C60: A Dozen Kits

Victor's POV:

I groaned as I held six leashes in each hand, twelve in all. "Kids! Behave!" I growled out and tried to pull all of them closer to me. Trick's children- his twelve children- were now in their sixth year of life, and yes, there's no way I could leave them at home.... Trick would have thrown a fit. I looked them over then tsked. "I have mushrooms for the most behaved of you all," I called out, catching most of their attentions from the people they were going after. Here we are, me with twelve little foxes, one young adult fox, and an old geezer of a fox at a little six-year old's birthday ball.... I'll be lucky if no one tells me that they've suddenly noticed their missing their jewels. At least they're adorable. I felt a hand slip into my pocket suddenly as one of the leashes seemed to be loose in my hand instead of tight and away from me.

"Mushroom," I heard one of them mumbling. I frowned and looked down at the little guy sharply.

"Hey, hands out of my pockets," I scolded then purred quickly, noticing who it was. My little runt~ "One," I told him quickly and smirked. "My lil' cutie~"

"Bless you," my little runt giggled out up to me as he stole a mushroom from my pocket and ate it quickly. Milaya, the runt from the litter looked up at me before reaching up to crawl into my arms. "I want up," he told me. "Vverkh!" He called out to me in Russian. He was a cutie~ He had honey colored eyes and his father's red fur with black tips on the end of his ears and tail. He wagged his tail as he moved his fingers up at me to get my attention. "Vverkh!" I smirked and bent down to let him up into my arms and held him as I looked towards his troublemaking siblings and tugged them closer to me and sighed.

"Trick! Can't you take a few of them?" I asked, looking for him quickly. "I've got all twelve!" I tensed as I noticed my only black fox sniffing a glass of wine on a table nearby. He reached for it and gasped as his red tipped ears twitched. "Koda!" I hissed sharply, making him yelp and put his hands behind his back as he looked towards me innocently.

"Y-yes daddy," he said and walked away from it as he whined. I tsked and then looked for Trick again.

"Cut them loose," I heard Trick suggested from next to me as he sipped on a glass of wine. "This is the perfect chance to not have to watch them." He eyed over Milaya and then lowered his ears. "You big baby," he said in a teasing tone. "You can walk on your own, what are you doing in his arms?"

"Ostavant' sya vysoko," Milaya told him. Trick lowered his ears a little in confusion.

"Staying high up," Milaya said softly.

"Victor, why'd you teach my babies Russian?" He hissed at me.

"It's not my fault if they picked up on it easier than you," I said and smirked as I looked the babies over, checking out which leash went to which fox. "Let's see...." I made sure none of them had pockets today.... It should be fine. I'll release the ones that I know aren't that cunning.... I'll keep the real bad troublemakers. I whistled then, catching all their attentions and watched as they came rushing towards me eagerly. I knelt and undid about seven of their leashes, watching as they immediately took off and giggled as they raced off in different directions and started to pester the other purebloods. I looked at the four that remained on the ground then smirked. My three albinos and Koda plus Milaya because there's no way I'd let him run loose when he belongs in my arms. I switched the albinos to my now free hand and kept Koda and Milaya in the other. "There we go. I have the troublemakers and my little sweetheart~"

"Why can't we run free?" One of my albinos asked and pouted as she laid her ears down. "I'll be good!" She promised me. It was Beda. I frowned at her then sighed, undoing her leash.

"Don't steal anything," I warned her. Koda widened his eyes then ran in front of the other two albinos quickly with a whine.

"Unleash me," he begged and flattened his ears. I frowned at him.

"No way," I told him and got up quickly. He whined and started to bounce before he growled and grabbed at my pants, tugging on them.

"Unleash me, unleash me, unleash me!" He cried out then sniffled before he started to bawl at my feet. "I wanna run around with my siblings!" I tensed and looked at him then shoved a mushroom into his mouth to quiet him as a few purebloods glanced my way. Beda giggled and ran off as fast as she could towards the others. I frowned and watched her then started to drag my two albinos, and Koda with me as I headed for where Paris was to greet him and see Donnie. I put on a huge smile as I reached them then put Koda's leash into my other hand with the albinos before I gave Paris a hug.

"Paris~ it's been a long time," I told him and smirked then looked down at Donnie. "Hello Donnie~ you've gotten so big," I purred out to him and kneeled down to be on eyelevel with him. "Remember me? I'm your uncle Victor~" Koda whined and tugged on his leash before he threw himself on the ground and gnawed at it.

"N-no," Donnie said and giggled as he eyed me over before looking at my foxes as his eyes widened slightly. "Why do you have so many foxes?"

"Because we were born together and my mommy didn't want to separate us," one of my other albinos said. It was Molniya. He gave him a sweet- but also mysterious look as he went towards him. Donnie widened his eyes and backed up quickly.

"Why're you on a leash?" Donnie asked softly.

"Because they're troublemakers and foxes like to steal things," I told him calmly as I yanked him back away from Donnie and shorted all their leashes. Koda whined quickly then yanked on his leash before he growled. He suddenly shifted into his tiny fox form and yanked on his leash again. I frowned as I looked him over and shortened his leash some more, dragging his furry butt towards me. He was a gorgeous fox- his fur being black with a reddish tint to it and red tips on his tail and ears where his fur was slightly longer- but I wish he wasn't such a troublemaker. He whined and lowered his ears as he found it hard to move on his shorter leash then gnawed on his leash some more, sneezing. Donnie giggled a little as he watched.

"They're my age- or close, aren't they?" He asked in excitement.

"Yes, they were born shortly after you," I told him then purred before I looked him over. "Want to play with one for a little bit? They love to play, but you have to watch anything shiny that you might have."

"There's nothing in my pockets," he told me. "Can I play with them all?" I gave him a thoughtful look then nodded.

"Alright~" I undid all their leashes and put the leashes in my pockets. Koda looked around in delight then bounced towards Molniya quickly with a playful growl as he laid his ears back and wagged his tail. Molniya giggled and tackled Koda quickly, pouncing on him as he turned into his little white fox form to take him on. I purred as I watched and then tensed as their little scuffle took them right towards Donnie, knocking him over. Koda yelped as he winded up on Donnie's chest then looked down into his eyes before he wagged his tail quickly and started to sniff him, probably searching for food. Donnie giggled before pushing him off and eyed him over before getting to his feet quickly as he eyed him over.

Donnie's POV:

The little black fox looked up at me and then wagged his tail as he gave me a mischievous look and jumped for my shoes, getting ahold of my shoelaces and started to tug on them as he wagged his pretty tail. Victor laughed in front of me and got to his feet, whistling as he walked off with that little fox boy in his arms and ditched me with the two albinos and the black fox.

"W-what, where are you going Uncle Victor?" I asked and frowned. That's not fair, I asked for all the foxes....

