Paris's POV:
It's been a long time since I placed Richard in that jar... So long it's around the year 1495. He hasn't been successful on healing his stone... With all that I've tried on purifying... giving him love and attention... Nothing has worked. I eyed over his jar as I finished our song. It's time to just bring him back. I tried and he's been so resistant. I don't know what else to do but bring him back and... face him in his natural form. He's probably going to kill me.... maybe I deserve it. I eyed the jar over and sniffled. "Why won't you just heal?" I asked him and grabbed the jar quickly. I broke it over the piano and grabbed his stone as it fell into my lap. I bit down into my wrist and gave him the blood as I moved us into the floor- waiting on him to come back to me. Maybe I can convince him this time.... that I did it for love... for us. I felt his stone pulse in my hand, quickly heating up as it burned me and made me drop him. He formed on the ground after a few minutes and groaned as he regained consciousness, rolling onto his side as he hissed. I saw his pretty black hair look shinier than before, his features seeming better than I had remembered. His very scent called out to me, screaming he was my mate, and it made my stone pulse as he curled up and rubbed at his chest in a daze. R-Richard. I let a small gasp slip my lips before I crawled over to him and got on top of him. My love! I leaned down towards his neck and bit down into him- marking him quickly to help him realize how much I loved him. I pulled back as soon as I did it and looked down at him. "I love you," I whispered to him softly. He looked up at me then frowned before he gave a sharp growl and narrowed his eyes, bolting upright and forcing us to sit up.
"You," he hissed, glaring at me in rage. "How could you?!" I yelped and moved out of his lap quickly.
"R-Richard I thought you loved me," I whispered. He clenched his jaw and got to his feet, glaring me down.
"I did love you, but you betrayed me! YOU LET THAT MAN TORTURE ME WHEN I TOLD YOU NO, WHEN I BEGGED YOU FOR HELP! You didn't listen to me, Paris! You did all of that for yourself! HOW COULD YOU?! I've done nothing but love you for the last hundreds of centuries! I've always been there for you, and I killed our parents for us, but you," he growled out and exposed his fangs, shaking his head with a heartbroken look. "How could you...." I could see the rage boiling in his eyes as he looked me over before he turned away from me and hissed. "I can't believe this is the kind of mate you are, Paris. I thought you were different." His footsteps started to echo on the floor as he started for the door. "I'm not sticking around with someone who would betray my love and trust like that." I eyed him over and let out a shaky breath. He's leaving me?
"Where are you going?" I asked softly and got to my feet quickly and went for him. "R-Richard you're not going to leave me- are you? I mean- I b-brought you back and everything. I- I love you," I whispered as I grabbed his hand. "Don't go." He whirled around and hissed at me.
"Don't touch me," he snarled. "Where were you when I needed you, Paris? Where were you when I was screaming for your help?! You could have done so many other things than that! You did what you thought was better for you," he hissed then yanked his hand away from me. "You never once considered me!" He looked me over then shook his head as he clenched his jaw and balled up his hands, his body rigid.
"This isn't just about you," I whispered and started to tremble a little. "Why can't you see that this was about us? That little bit of torture is nothing compared to eternity. Don't walk away from me." He glared at me then opened the door.
"I'm very well aware," he hissed then walked out of the room. "But what's eternity if I can't even trust my partner?! You can stay away from me, Paris! You knew this would happen when you brought that evil man here, and you went through with it anyways!" He slammed the door behind him then stormed down the hall, muttering under his breath in anger. I frowned and went after him. I'm not going to let him leave!
"You're not leaving me!" I yelled out at him in anger and teleported to him. I grabbed his arms quickly and yanked him into a kiss. He yanked back from it and exposed his fangs before he bit down into my neck harshly and tore a chunk out. I growled quickly and bit down into his shoulder, ripping out a chunk. Two can play that game! "Whine all you want but I won't let you leave me. You're going to have to kill me or damn near get close to it," I hissed out in his ear. He looked at me out of the corner of his eyes then shoved me off of him, trembling. I can't kill him.... No matter what he has done to me... I can't.... He squared his shoulders then tilted his head up.
