Shu Mei finally stopped examining the daggers and returned her attention to Da Xia. "Lady Xia, are you sure that you want to give such a treasure to me?" She asked as if she knew that Da Xia was feeling reluctant all of a sudden.
"They are of no use to me. I just hope that you won't use them for harming the innocent ones." Da Xia spoke truthfully as she gave a last glance at the daggers before turning her eyes away. Since she had already placed the daggers in the hands of the little girl, there was no longer an option of changing her mind.
"Alright! I can promise you that." Shu Mei said, taking Da Xia by complete surprise. Was the girl really a good person? Da Xia couldn't seem to find the answer to that question.