"What?" He asked and paused, looking down at me. "There's twelve of them if you're wanting them all to play with...."

"I want them all. I don't have kids my age to play with," I told him and giggled. "All." He raised an eyebrow then let out a high-pitched whistle. I heard quick yips before there was a ton of children swarming him with fox ears and tails.

"Look~ there's the birthday boy~ go play with him," he purred out then watched as they looked at me then giggled, coming for me. Victor walked up and started to dump a ton of mushrooms in my hands. "Those are their treats. They'll go nuts for them," he told me and smirked as he walked off with just one of the foxes- the one that had been in his arms the whole time. I eyed the one in his hands over and tilted my head a little before giggling and held out the mushrooms.

"Who wants some?" I asked them. They all giggled and tried to snatch them out of my hands but that little black fox beat them to it, scarfing them down as he tried to take them all from me. I frowned and held them over my head quickly to stop him from eating them all.

"Whoa, hog! Save some for your siblings," I warned. He let out a whine and lowered his ears as he looked up at them then yelped as his siblings shoved him to the back and knocked me over, stealing the mushrooms from me as they giggled. I giggled as I gave them the mushrooms, trying to be even with it. As soon as the mushrooms were gone, they giggled and went to run off from me, chasing each other as a few of the boys tried to grab the girls by their tails with playful growls. The black fox looked at me and sulked as he sat down and eyed over my empty hands, licking his lips. I eyed him over before giggling.

"Whoa, they ditched quickly," I mumbled. He shifted back into a handsome boy about my age and frowned at me as he sat there, curling his tail. His hair was a pretty black and his eyes were a warm brown that made my stone pulse.

"Of course, they ran off," he mumbled and whined as he flattened his ears. "You gave them mushrooms and you don't have anymore because you gave them all away."

"Well they wanted them," I mumbled. He looked me over then smirked before he got to his feet and came up, knocking me over then giggled as he smelled me then started to check out my pockets.

"My name is Koda~ What's yours?" He asked me sweetly as he searched me.

"Donnie," I told him softly and knocked his hands away from my pockets. "Don't do that." He looked at me innocently then grabbed my hands before he nuzzled his head against me.

"Happy birthday," he said and giggled.

"Thank you," I whispered and rubbed his ears curiously. He gasped and curled up on me quickly, a small moan escaping him as he closed his eyes and gripped my tux. He yipped at me and wagged his tail as he nuzzled his head into my hand for more, practically begging for my attention. I giggled and rubbed his ears before trailing one of my hands down to his tail and rubbed it curiously. He gasped and buried his face into my chest as he blushed and flicked his ears as he gave another small moan and nuzzled his head up under my chin as he let me have his tail. I let his tail go as I lost interest and went to get up with him. He giggled and kept me down before he looked me over and started to tickle my sides. I squirmed and gave him a huge frown.

"Stop it," I begged and grabbed his hands. He pouted then pulled his hands away from me and got to his feet. He looked me over then helped me up as he perked his ears up.

"Donnie-"

"Paris," I heard a voice say coldly as a dark-haired man approached my mommy. He glanced him over then looked down at me then smirked. "So, you're Donnie," he said but his smirk faded. "You look so much like Paris." He glanced behind him then pulled a man closer to him. "Walter, come meet Paris and his son, Donnie~" I giggled and ran up to him before holding out my hand.

"Hi~!" I eyed him over curiously. I felt my mom's hand grab my hand though before I could reach the man.

"Dante~!" My mom purred out. "This is my son, Donnie."

"I can see that," Dante said and raised an eyebrow, staring at my mom then smirked. "I hope you don't mind. I received an invitation and thought it would be a great idea to bring Walter with me."

"It was a great idea," my mom purred out and gave a huge smile. "It's about time you've come to see me."

"It's about damn time you fucking invited me," he muttered under his breath.

"You were always welcomed," my mom told him firmly. Dante clenched his jaw as he looked at him.

"Sure," he said then looked at me before he relaxed and gave me a small smile. "So little rascal, I got you a present before I came~" He pulled out a box then handed it to me. "There~ I hope you like it." I eyed over the box before opening it up curiously and gave him a huge smile in the process. Inside was a ton of paints with some brushes accompanying it. He looked at me then purred. "Thought you might want to learn to paint." He smirked and knelt down to be on eye level with me. "I hope you become a great painter, kiddo."

"T-thank you, I will," I told him and gave him a huge smile before I hugged him. He tensed and froze up before he looked up at my mom sharply. I heard Koda give a small whine as he watched. I let him go and showed my mom the present I got from Dante. "Look what I got," I told him.

"That's cool sweetie," my mom purred out.

"I thought a violin would be too cliché to get him," Dante muttered and got to his feet. "His father is probably trying to teach him piano." He grabbed Walter's hand then and squeezed it before he nodded at my mom then started to walk off calmly, heading for Victor. I eyed him over curiously.

"Go show your daddy what you got," my mom suggested and smiled sweetly at me. I giggled and ran up to my dad quickly to show him. He looked at me as I approached then purred, pausing in playing the piano.

"Hey kiddo~ what's that?" He asked and looked at the box in my hands then at me. "Did somebody bring you something?" I could hear Koda running off to go play as I left to go to my daddy.

"Yes, Dante gave me some art supplies," I told my daddy. "So, mommy told me to show you it." He nodded and purred as he lifted me up onto the piano bench with him.

"Art supplies? I guess this means I better get you an easel and some canvases, huh," he said and smirked. "Are you going to make portraits of mommy with those art supplies?" I heard a small giggle before Koda started back for me with a playful look.

"UH-huh, do you know Uncle Victor has twelve baby foxes that are my age?" I asked him and giggled. "One of them is named Koda and I think we're going to be good friends... So, can he start spending nights with me?" He raised an eyebrow then glanced behind me towards Koda.

"Is that him? Well..." He smirked then and looked down at me. "Sure kiddo, he can start staying over with you as long as you both behave, okay? You need some friends your age, and it looks like he wants to play with you~ Hell, maybe we'll just take him in, huh?" He teased me and touched my nose. "Victor has twelve~ I'm sure he won't miss one."

"I don't want to separate him from his siblings though," I said softly.

"Hmm, then he can visit his siblings and have playdates with them," he purred out and scooped me up into his arms, hugging me. "He's in such a big family that he probably doesn't get much individual attention."

"B-but he's my age! I don't think he wants to run away from his family just yet," I whispered softly. "I would miss you if I left you at my age." He smirked at me then and kissed the top of my head.

"Their kind are normally separated from their parents in captivity anyways," he told me and rubbed my back. "They're sold as pets. Victor just likes to hoard them, so he bred his first fox. I'm sure he wouldn't mind if you asked him sweetly enough for Koda. Koda is so young he might not know the difference when he's older if you show him lots of love now."