"You're not stopping me," he told me firmly then disappeared from my sight, his scent washing over me before it disappeared.
"R-Richard?" I asked softly and started to panic. "Th-that's not funny." I looked around for him quickly and felt my stone pulse for him. I couldn't see him anywhere or hear him. He really did leave me here- abandoned me. My stone didn't feel a pulse back from him, his absence making me tremble as it became clear to me that he was serious about this. He'd disappeared. "Richard!" I yelled out. "N-no...." He's not gone.... He's my mate! "You're not allowed to leave me!" I yelled and teleported into our bedroom. "Richard?" I was met with silence, our bedroom completely devoid of life. I could see our bed where we had spent countless nights together before this mess- thinking about our future together and frequently where Richard would constantly think about how much he loved me, especially when he met my eyes. He used to break out into a purr when I'd crawl into the bed with him and would pull me into his loving, warm embrace where I could easily fall asleep snuggled up to his chest. He had never once faltered in his love for me, never once left my side till now.
The doors to the balcony were left open with the white lace curtains he had picked for our bedroom billowing in from the slight breeze of France, causing the sheer curtains around our large bed to move ever so slightly, the only source of life in this otherwise silent and cold room. It had only been a while ago since I had forced him out of our bed and into that cold dark dungeon to be cleansed, the last night I had in his loving embrace with his stone that lived for mine. The world seemed a darker place without him as my stone despaired at his absence, his words fresh in my mind and the look of betrayal he had given me imprinted on my eyes. I had made him feel that way. If it wasn't for the steps I took, he would have been lying in our bed purring at me to join him. His fingers would have caressed my head and would have gotten tangled in my hair, and his arms would have found their way around me to pull me into his embrace. The joy and love would have shown in his eyes like it had every night before. He wouldn't have left me. He wouldn't have disappeared without a trace, wouldn't have yanked away from me. He was gone, and I had no clue where he was heading without me. I eyed over the bedroom before I found Grimm standing in a corner. He walked up to me as his eyes lingered over my body. There was a smug smirk on his face.
"What's the matter Paris?" He asked me. "Your precious mate didn't leave you, did he?" He asked me as he stopped just out of my reach.
"N-no, he wouldn't leave me," I whispered. "He's my mate."
"I saw everything. He left you, Paris. He left you because you betrayed him. Think about it~ Good mates wouldn't listen to others... they'd only listen to their mate.... He wanted your help and you ignored him. You betrayed him Paris." I tensed up as I eyed him over.
"You- you think that he's right?" I asked.
"Yes. He's your mate, he's always right." He gave me a serious look then. "You're filthy scum now. He's not going to want you... Not after what you just done. He's going to find another lover... and he's going to forget you. He's going to reject you as his mate... He's probably doing it right now," he whispered.
"I can hear it," I heard his voice echo close to my ear. "He's rejecting you right now... He's found a new mate to love," He whispered. I felt my stone ache and crack. I let out a small scream and trembled.
"No," I whispered and started to cry. "He's my soul mate."
"Then why would you betray him?" He asked me. I could feel his breath on my neck as his body in front of me disappeared. I felt hands trailing up my back and toward my shoulders. "You betrayed your mate... and now he'll never love you." I felt panic rising in me.
"N-never?" I asked. That's an awfully long time.
