Rebbeca.

"Just the girl that going to beat you!" responded Emma.

Rebbeca had a look of fury on her face as she glared at the girl.

"You want to put your money were you mouth is?" started Rebbeca.

"Fine it will be a fight between me and you and my right man versus yours!" said the blond-haired girl.

A teen about the same age as Aku walked forward next to Rebbeca. He had a pair of khaki jeans on with white shoes. He had a black v neck shirt on that had a red rose pattern in the middle and had a grey parka jacket on. He had snow white hair that was in a pony tail, as his eye color consisted of a piercing blue. This was King Jade.

King yawed and then looked at Aku who looked back at him, both teens eyes glowed softly their respective colors.

"C'mon let's go outside Mia you be ref ok?" said Rebbeca.

The girl meekly nodded.

The group walked out the guild as everyone in it evasdropped and roared in agreement following them. Once outside they arrived at a massive empty field behind the guild.

"Here are the rules! "started Rebbeca.

"We will fight are opponent separately, the winner is decided when the other is knocked out or surrenders. "said Rebbeca.

"If we win, I want you both go on the ground and lick my feet begging for forgiveness! "said Rebbeca as she grinned at them full of confidence causing Emma to glare at her while Aku also glared at the girl.

"And if we win you give me 30 000 Coal to buy a new ship and apologies for all the years of mean comments! "declared Emma.

Rebbeca laughed and walked to the other side of the field Emma walking to the opposite side of her.

"That's pocket change for me so deal! "shouted Rebbeca.

Both girls looked at each other before Mia raised her hand a look of worry flashed on her face as she brought her hand down.

"BEGIN!" shouted Mia.