"But- but I know so he would have to know," I whispered and frowned. "I'm not taking him away from his family."

"Well, if you don't want to keep him, then I guess I won't be asking Victor for him later," dad sighed out and gave me another kiss on the top of my head. "Koda can spend the night every once in a while, but you're not going to see him as often. You two live on completely different continents. You'd probably only see him once every few months."

"That's fine with me. It's better than never," I told him and giggled before I looked at Koda. He's trying to sneak up on me. He froze up as he saw me looking at him then grinned before he ran towards me and pounced onto the bench, coming for me with a playful growl. I giggled and rubbed his ears.

"I asked my dad if you could come over more often and he said yes. We're going to be friends." He gasped and then knocked me off the piano bench, nuzzling his head into my chest.

"F-friends?" He asked and looked up at me in excitement before he started to wag his tail with a sweet look. "You wanna be my friend?"

"Sure! You're my age so we should." He giggled and kissed my cheek quickly, laying his ears back as he wrapped his arms around me then leaned in towards my ear and started to gnaw on it gently. I giggled and shoved him off quickly. "Ew! That's my ear!" I eyed him over before placing my gift on top of the piano to get later and got off the bench. I heard my father start to play again, making the room fill up with a bouncy waltz as he laughed under his breath at us. Koda looked at me and gave me a playful look as he snatched my hand and yanked me towards him.

"I'll sneak you home with me~" He said and giggled as he kissed my cheek again. "Grandpa Victor won't notice an extra kid~"

"T-that's okay... I have my own parents," I told him. He frowned and squeezed my hand then.

"You don't want to spend time with me?" He asked and lowered his ears.

"I do, but I don't want to run away from my family. I'll ask them if it's okay first and then ask your grandpa Victor." He tsked and then let go of my hand, looking me over before he glanced around then eyed over the food tables. He perked his ears up then started for them with an excited look, gasping as he wagged his tail as he ran. I eyed him over before walking after him. He's very destructive.... I guess it's because of the large family he's in. He stopped as he reached the table then sniffed at the food curiously, his tail shaking before he looked at the plates and grabbed one. He put some meat on his plate then ran for the sweets, piling tons of it on his plate. He giggled and sunk into the floor, starting to eat as he shoved a cookie into his mouth and looked at the older people dancing a few feet away- a few of his siblings had started to dance too... in their own ways. I walked up to Koda before fixing myself a plate of food, trying to be healthy as I thought about what my mom would say if she caught me with a plate of only sweets. Koda looked towards me and giggled as he reached up for me when I finished making a plate and yanked me down beside him. He leaned in and kissed my cheek before he breathed in my scent and giggled.

"You smell really good," he told me and then started to crawl into my lap.

"T-thanks," I told him and pushed him away before he could get into my lap. "Don't do that, we're at my birthday ball." He whined and looked at me then shoved a cookie into my mouth.

"You're such a stinkpot for rules," he grumbled. "Eat a cookie. It'll make you feel better." I chewed up the cookie and swallowed it before eyeing him over.

"You're a big troublemaker," I teased lightly. He smirked at me and giggled.

"I'm not a big troublemaker. I'm just a cute little fox~" He kissed my cheek and wrapped his arms around me. "You do smell better than anyone I've ever smelled before- even better than Victor."

"I'm a cutie, that's why," I told him proudly. He giggled and tried to get into my lap again.

"Let's be cuties together~"

"S-stop," I told him and frowned as I gave him my plate of food. "Don't get in my lap."

"Why not?" He whined and lowered his ears.

"Because we're foxes and he's a vampire," I heard a small feminine voice say from behind us before she giggled. A little red eared fox girl came out and gave Koda a playful look. "We're all lucky Grandpa Victor hasn't sold any of us yet. That's how he got daddy and Polar- he bought them from other vampires, and we were bred."

"He wouldn't sell you," I mumbled softly. She looked towards me then played with her curly hair.

"Maybe, maybe not," she whispered then smirked. "Either way, we're not like you. We don't have fangs. We change forms.... We have strange tails and ears-"

"Wisty, hush," Koda said and frowned at her. "You're so weird! Go play with the other girls. I'm playing with him. You're going to make him feel funny about us! We're not that different from him!"

"Yeah, stop talking like that," I told her quickly. She frowned at me then ran off quickly. Koda watched her go then hugged me quickly.

"Don't mind her! She's just the weird one of our litter," he told me and whined. "She's weird and reads a lot of books." He kissed my cheek and then put another cookie into my mouth. I frowned and grabbed his hand.

"Stop feeding me," I whined out and pushed his hand away. "I can feed myself." He yanked his hand away and frowned, starting to eat his own cookies as he put his plate in his lap. He finished eating his food quickly and put the plate where the dirty ones were on the table before he glanced the room over and giggled, getting to his feet and running towards a window. He wagged his tail as he reached it then got up on the windowsill and looked outside curiously, gasping in awe as he curled up against the wall and the sill. I eyed him over before following him.

"Koda, let's play together," I told him. He glanced at me then giggled.

"Play in here?" He asked me then turned to face me, wagging his tail. "What do you want to play? We could play hide and seek. You don't have to touch someone for that."

"I don't know... Hide and seek might not be a good idea. I'm supposed to be here." I eyed him over and gave a sweet smile. He frowned and then looked outside, lowering his ears.

"I guess... we could play... cops and robbers in here," he mumbled and blushed a little at the thought.

"Koda!" I heard Victor call out, sounding like he was looking for him. "Shit, I'm only counting eleven. KODA!" Koda yelped and looked in the direction of Victor's voice before he quickly got off the windowsill.

"Over here!" He called out and yipped a little.

"Okay sweetie, stay where I can see you!" Koda pouted and flicked his ears.

"See, you better stay in his sight," I purred out. He looked at me then tsked.

"You can't really play anything in here," he whined. "There's too many adults... and we're both dressed up." He tugged at his suit and gave a frustrated groan as he pouted. "I'm gonna suffocate!"

"Take off a layer," I told him and snatched his coat off him. He yelped and then giggled as he watched me. He looked his long-sleeved shirt over then started to roll the sleeves up to his elbows and tugged on his black suspenders before he looked at me and reached for me.

"They won't get onto me for not having on my coat?" He asked me and gave me the sweetest look ever.

"No," I told him and smiled. "If you get hot it's not a sin to take off a layer." I took off my coat then to show him. He nodded then giggled as he hugged me.

"I haven't been to one of these things before," he told me and blushed. "This is my first party."

"Well you're not doing too well so far. I'm the birthday boy and you've already tried to sit on me and feed me."

"What's wrong with sitting on you?" He asked and frowned, pulling back a little. He lowered his ears quickly and shrunk back.