"No. You didn't love your parents after they betrayed you... Why should this be different?" He asked softly. "You have to remember... that he didn't love his parents either after they betrayed him. You betrayed him... He might even come kill you soon." His hands stopped at my shoulders and he started to rip off my shirt as he dug his nails into my skin and started to scratch my shoulders. "You're as good as dead now, Paris," he husked out. "Richard doesn't want you anymore." His words echoed in my mind like still water. There wasn't anything but his words to me. My stone started to settle in my chest as I listened to him. "You know I'm right," he whispered. "I wouldn't tell you a lie." It struck me hard like a cord and I fell backwards- hoping for his chest to catch me but I fell straight into the floor. The scratching stopped and I brought my hands up to me with a sharp hiss to see they were bloody. I've been scratching myself? Grimm leaned over me suddenly with a huge smile. "Have you been scratching yourself Paris?" He asked and tilted his head. He let out a tsking sound. "You know you're not supposed to do that." What's wrong with me? Why- Why didn't Richard stay with me? Was it that horrible? It was something so small... Something we could have gotten through together but he- he's not coming back now. I don't even know where he is. I felt a weight on my body suddenly as Grimm sat down on me and leaned over me. "That's right Paris... You've been a naughty boy. A bad mate." He ran his hand across my cheek. His touch soothed me somehow and I felt my eyes falling heavy. I felt my stone shake my body with another crack as images ran through my mind of Richard leaving me again. He left me... he's not coming back... Never. This hurts so much... Does Richard even feel anything? He hates me? He left because he doesn't.... love me. I trembled as my stone's roots pulled back slightly. I... don't... want... to... live.... without Richard. I felt Grimm's weight on me disappear. He left me too.
"Master Grimm?" I heard a maid ask softly as the door opened. "Would you like your tea in the parlor this morning?" I looked towards the door slowly before I closed my eyes. Why should I have tea? I betrayed my mate. I'm not worthy of tea or servants. "Master Grimm?" She came over to me quickly then knelt beside me, examining me before the sound of her heart sped up. "MISTRESS ROSE!"
"Yes?" I heard my sweet sister's voice answer from right outside the room. "Who's calling me?"
"Mademoiselle Rose!" The maid called out quickly and got to her feet, rushing over to the door. "It's Master Grimm! Something's wrong with him!" I heard my sister run into the room then- slipping past the maid.
"Paris?" I heard her ask in concern before I felt her cold and delicate hands touch my forehead. "Why're you lying on the floor? You're going to get sick like this." I felt her breath catch as her hands traveled down to my shoulders. "You've been scratching again," she hissed out. "Where's his jar at?!" She asked me and started to shake me. I eyed her over in a daze of sorrow. "Paris!" The maid walked up to Rose's side the frowned.
"Mademoiselle, should I go to the music room to find the jar? Master Grimm has been keeping it in there," she said and looked between the two of us in worry.
"Yes," Rose whispered as she eyed me over. "I'm going to need some advice," she mumbled before disappearing. The maid looked me over then helped me to my feet, taking me over to the bed before she laid me down in it and covered me up with a sweet smile.
"Master Paris, I'll have your tea brought to you in here. You get some rest... and I'll see about getting someone to donate their blood for you. Oh! I could fetch Aimery for you to spend time with you along with his older sister for her to donate," she suggested. "Remember Aimery? He adores you so much." I looked towards her and softened my expression. Aimery~ He's like a son to me... He's so adorable... I'm never going to have a son now... Richard left me. "Master Paris?" She whispered and rubbed my cheek, furrowing her eyebrows. "Are you alright? Why don't you speak?"
"See? I found him like this," I heard Rose's sweet voice again as she teleported back in front of me with Victor. Victor glanced me over then frowned before he studied me and leaned over my body. His eyes lingered on my neck before he pulled away and looked at Rose.
"Richard's stone is still in the jar?" He asked calmly. The maid widened her eyes and ran off to go get the jar. "He's been bit, don't you see? It's still healing." He pointed to the faint wound on my neck that had healed for the most part. "Odds are, Richard did it... and I do smell Richard on him. If you haven't seen him, he's probably left."
"Left?" Rose asked and looked me over. "Did he leave Paris?" She asked me. I felt my eyes start to water up at the thought.
"Paris did make him go through a horrible cleansing," Victor muttered and crossed his arms. "Come on, let's not talk about this in front of him. He's already out of it. We don't need to make it worse." She teared up as she eyed me over.
"Well we can't leave him alone," she whispered. "I'm going to go find a servant to watch over him." She suggested. "Meet me in his study?" She asked before leaving the room. Victor nodded and watched her go before he looked down at me and quickly sat down beside me.
"Paris," he whispered quickly. "You can't let this affect you like this. Your sister needs you. If anything, we can look for him and bring him back to you if he's left already. Come on, if you lay here, it's over. You have to do something, anything."
