It had taken them five long minutes to make that girl finally drink the tea and as Da Xia watched Bai Lin checking to see if the girl had fallen asleep or not, she could feel her body relaxing.

If she had known that instead of helping her to get rid of the girl, Madam Chen would only add more trouble by allowing Shu Mei to accompany her on her trip to the forest, she would never have gone to Chen's manor in the first place.

"All done. You can leave now." Bai Lin said as she ordered two of the herb hall's maids to shift Shu Mei into one of the side rooms where the girl could sleep without any trouble.