"I barely know you for one thing," I told him. "Secondly it's informal to do at a formal event." He frowned but nodded.

"F-fine," he whispered before he tensed and looked towards a woman as she passed. He looked at her wrist and widened his eyes as the bracelet caught his attention. "W-whoa," he whispered then smirked but froze and tore his attention back to me. "I'll try to be more formal with you, Donnie."

"Behave too. Don't take things that aren't yours." He gasped then.

"I haven't taken anything yet," he told me then gave me a hurt look. "Think I'd steal," he grumbled and looked away from me.

"I don't think. I know you would. I've been warned and I saw how you tried with the mushrooms from me earlier." He pouted then.

"I just really like mushrooms. Victor gives them to us for treats," he whined then looked at me. "My siblings all would have done the same, and they did. They shoved me to the back."

"Don't bring in your siblings when I'm talking about you," I warned him. He growled at me then and flattened his ears.

"Stinkpot for rules," he grumbled. "You're too much of a goody two shoes."

"Well you're a bad influence," I teased him. "But I'm going to make you good." He frowned at me then looked me over.

"Make me good? I'm perfect the way I am," he told me then crossed his arms. "You're the bad influence telling me I'm a bad influence."

"Fine," I grumbled as I eyed him over. "I'm not going to let you do bad things though." His gaze softened before he giggled and grabbed my hand.

"I won't steal today at your party," he promised me then kissed my hand gently. "I'll behave like you want...." He flicked his cute ears then looked up at me sweetly. "You'll have to tell me when I do something you don't like though~"

"I am doing that," I told him and rubbed his head. "I've been doing that." He giggled and nodded, giving my hand a squeeze.

"I'll listen this time though~ What do you want to do, birthday boy?" He asked and moved closer to me. "We could go ask for mushrooms... or go see your other friends," he suggested. "You have other friends, right?" He glanced around then perked his ears up. "There~ that boy looks a little older than us. Do you know him?" He spun me around to show me uncle Laurence. "I bet the two of you are friends."

"That's my Uncle Laurence," I told him and giggled.

"Uncle? He looks too young," Koda said and frowned before he let me go and started for uncle Laurence, sneaking up on him. I followed Koda quickly and giggled. Uncle Laurence turned quickly to face us like he knew we were coming-- no he did know. He knows everything. Koda smirked and ran at him before he knocked him to the ground and giggled.

"Gotcha!" He said then smelled Laurence curiously. Uncle Laurence laughed before rubbing Koda's head.

"Hey, Koda~! What're you doing trying to sneak up on me? Meet me?" He asked. Koda gasped and looked at him with wide eyes then giggled.

"How do you know my name?" He asked and sat up on Laurence. "Are you magic?" He wagged his tail in excitement and reached for Laurence's hair to play with it.

"No, I just know things," Laurence told him in amusement. "What are you? Sneaky?"

"The sneakiest fox that ever lived," Koda said proudly and smirked. "One day I'll be sneakier than my own daddy and I'll steal all his mushrooms out of his soup! I'll be the cutest, sneakiest fox in the world!"

"I don't think that'll be accurate.... but you can still hope," Laurence purred out to him.

"Oh, I'll be the sneakiest," he said and giggled then grabbed the front of Laurence's shirt. "Donnie says you're his uncle but I don't believe him. You're too young."

"I am his uncle. I'm Uncle Laurence. I'm old enough to be his uncle."

"Nuh uh, you're young," Koda said and giggled. "You only look a few years older than us~"

"That's because he's stuck at that age," I heard Victor purr out before he scooped up Koda off Laurence. "Sorry Laurence~ he's a troublemaker," he told him then put Koda on a leash. Koda yelped and looked at the leash with wide eyes before he started to sniffle.

"B-but I didn't do anything! I only wanted to say hi!" He said and tugged on the leash as Victor held him firmly. "I didn't steal from him!"

"I know you didn't, but you knocked him over," Victor said and frowned. "I can't have you knocking people over at Donnie's party. Besides, I'm going to get your siblings soon and put you all to bed for a nap. You all need one. Watching all twelve at once along with two grown babies is exhausting." He sighed and sat Koda on the ground, holding his leash in his hand. Koda whimpered and yanked on his leash.

"But I wanna stay up and play with Donnie! Donnie and I are going to be friends! He told me we would!"

"Daddy," the one in uncle Victor's arms whined out and rubbed his eyes. "I'm sleepy, can you take a nap with me?" Victor gasped and dropped Koda's leash, looking at the one in his arms quickly before he chuckled and started to shower him in kisses.

"Of course~ I'll take a nap with you all, but you'll stay in my arms where you're safe," he purred out. Koda smirked as he eyed over his leash then took off running from Victor as he giggled and yanked his leash up into his hands to avoid it being grabbed or stepped on. I saw Victor tense then snarl, looking towards Koda. "KODA! Get back here! TRICK! GET YOUR KID!" I watched as Trick walked up and snatched up Koda before smirking as he kissed his cheek.

"Are you giving grandpa trouble again? You know better Koda. You wouldn't be on a leash if you didn't cause so much trouble with your siblings." Koda whined and squirmed in Trick's arms before he sniffled and gripped Trick's shirt.

"D-daddy, I don't like the leash. I wanna play with Donnie and take a nap with Donnie," he told him then hid his face into Trick's shirt. "It isn't fair.... I didn't do anything but say hi to Laurence. Grandpa never put you on a leash for things that we do."

"Well I also was raised alone by him. You have eleven other siblings. He's got to figure out some way to take care of you. Even with me helping divide the help it's six we both have to take care of. Four when Polar helps." Koda puffed his cheeks out as Victor started for them with a light hum.

"Daddy, tell grandpa I can stay with Donnie for the night," he begged and looked towards me. "Can I, Donnie? Pleaaase?"

"You want to ditch your siblings to sleep with Donnie?" His dad asked. Koda tensed and looked at him.

"W-well... they see me every day," he whispered then blushed. "C-could Donnie sleep with us? I'll make sure my siblings don't paw at him for his stuff. I'll protect him."

"You have to get permission from his parents and him," his dad told him. "I think we're staying the night here anyways." Koda blushed then and rubbed his dad's ear.

"I can't just steal him like I steal mushrooms?"

"No. You can't kidnap people. Especially vampires. Now go ask and be polite." Trick placed him down and unleashed him. "I want you back on the leash in fifteen minutes and ready for bed with or without Donnie." Koda frowned and looked at the leash in Trick's hands then flattened his ears before he ran towards my mom, rushing for him. Victor watched and frowned as he took the leash from Trick then kissed Trick's cheek. I giggled and ran after Koda, watching as my mom turned to face us as we came up.