"I don't know where he went," I whispered softly and curled up, pressing my hand against my chest. "He left me Victor... and he doesn't want to come back." I grabbed the covers and yanked them over me and smelled his lingering scent on them. He yanked the covers away from me and hissed.
"Paris, you're a lot stronger than this. Go get him and bring him home to you and remind him who you are and who he is to you," he said then narrowed his eyes. "Paris, you started a revolution for him. You're not the kind of man to lay around and despair. You're the kind of man to fix it to what you want."
"It hurts so much," I whispered and sniffled. "He doesn't love me anymore... I betrayed him," I mumbled and closed my eyes.
"You were concerned about his health, weren't you? He does love you or else he would have rejected you officially," Victor told me then rubbed my head.
"Then why did he leave me?" I asked softly. "He said that... killing me wouldn't be enough for him- he wanted me to suffer." He frowned at me.
"He's hurt, Paris," he told me then sighed. "If he really... really didn't love you, he would have mate rejected you or killed you." He pulled his hand away from my head then got to his feet. "Get some rest.... I need to speak with your sister." I nodded and eyed over the ceiling. Is Victor right? Richard still loves? Does that mean he'll come back? Eventually? How long though? I heard him walk out then, gently shutting the door behind him before his footsteps echoed down the hall, leaving me in the room by myself.
It didn't take long for Aimery to bounce in on his little feet, jumping into the bed with a soft giggle as his sister shut the door behind her and walked over, bringing her hair over her shoulder calmly to expose her neck so she could feed me. "Pari~" Aimery sung out sweetly, his little voice chiming in delight. I looked him over and brought him into my arms quickly and leaned my face into his neck. He giggled and wrapped his arms around my head, leaning his head against mine then curled up. "I missed you~ Mommy has been busy lately, and daddy had to go to town to buy more food for the castle~" I gave a small purr and closed my eyes. I'm never letting him go... He better be comfortable. He squirmed in my arms then giggled before he tried to crawl over me. I let him go to do as he pleased and eyed him over. Fine... but he better not leave the bed. He looked around in excitement before he looked back towards me then smiled hugely before he went for the edge of the bed, looking towards my bookshelf. I eyed him over curiously. What's he doing? Why are children so adventurous? He got down from the bed then ran over to the shelf, going for his favorite book I sometimes read him then pulled it off, giggling as he almost dropped it from how heavy it was then raced back. He put it on the bed then climbed in and crawled over to me. He kissed my cheek and giggled. "Pari! Pari, Pari, Pari~" His sister watched her brother with a small frown and sat down on the edge of the bed, watching the two of us. I eyed him over before I looked towards the book.
"You read it to me," I whispered and rubbed his back. He looked at the book then widened his eyes before he blushed and looked at me.
"I... I don't know how," he admitted and bit his bottom lip.
"Really?" I asked curiously. "Tell my head butler to hire you a tutor with money from my treasure room," I told him firmly. "I don't want you not knowing how your whole life and I have too much money not to waste." He looked at me in shock before he giggled and broke out into a huge smile.
"Really? I'm going to learn to read?" He tackled me into a hug and started to shower my cheek in kisses. "Thank you, thank you, thank you! I love you, Pari!" I rubbed his back and held him close to me before I sat up slowly against the headboard and pulled the book into my lap.
"This will be the last time... and next time you'll be reading to me," I told him. He nodded and then crawled into my lap with the book with a sweet look.
"Yes, Pari," he whispered then leaned his head against my chest, holding onto my shirt as he nuzzled against me and sighed happily. "I love you," he murmured again, making his sister give him a strange look.
"I love you too," I whispered to him and ran my fingers through his hair to fix it. He grabbed my hand then gave it a small kiss before he held it and then turned my palm up towards him, looking at the lines running across it curiously then looked up at me in wonder, his little eyes bright in happiness. I eyed him over before I smiled and looked down at the book to start reading it to him. This is a thick book... and I don't know if I have the energy for all of it. He looked at the letters on the page then leaned against my chest as he watched me read to him, his little brain trying to figure out how it all worked before he frowned and tugged on the bottom of his shirt, playing with it as he got confused. I laughed and placed my index finger under what I read to try to show him where I was on the page. Maybe he'll recognize the symbols when they repeat. He looked at my finger then relaxed a little as he watched my finger move along the page before he stopped me and put his own little finger under the words and hesitated.