"Hi sweeties~!" He scooped me up into his arms and kissed my cheek. "Making new friends?" He asked me and sat me back down. Koda giggled and snatched my mom's hand before he looked up at him.

"Mhmm, I'm his new friend Koda~" He said sweetly then smiled at him. "Can Donnie come spend the night with me tonight? My grandpa is about to put me and my siblings down for a nap, and I want to spend time with Donnie before we have to leave tomorrow. I promise I'll protect him from my siblings~"

"S-sure," my mom said and gave a sweet smile. "You want to take a nap with your friend, right?" My mom asked and looked at me. I shrugged and giggled. Koda wagged his tail in excitement then snatched my hand.

"Thank you so much sir," he said then looked at me. "Thank you, Donnie~ I'm so happy that you want to be my friend! You're the first boy I've met my age besides my siblings~"

"You're the first I've met too," I whispered and blushed. He grinned at me then looked up at my mom before he looked back at me.

"Do you want to go tell your dad?" He asked me and gave my hand a slight squeeze. "I'm sure he'll want to see you." He glanced towards my daddy on the piano then back at me. "I'll be waiting for you with my grandpa, okay?" He let my hand go then looked back up at my mom quickly. "Thank you so much!" I giggled before running up to the stage and up to my dad on it before I got on the bench beside him.

"I'm going to take a nap with my new friend," I told him. He looked at me and raised an eyebrow as he kept playing.

"Oh? You are? I take it your mom said yes," he said then smirked. "Well goodnight kiddo. When you wake up, I'll give you dinner and let you stay up just a little bit longer than normal before I put you to bed again, okay?" He leaned over and kissed my head. "My sweet little daddy's boy~" I giggled and kissed his cheek before hugging him.

"I love you daddy," I whispered sweetly to him. He stopped playing then hugged me back.

"I love you too little angel," he whispered then kissed my temple. "Now off you go. I still have to play or else I won't get paid."

"You're not getting paid anyways," I giggled out to him.

"Mommy is going to pay me later," he told me and patted my head. "He thinks that your dad playing is really pretty and wants to give me kisses sometimes when I play... not lately, but he used to."

"Oh okay... I hope mommy pays up then," I giggled out before getting off the bench. "Bye daddy."

"Bye sweetheart," he purred out then looked me over and laughed as he went back to playing. "Go take a big nap with him, mkay?"

Paris's POV:

Victor took his fourteen foxes and my little boy out of the room, taking them to get their nap as the little rascals were yanking on their leashes, almost dragging him as they giggled and chased one another. "He's got too many," I heard Dante grumble a foot away, eyeing the door over then looked at Walter. "You're not having twelve when you finally find a lover."

"What? You mean you don't want twelve devils running around?" I asked Dante as I walked up to him. "They're adorable and hellions at the same time." I gave him a huge smile. "What have you been up to?" Dante frowned and looked at me.

"Keeping my castle in order and training unlike you," he shot at me.

"Rose owns my throne," I purred out. "I don't have one anymore except the one that I sit on with Richard."

"Why the hell would you give up your throne?" He hissed. "That's ridiculous. I would never have traded that away. You're such a damn French Poodle. You're not even on Richard's throne with him. You never got married to him."

"I could get married to him if I wanted," I hissed out. "Besides.... I wanted to give Rose the crown and there's nothing wrong with it. She's a great princess."

"Thank you," I heard her purr out as she walked up to us. "I sure as hell better be. You have something to say about it Dante? I know a torture chamber here that can have your name written all over it." He glared her down then.

"If it wasn't for Paris, your ass would have been killed like all the other children of the old ways," he told her sharply. "You better be thanking your lucky stars that your brother was leading the war."

"Watch your tongue or I'll bite it off," Rose hissed out in a warning tone. "My brother is a damn good man and you better show some respect to my family quick." She crossed her arms then. I chuckled lightly to ease the mood.

"Rose, he's just being spiteful because that's who he is. He knows deep down he loves me, and he can't stand the fact that I've ignored him a little." I yanked Dante into my arms then. "Right Dante? You've missed me so much~ You miss calling me your little French Poodle~ I hear it in your thoughts!" He froze up in my arms then snarled, putting his hands against my chest quickly. FUCK HE'S TOUCHING ME!

"What's going on?" I heard Louis call out, walking up quickly with a frown on his face. He straightened out his tie and adjusted his suspenders that were over his button up white shirt. "I'm so sorry I'm late. I slept in." He bit his bottom lip then looked around. "Donnie?"

"He's taking a nap with the twelve little foxes Victor brought for him to play with. They're adorable," I told him and then yanked Dante's head down to my side and started to mess his hair up to mess with him really bad. "Take back what you've been thinking," I warned him. He yelped then snarled at me, struggling to get free.

"Stay out of my thoughts if you don't like it!" He hissed then exposed his fangs. "I'll call you whatever I like, you damn French Poodle! You fucking ditched me after the war like I was fucking nothing! I taught your ass how to fight!"

"I tried to invite you into my life but then you yelled at my twin," I whined out a little. "What was that about? Yelling at poor Louis~ You're so mean." I chuckled and let him go then and brushed my hands and clothes off. "You can take it out on me tomorrow. We'll go fight it out in an arena." I put up my fists then and playfully punched at him. "You can knock me down a few times and then pick me up and love up on me and tell me how sorry you are." He caught my fist then frowned at me.

"I'm not the sorry one around here. You are," he told me and then pushed my hand away. "You're lucky I'm not going to treat you like damn dirt in front of your kid." Louis frowned and wrapped his arms around my waist.

"Why's he so mean?" He asked and looked Dante over. "Every time I see him, it's like someone shoved a hot poker up his butt and left it there."

"You're right, I am sorry," I told Dante and frowned a little. "I don't want to fight with you. I was struggling with my mate and shunned a lot of people," I looked at Richard then. "When I met Louis, I locked my whole world around him and then after that I've been making things right with my mate. I'm trying to make things right with you too Dante," I told him. "We've been terrible friends and very selfish." He tensed and watched me before he shoved his hands into his pockets.

"It's always something about Richardo, isn't it?" He grumbled. "Fine~ I'll accept it for now, but you're still a poodle." He eyed me and my twin over then looked towards Walter. "Aren't you going to go talk to girls?" Louis kissed my cheek and frowned.

"I don't trust him," he whispered. "He still seems pissed at you. He's going to blow up at you one day or something."

"Well why don't you become his friend," I purred out. "Dante~" I shoved Louis his way. "You've met my twin poodle, right?" I asked. Dante snarled and exposed his fangs as Louis stumbled into him with wide eyes.

"P-Paris!" Louis shouted and went to stumble away but Dante shoved him into the ground.

"I've met him but he's not as bad as you. Keep your double off me."

"Don't be so mean," Rose gasped out and helped up Louis.