"W... wh... which... big... e-ears... y-you... ha... ha... ve have," he murmured, trying it himself.
"What big ears you have," I told him as I ran his fingers back over the words. He blushed and looked up at me then at the book before he studied the sentence and nodded.
"What big ears you have," he repeated back to me, looking at the word what in particular then leaned back against my chest and grinned in satisfaction. I smirked and pointed out the first letter of the alphabet.
"A," I told him. "There are twenty-six letters you have to know in order to read and 'A' is the first." He looked it over then giggled.
"A," he said then looked for another one, finding it in the word hear in the next sentence and pointed to it. His sister frowned as she watched us and looked at Aimery curiously.
"Very good," I whispered to him as I started to teach him myself a few more letters since he was so curious. After we got to the letter F, he started to look a little tired as he did his best to remember the other ones. His sister scooted closer then rubbed Aimery's head before she patted his shoulder.
"Aimery, why don't you take a break and let our master rest?" She suggested to him then started to pull him out of my lap. He gave a whine then looked towards me, reaching for me as his eyes teared up.
"Nuh-uh, I want to stay with Pari," he insisted, making her frown.
"Master Paris," she corrected him then kissed the top of his head.
"He can stay as long as he wants," I told her. She tensed then looked at me.
"Master Paris, we really don't want to be a bother to yo-" Aimery got loose from her grip then crawled over to me quickly, getting in my lap as he clung to me. "Aimery," she hissed lightly towards him.
"Aimery is fine. He's not a bother," I told her and rubbed his head. She gave me an uneasy look then looked down at Aimery in concern. This goes against everything I've been taught.... Aren't servants supposed to serve their masters professionally? Aimery won't learn to not cling to Master Paris if he keeps this up.... He'll never learn.
"How about you take him to his room... He looks tired anyways," I decided to ease her mind. She looked up at me sharply then frowned before she nodded and reached for Aimery, going to take him away from me but he started to cry and shook his head, pushing at her hands to keep her from getting a grip on him. "Come back for him when he's asleep," I whispered to her. She sighed then gave a nod.
"Yes, master Paris," she said then looked at me before she sat up and took a deep breath. "They said you might be hungry.... Would you like me to feed you before I go?"
"No," I told her quickly. She nodded then got to her feet before she quietly walked out of the room and shut the door behind her. Aimery watched her go then sniffled as he looked up at me then buried his face into my chest. I closed my eyes quickly and rubbed his head. He relaxed after a few minutes then looked up at me.
"Pari" he whispered then wrapped his arms around my neck, clinging to me before he gave a cute yawn. "Can't I stay in here with you?"
"If you want... I don't mind," I told him softly. He gave me the sweetest smile I've ever seen then nuzzled his head against my chest before he giggled and curled up into my arms.
"I love you~" He whispered and closed his eyes. I kissed the top of his head quickly.
"I love you too," I whispered to him. He sighed softly then slowly began to relax as he stayed curled up against me, slowly falling asleep in my arms as he nodded off. He looked so innocent like that... sleeping peacefully in my arms as his little fingers stayed curled in my shirt, holding onto me like a little angel. I eyed him over before I let my eyes shut. I just wish Richard was with me right now... So, he could see this angel on me.
Rose's POV:
Victor crossed his legs calmly in Paris's seat behind his desk then looked at the empty jar between us then at me. "So... he's back," Victor said then smirked. "I wonder what he's up to.... You know he won't stay away for too long." I nodded and crossed my legs.
"Who knows what he's doing... I can't believe he'd just leave my brother though... They've been through a lot. That's not going to be the ruin of them..." I trailed off as I eyed him over. "What're we going to do about this?" I asked softly.