"I'm not mean," Dante said calmly and looked at her. "I'm just physical." Louis frowned and dusted himself off.

"Yeah right," he muttered and gave Dante a sharp glare. "If I get a bruise, I'm going to give you one."

"Dante~" Laurence purred out. "Haven't you had enough for tonight of being so sassy? Live a little and let go of the past. Here," Laurence held out a champagne glass and swirled the contents around in it. Dante looked towards him and softened up a little before he took it from him.

"Thank you, Laurence," he purred out and started to sip on it. "I didn't come here for a fight anyways."

"Here, we'll drink each other into a coffin," Laurence suggested as he showed off, he had a second and started to drink it. "First one in the coffin gets chocolate from the loser."

"You're on~" Dante purred and started to chug it, gulping it down. Louis frowned and watched before he grabbed my hand and held it, eyeing the two of them over as they started to swallow glass after glass of champagne. I laughed as I watched Baleen walk over with a tray of more glasses for them. I shook my head slightly before I eyed Dante over.

"So, Walter isn't your lover?" I asked him curiously. He tensed as he almost choked on his glass. Fuck, how do I answer that? Saying I have two lovers will earn me some nasty looks.

"N-no, Walter isn't my lover. He's a pet I took in," he said then swallowed the rest of the glass down quickly, putting it back on the tray as he got another glass and avoided looking my way.

"Oh really?" I asked curiously. "Did you bring one with you?" He froze then pulled the glass back from his lips as he looked my way.

"One what?" He asked me sharply.

"A lover," I purred out.

"Paris, you need to stay out of my head," he groaned and swallowed the rest of the glass. "Fine, yes, I brought one of them."

"One of them?" I asked and raised an eyebrow. "You mean you have more than one lover?" He growled at me.

"You know very well the answer to that question. That's why you phrased your original question the way you did," he hissed.

"No~" I said and chuckled before I smirked. "So, who is it?" I eyed over the room curiously.

"He's sleeping," he said simply. "He's allergic to the sun."

"You have a lover that's allergic to the sun?" I asked and smiled a little. That's adorable. "I want to meet him." I yanked out my pocket watch to check the time. The sun should be setting soon.

"He's my head butler," he whispered and blushed a little as he grabbed another glass and started to drink it. I raised an eyebrow and looked up at him as I stuffed my watch down into my pocket.

"Really? How did that happen~ Did he touch you inappropriately or drug you into liking him?" I chuckled out.

"No," he hissed. "I turned him after he asked me because he wanted to serve me for eternity... and I marked him a few times... and then...." I marked him too much in his own room. He gulped down the rest of the glass quickly as he blushed a little at the thought. "One thing led to another," he whispered.

"Oh yeah? Warming up now that you're tipsy?" I asked and smirked. "So, what about the other one?" He tensed quickly.

"I left her at home because she gets... wild," he told me and then grabbed another glass, drinking it. He started to purr as he downed it greedily.

"A girl and a male," I whispered and tsked. "Can't decide, can you?"

"I can too," he muttered. "I like them both, so I'll have them both," he told me sharply.

"What do they have to say about it?" I asked curiosly.

"Heinrich doesn't mind. He's happy with it... and she doesn't know yet," he said and furrowed his eyebrows as he looked at his glass. "I'm going to talk to her about it soon... when I go back. It wasn't that long ago that Heinrich and I started sleeping together...." He smirked then and sat the empty glass down and reached for another one. "I'm not an asshole. I know very well what I'm doing, and I'm planning on talking to her~" He purred happily and looked at me. "So Paaaariiiis~ is there any trouble in paradise for you?" He asked and laughed a little as he looked me over.

"Since we had Donnie, we haven't had time for us much lately and he's been cranky... but I can't blame him.... I feel it too." I told him calmly. "He's wanting it tonight- I promised him after Donnie went to bed, we will have some us time."

"Give him to me for a week!" Laurence suggested. "I'll take good care of him. I raised dragons before." Dante purred and suddenly came towards me before he wrapped his arms around my neck and laughed, burying his face into my neck.

"Paris~ You're such a tease! All these years you've been ignoring me and crying about Richard, and then you invite me to your son's birthday~! I hate you," he murmured, but I could feel he was grinning. The champagne must be getting to him.

"I love you too," I purred out to him in amusement. "Hey.... let me ask you something.... where did Victor get his foxes from? Do you know?" I want to see about getting a playmate for Donnie. Dante purred and nodded.

"An underground Black Market in Europe," he purred out. "I bought him Trick, and he went back later to breed him probably- most likely got that young fox from there too~ I got kittens from there too, but if you want playmates cheap, you're better off asking Victor for one of them. There's no way in Hell he's going to be able to survive all twelve of those babies. He's only one man," Dante said and tightened his grip on me. "If you don't want to ask him for one, I'll take you. It's hard to get to unless you can teleport and know where it is already."

"I want to keep my options open," I told him softly. An underground black market? Should I even go there? Do I want to witness it? I've only heard about it vaguely amongst the council. It's a topic no royal wants to face in person unless they're trouble themselves. There are those rumors of cradle robbers too that have been around for a long time. What if I found my own kind locked up behind bars in a cage? That kind of place and the people who work it are scum. If I went, I'd more than likely blow the whole place up.

"You'd have better luck with Victor anyways~ It'd be cheaper, and you'd know more about where the little buggers came from! I think I'll ask him for one too. My kittens are getting old, and I don't want to be left alone with only Raven, Heinrich, and Walter in my castle with me~"

"I think I might get one too~" Laurence purred out, making Dante smirk against my neck.

"Let's go pick out one each and play with them to see if we want them~ We'll ask Victor later if we can have them to keep~ Oh, Paris! You should get that little boy Donnie has been playing with. It makes more sense to take that one from Victor anyways~" He snatched my hand then grabbed Laurence's, starting to drag us out of the room. I heard Louis gasp and go to grab us but held back with a frown. As soon as we were out and up the flight of stairs that led to the bedroom halls, Dante sniffed the air then walked down one of the halls till he reached one of the doors. He pushed it open and smirked as our eyes landed on all twelve of the little ones- some sleeping on couches and on the bed. I could see Koda and Donnie sleeping soundly next to each other on the bed next to Trick and Polar. Victor was sleeping on one of the couches with his favorite wrapped up in his arms.

"Come on, let's go pick one," he whispered and let us go, going in. He looked around before his eyes lit up mischievously and he walked over, stealing Victor's favorite from him. He slipped a pillow in his place then came out with a small laugh. Laurence eyed over the room as he snuck in to carefully pick his. I followed Dante to keep track of him and held back a laugh as I saw who he got. Oh, Victor is going to be upset when he wakes up. I eyed over Victor's little favorite and purred. He's so cute and small. Dante leaned up against the wall and rubbed the little guy's ears, purring at him as he smelled him curiously. He chuckled and held him closer before he kissed the top of his head. I watched as the cute little fox opened his eyes a little and looked up at Dante expectantly.