"We can't do much," he told me then purred. "All we can do is watch it play out.... We'll keep an eye out for Richard in the world, and we'll try to convince Paris it's not the end. That's all we can really do. It's up to them what happens between them. They're soul mates. I don't think that fate would have paired them together if they weren't going to be together in the end. Fate doesn't work that way. They'll find each other again, but they'll be older and more mature, maybe wiser... and they'll have a deeper relationship than before," Victor told me then sipped on the glass of blood in front of him. "If they don't get back together... Paris will fall into a pit of despair for a while... and maybe find a way to move on... but I highly doubt that Richard won't come back to him at some point. They've been inseparable for so long." He laughed then like he was remembering something. "Watch over Paris. I'll keep an eye out for Richard. This won't be the end."
"Well... if you find out about where he is, we should tell Paris. That'll give him something," I whispered. "Knowing where he is might make him go after him." Victor nodded then looked the jar over.
"I wonder what kind of a state he's in. You know... I met someone interesting," he whispered then looked at me. "I don't know if Laurence would be happy with me telling you though... not yet."
"What do you mean you met someone interesting?" I asked and raised an eyebrow. "Who?"
"The prince of Wales," he told me and leaned forward with a smirk. "You should look into him, Rose." I giggled and leaned in towards him.
"Oh? Is he that interesting? More than you?" I asked.
"Hmmm... let's just say that if you ever meet him, you'll be surprised," he told me and chuckled. "Eventually you will... but you might not realize it's him until much later." I nodded and eyed him over. He must be very impressive for Victor to want to bring him up. "You could always ask Laurence yourself about him. He might tell you... but you can always find out a few things by looking into the prince of Wales's family history~ Paris will be interested to know about the prince eventually- just not yet."
"So..." I trailed off. "You want me to look into his family history? Do you think he's got something in his bloodline like we do?"
"Oh yes, he does," he said and winked at me. I nodded and laughed.
"Wow.... There's a lot of fake purebloods out there. You're getting rarer by the day, Victor."
"That's just how I like it," he told me and smirked then leaned forward a little more. "You could always... ask Grimm about him. Grimm has met him." I raised an eyebrow at him. "Grimm?" I asked. "Why can't I just ask you? You've met him."
"Because it's not my business to tell you," he told me and sat back in his seat then laughed. "Besides, it's going to be funny to watch the future play out. There's a lot coming, Rose." I nodded and smiled.
"You make things so complicated." I eyed him over before I giggled. "What about your future?"
"My future? There's not much in it coming I'd imagine," he told me and chuckled. "I get to watch all of this~" He said and gestured around him. "I get a front row seat." I nodded and sighed.
"If that's the future you want," I whispered. He watched me for a few minutes then smirked.
"I will tell you this~ I'm planning on making my country stronger and uniting it better under my rule... and I'm thinking about throwing a ball at some point in the next century. I might go see what all the excitement is about that new America they found," he told me and laughed. "It sounds interesting, but I'll wait until there's a decent settlement over there."
"Oh~ That sounds fun. You should take Val and Laurence with you," I suggested. "They'd love that."
"I was planning on it actually," he told me and winked before he frowned then tapped the desk. "Dante has been acting strangely lately. Do you remember him from when you were little? He's the prince of Germany." I nodded and laughed.
"Yes, I remember him. Do you think he's found someone special?" I asked curiously.
"No, not yet..." he whispered then frowned. "He's been building up his country lately. He built an army of newborns to keep around and has been training with them. I don't think he plans to go to war, but he's definitely trying to make his country intimidating."
"He's ruling an intimidating country," I warned him. "He might want to expand like all of us." He laughed then and pulled out a bottle of vodka from in his jacket and took a swig of it.
"Expanding would be nice~" He purred out and looked his bottle over.
"We just need to know when to stop because we can only handle so much... I'm probably going to have to take over until Paris is better," I whispered softly and sighed.
"I could advise you," he suggested and smirked, leaning forward again and held the bottle out. "Want some~? It's wonderful!" I eyed over the bottle before I took it and smelled inside it.
"That doesn't smell wonderful. It smells like poison," I warned him.