"Daddy?" He asked. Dante smirked and rubbed the little guy's ears again.

"Nope, daddy's friend," he said and then gave him a playful look. "What's your name kiddo? My name is Dante."

"Milaya," the little fox whispered out to him and blushed. "Do you have any mushrooms?"

"No, I don't have mushrooms," he said and smirked. "Why? Is that what you like to eat?" He started to walk down the hall with him and hummed.

"Uh-huh- where's my daddy?" Milaya asked. I chuckled and went to follow after him. Stealing him so quickly....

"Asleep~ I wanted to play with you though," he said and purred. "Your daddy won't mind me taking you for an hour or two."

"But it's nap time," Milaya told him and blushed. "He might be upset about it because of that."

"Oh, he won't be mad at you~" Dante sung out. "Think about it as some time with Uncle Dante!" I heard a little whine inside the room- sounding like Koda before there was a thud and a yelp from Laurence. I laughed a little and looked back at the room curiously before going after Dante as fast as I could to keep up with him.

"Oh okay.... if he won't be mad at me," Milaya said cutely.

"Why don't you come meet Walter, hmm?" Dante asked then purred as he disappeared from my sight quickly. I caught his thoughts picking up back in the mix of the ballroom, going for his Walter. I frowned and teleported after him to keep up with him. I can't believe it. It's like he forgot me. I can't wait until Victor wakes up and comes after him for taking his baby boy. Dante glanced towards me then purred before he walked up and exposed his fangs, leaning in towards my neck.

"You keep following me, Poodle. Are you afraid I'm going to disappear on you like a ghost?" He smirked and bit into my neck quickly. I heard Richard bang on the keys a little as he caught the scent of my blood, making Dante tense.

"You better stop before he whoops you and takes me to our bedroom," I said softly and patted Dante's chest. "I told you he's been deprived of mate privileges for a while... He's very cranky." I heard Milaya whine then, giving a tired sigh. He pulled back from my neck and frowned.

"What? Have you not had sex with him in six years? I'd call that trouble in paradise. You're lucky his ass hasn't left you again."

"We've had sex here and there just not often enough to satisfy his neediness."

"What about your needs? Are you satisfied? The two of you used to go at it like rabbits- especially when knives were involved," he said then smirked. "Are you losing interest in him now that the war is over, and he came back and gave you a kid? Has the romance died?"

"No," I purred out. "I just want to spend my time with my son before he grows up and leaves me for the big world. They don't stay young forever, but we can have sex as much as we want in eternity." Dante raised an eyebrow at me then went to go to Walter but froze as his eyes lingered on the windows. The sun had set. He smirked and shoved Milaya into my arms before he whistled and started to walk off. Heinrich should be getting up! I smirked before looking down at Milaya.

"You want to go back to your daddy?" I asked him sweetly. He nodded and rubbed his eyes. "Let's go put you back then."

"Put him back?" I heard Victor mutter from behind me before he snatched Milaya. "So, it was you," he hissed and held Milaya close. "I can't believe you took him out of my arms while I was sleeping."

"Technically Dante did and then gave him to me when he gained more interest in one of his servants than Milaya." Milaya gave a small giggle as he wrapped his arms around Victor's neck and smelled his chest.

"Daddy," he mumbled. Victor purred quickly and looked down at him in relief before he started to kiss the top of Milaya's head.

"I've gotcha sweetie," he murmured. "Come on, let's get you back to bed. Your Uncle Laurence joined us~" He disappeared from my sight quickly with him, ditching me. I purred as I eyed over where they had been. Milaya is a cutie~! No wonder why Victor favors him. I purred and walked up to the piano and sat down with Richard on the bench before I leaned into his ear and kissed right next to it.

"Honey... I think we should look into this underground black-market Dante told me about. It's where they've been getting their little companions at." Richard raised an eyebrow and purred, looking towards me.

"Why are you interested in it?" He asked. "Are you wanting something... or are you wanting to destroy it? Dante will be mad if it gets destroyed after he told you."

"Well I want to look into it and if I disapprove of something there too bad in what Dante or Victor thinks." Richard purred and leaned in for a kiss, stealing one as he kept playing.

"I'll go with you then when we have time. We can have Laurence babysit," he suggested then smirked, exposing his fangs at me. "We should play that duet before Donnie comes back in."

"You want to play it now?" I purred out before smirking and took over the piano from him, starting the duet. "Laurence already offered to babysit while we get things done. We can use the time to take care of the hunters as well." He purred as he played with me and got silent as he closed his eyes with a smirk. I've missed this so much~ I miss being able to play with him like this.... He looks so sexy in that suit too.... He always looks sexy. "We'll also get some us time," I purred out into his ear. He gasped and then leaned over, kissing me quickly before the bench tipped back and we were thrown into the floor with him over me. "Richard," I purred out and looked away from the kiss. He frowned and kissed my neck quickly.

"What?" He grumbled and reached for my hands.

"What're you doing?" I asked quickly.

"Getting a kiss," he said then sat up on me and ditched me, getting back on the piano bench before he started to play again, picking up where we left off as he smirked. "Got what I wanted though~" I frowned and got back on the bench.

"You just wanted to get me off the piano," I grumbled.

"No, I wanted a kiss from my lovely mate," he purred then leaned over and kissed my cheek. "My drop dead gorgeous, bad ass, ass kicking mate~"

"I love you," I purred out before going back to playing our duet. He smirked and watched me for a few minutes before he looked at the keyboard then suddenly changed songs on me, switching it to the one that he played when I first walked in and met him- the day he bit me for the first time. I backed off to listen to it and purred. I love this… I leaned in and kissed his cheek quickly. He chuckled under his breath as he closed his eyes and started to pour his soul into it, the sound of it sending a chill through me. I eyed him over before sighing. "You know I love you right?" I asked him softly. "I just want to focus on our son. He is our first and he won't be little forever. I don't want to miss it." He opened his eyes and looked at me quickly before he purred.

"I know you love me. If you didn't, you would have tossed me out by now," he told me then leaned in and kissed my neck. "I want to spend time with Donnie too. We only get him little once.... I love you too, Paris~" He leaned in and gave me a kiss on my lips as he purred at me. "You and Donnie are the world to me."

"We should be~" I purred out. "I'm your mate and he's your son." He growled playfully at me then bit into my neck, marking me as he kept playing for me. I gasped and pushed on his chest. "R-Richard," I purred out. "Wait for later." He dug his fangs in deeper and marked me again, moaning slightly as he stretched his fingers to reach the keys he needed. "Richard," I groaned out. "No more," I told him sternly. He pulled back from my neck and purred as he licked his lips and looked back at the piano.