"Psh, take a sip," he told me and gave me a playful look, exposing his fangs. I eyed over the bottle before I took a sip from it and made a face quickly. He laughed then purred at me. "Drink more of it~" He chuckled and pulled out another bottle, starting to chug it. I frowned and sat the bottle down.
"No.... I'll stick to wine."
"You Frenchie," he teased me and sat his bottle down. "Go get a bottle then~"
"Why? Are you trying to get me drunk?" I asked him.
"Yes," he told me and smirked. "I'm curious to see what you'll do, Rose. Will you go crazy... or will you giggle till you can't breathe.... or will you cry... or will we be two peas in a pod?"
"You'd love to know, wouldn't you? Just like my fangs~" I exposed them to him quickly. He looked them over then leaned over the desk, knocking the jar out of the way before he snatched the front of my dress and pulled me to him with a purr.
"Why don't you use them, Rose?" He asked and winked. I purred in delight and crawled over the desk quickly and into his lap before I bit down into his neck quickly. He gave a soft moan then rubbed my back before I felt his fangs graze my neck as he gave me a playful growl. I growled back at him and bit down harder. Growling back, he sunk his fangs down into my neck and started to drink my blood with a slight purr, wrapping his arms around me. I slowly pulled my fangs out of his neck and licked my lips. He just wanted to bite me. He pulled back from my neck and looked towards me before he eyed my fangs over and smirked. "I love your fangs," he teased me. "They're the perfect length, and they're sharp. You should use them more often."
"You think so?" I asked him and smirked. "I use them enough already."
"Heh, I never see you use them," he told me then gave a playful purr as he raised an eyebrow.
"I only use them on my servants," I admitted.
"See, I knew there was something up about it," he purred then leaned over and kissed my cheek. "I knew you didn't use your fangs like me yet~" He growled then leaned in towards my throat before he placed his fangs over it and playfully went to bite down but stopped last second. I yanked away quickly and blushed. He watched me and purred before he smirked and showed off his fangs to me then reached behind me for his bottle. I grabbed his hand quickly and smirked as I entwined our fingers together. He purred and looked towards our hands then up at me before he rubbed the small of my back with his free hand and gave my hand that was holding a slight squeeze. I smiled at him before I took his bottle with my free hand and took a sip from it. He chuckled as he watched me then smirked before he leaned in and lingered his lips by my neck and rubbed my hand with his thumb. I purred and took another sip of the vodka. Suddenly, he moved in closer and bit down deep into my neck, sinking his sharp fangs in as a loud purr erupted from him. I purred and poured some of the vodka down his shirt quickly. He gasped then yanked back before he growled at me and narrowed his eyes, licking his lips clean. I giggled and got up quickly before I took a swig out of the bottle. "Where ya going?" He called out then got up, coming after me with a chuckle. I laughed and kept backing up.
"Nowhere," I told him and smirked. "What about you?"
"After you~" He reached over and snatched me by my waist, yanking me to him. I smirked and eyed him over.
"Me?" I asked and giggled.
"Yeah, you~ Do you see anyone else in here?" He asked me then leaned in and kissed my cheek before he began to hum and made us sway to the song. I giggled as I followed after his footsteps.
"I thought I saw a shadow man," I told him.
"A shadow man?" He asked and smirked before he eyed me over. "Did he scare you into a fright? I find that the shadow men are fun to play with~ They go away when night comes though."
"Well if you walk out into the moonlight they're still here," I whispered.
"That's true but so are the wolves," he murmured then leaned in and kissed my neck.
"Wolves aren't that bad."
"No... they're fun... but their bites can kill us," he whispered then pulled me a little closer.
"I know... Beautiful but deadly," I whispered and eyed him over. "We're just as deadly." He smirked against my neck then scrapped his fangs against me as he purred.
"Deadly... huh?"
"Very," I purred out before I leaned in towards his neck and kissed it. He stopped swaying with me then pulled back from my neck and looked me in the eyes before his eyes glanced down to my lips before he looked back up into my eyes then purred, going for the bottle. I smirked and took a swig of it as I backed away from him. "No," I told him. He gasped at me playfully then growled, coming for the bottle.
"No? I don't get a drink?" He asked and reached for it.
"No," I told him and took off running with it. "This is mine."
"Rose!" He called out then smirked as he teleported in front of me and trapped me, backing us up. I felt the back of my legs hit the couch in Paris's study before I fell down and he smirked, sitting beside me as he reached for the bottle. I smirked and held it away from him.
"Yes?" I asked him.
"Bottle?" He asked and smirked, leaning in towards me as he gave me a playful look as he kept his hand out for it.
"No," I told him quickly. He's probably got another one in his jacket. He smirked and eyed me over before he leaned in slowly towards my face.
"No?" He purred out.
"No," I whispered as I eyed him over. "You heard me."
"No?" He whispered back, his breath hitting my lips. I nodded and smiled as I eyed his face over.
"No." He watched me then leaned in a little more before he kissed my cheek.
"Well... that's too bad," he murmured. I smiled and leaned in, giving him a kiss on the cheek.
"Too sad," I whispered. His eyes lingered on me before he cleared his throat and started to pull away from me. I eyed him over and took a sip from the vodka as he did.
"Dance with me," he suggested and got to his feet with a purr, holding his hand out to me. I sat the bottle down quickly and took his hand before I stood up and stumbled into his arms. He laughed and pulled me to him before he started to dance with me around the room. "Whatever happened to Vlad? I haven't seen him around. He usually gets angry when I get this close to you."
"I'm not sure.... One day he just left," I whispered. "I haven't seen him since. Maybe he went home to Transylvania."
"Hmm..." he hummed out then smirked. "Good, it means that I get to dance with you all I want," he joked and purred at me. I nodded and moved closer to him.
"Well~ I want to see Russia."
"You do?" He asked and chuckled. "Maybe after a month," he suggested. "Stay with Paris for right now so that way he won't feel too uprooted from his normal way of life.... We'll have Laurence watch him when you come to Russia... unless you want to send him Laurence's way now and come back with me to my castle."
"Well I want to see Russia," I whispered. "Is it colder than winter?" I asked curiously.
"Oh yes," he told me and purred. "There's snow on the ground in some places already," he told me then kissed my cheek. "I'll make preparations for you to come stay in my castle for a month if you'd like as long as Laurence will be able to watch Paris... unless...." He paused and looked down at me with a curious look. "Do you think Paris would benefit from the change in scenery? He might benefit from coming with you to Russia... unless you don't want him to. Laurence would always accept Paris into his home I believe."
"I don't think Paris has ever been to Russia... He might enjoy it," I purred out and giggled. "It might get him excited over it if we tell him we're all going to Russia."
"Then..." he smirked and got down on his knee and grabbed my hand. "Would you and your brother accompany me back to my homeland to spend some time with me in my lovely castle~? I would be very much be delighted to entertain you with my hospitality." He winked at me and purred. I purred and pulled him up and into a hug.
"Yes," I whispered to him. "Thank you, Victor. I can't wait to know more about you and your home."
"No problem! I must go home first though to prepare for you. I don't want the castle to be overly cold when you and your brother arrive...."
"Thank you for being thoughtful," I purred out to him.
"What's your favorite meal? Or would you prefer me to surprise you?"
"Surprise me," I hummed out to him.
"I'll tell the maids then," he whispered then hugged me before he pulled back and spun me. "I'll have you and your brother placed in rooms close to mine so you can find me easily if need be. I'll make them your permanent guest rooms." I nodded and smiled as I eyed him over.
"I'll tell my maids to pack for a... week's stay. Then I'll let Paris know where we're going... if he's awake."
"Alright, fair enough," he hummed out and smirked before he lingered by me then leaned in and gently kissed my forehead. "I'll be back soon~" I nodded and purred.
"Hurry back," I whispered as I kissed his neck. He looked at me then purred before he brushed my hair over my ear.
"I will," he promised then leaned in slightly towards me before he gave a playful growl. I tsked and took a step back and smiled at him.
"I'll see you then," I whispered. I don't think we've ever been alone together.... He smirked then winked before he disappeared from my sight. I frowned and eyed over where he was last. I smiled softly before I skipped off towards the hall to go find a maid.