"I love you, Paris," he told me and glanced at me happily. He glanced past me towards the door to the ballroom and smirked. "Dante's back with a man in tow," he whispered to me. "Do you want to go terrorize him?" I smirked and grabbed Richard's hand and forced him with me to Dante's side. He gasped and frowned at me as he looked back at the piano then at me with a tsk. "What about the piano?" He asked and then paused as we reached Dante who looked towards us sharply then yanked the man close to his side with a protective growl.

"Who's your friend?" I asked playfully. I watched as the man frowned.

"Master...." He trained off and looked frustrated. "I can walk on my own." Dante purred then and looked towards him.

"Of course, you can walk on your own. This is Paris and his mate Richardo," Dante said and pointed to the two of us. "You remember me talking about them." Richard frowned a little then tsked.

"You may call me Richard. No one calls me Richardo much anymore. Only this ba-"

"Anyways," Dante purred then let the man go. "Heinrich, you should dance with me if there's music again at some point tonight."

"Dance with you? I'm here to serve you," Heinrich told him and looked away quickly. Dante frowned and then tsked.

"Could you get me a glass of wine then," he asked under his breath, eyeing Heinrich over with a disappointed look. Richard smirked then at my side and raised an eyebrow.

"No, you smell like you've had enough," Heinrich told him playfully. He started for the wine set out anyways. Dante watched him then looked at us.

"Did you want something, Paris?" He asked then broke out into a purr suddenly as he walked up. "You sure do seem interested in me tonight~ Is it because your pals are asleep?"

"No, it's because I missed you," I told him and purred.

"You missed me?" He asked and gasped a little before he laughed and wrapped his arms around my neck. Richard tensed as he watched then narrowed his eyes at Dante as Dante leaned against me. "Are you just saying that?" He asked me then gave a small whine. "You are just saying that, aren't you? You're keeping an eye on me because you think I'm going to trash this party!" He sniffled then before he leaned his face into my neck. I could smell the alcohol on him. He's probably still drunk just a bit.

"No~ I think you're drunk though," I purred out to him. He purred then ran his fingers through my hair before he tugged at it.

"I've missed you so much, but you're such a tease, and you're a big pain in the ass and an ungrateful student," he muttered. "You left me alone for centuries! Cen-tur-ies!"

"I'm sorry," I purred out to him quietly. "I didn't mean to on purpose." I hugged him tightly then before leading him into a dance. "You should have come by and kicked my ass for it. Teach me a lesson." He laughed then and smirked as he started to dance with me.

"I'll kick your ass in the morning," he told me and purred in amusement. "You're never going to forget it~"

"We both know you're not going to remember this conversation in the morning and if you do you won't even come near me with a ten-foot pole. You don't like me when you're sober." I purred in amusement from the attention I was getting from him. Dante purred at me then.

"You better keep me drunk. Just stick me in Victor's room. We'll stay drunk all night!" I heard Richard huff from the sidelines.

"He's taking a nap with his puppies. He'll end up going to bed early with them too. He's a daddy now. I know I need to go to sleep when Donnie does, or he'll wear me out." That kid can be a mess sometimes. He's doing good so far with being in a room full of strangers. I'm impressed he's napping with some right now. He just likes it because most of them are his age. He needs someone his age to play with constantly and grow up with. He's supposed to have a twin after- all. I frowned a little and looked at Richard. He was watching me intently, staring me down before he smirked teasingly at me. I bet he wants to cut into this dance... I bet he will later when he realizes he wants me and gets jealous because I'm not in his arms. He winked then started to walk off- heading straight for Val and grabbed her hand, bowing slightly at her as he gave her a playful look and asked her to dance, kissing her hand lightly. I gasped lightly and frowned. He's such a tease damn it! He pulled her into the middle of the dance floor and started to lead her in a waltz as one of the servants took over his duty on the piano to keep the music going. We need to set up for the huge celebration where we cut the cake and open presents with Donnie. I need to get a proper meal in him first... Richard dipped Val suddenly with a playful look and leaned in, whispering something to her that made her laugh.

"Dante," Heinrich purred out. "You wanted more to drink right? I'm hungry." Dante pulled away from me quickly and wrapped him up into his arms.

"Then get a drink from me~" He exposed his neck to him and purred in delight.

"I want something different from you," Heinrich whispered to him. Dante purred and leaned in for a kiss, stealing one.

"You want something else from me?" He husked out. "Do you want to get lost with me back to our room?"

"No, I want different tasting blood. I'm tired of yours," he whispered quietly. "It's all you feed me." Dante frowned and dropped him back onto his feet.

"Fine, there's a whole table of blood over there you can drink from," Dante muttered, watching Heinrich closely.

"I want you to pick for me," Heinrich purred out. "Master, maker, lover, majesty...." He smirked playfully. Dante gasped and teleported to the table quickly, looking the glasses over before he smelled a few then teleported back with a glass and gave it to Heinrich.

"Here you go, my sweet head butler, manservant, newborn, and lover~" Dude... Heinrich just made his master his servant and Dante doesn't even understand what just happened. I chuckled a little as I watched Heinrich drinking down his fresh glass of blood. Dante smirked as he watched him, but he looked towards the piano as Richard stole it back, getting the servant off the bench. I eyed over the piano before walking up there to him since he was luring me there. He started to play with a loud purr, playing a waltz from our first ball together. I purred in delight and sat down with him. He's a great soul mate. He's perfect. I bet we would be together even if we weren't soul mates. He loves me and I love him, and we do well together. He looked towards me and gave me a small kiss on the cheek as his stone pulsed for mine. I don't think he'll ever know how much I love him. I can't put it into words for him, and I know he can read my thoughts... but I doubt he can read my emotions.... Every time I see him, my whole world lights up. He's the best thing that ever happened to me. I'd kill my parents a thousand times and more just to be with him. He's perfect for me... and he's all I could ever ask for~ I love him to pieces, and I would crawl through Hell for him even if it meant destroying my own soul for him. I smiled and ran my fingers across the keys before repeating our song that he played for me earlier.

"We have to ready things for Donnie when he wakes up. We'll give him a warm meal, cake, and then his presents." Richard nodded as he backed off from the piano to let me play and purred.

"We'll make him a plate of food when he comes back. I'll let a servant take over for me to be with you two so we can spend time together tonight as a family," he told me and chuckled as he eyed over my hands as they graced the piano keys lightly to play. "I want to see him blow out his candles..."

"He is six, so you better let a servant take over and spend time with him," I purred out. He smirked and kissed my cheek.

"I will," he promised. "As soon as he wakes up and comes back~" I heard footsteps coming our way before Louis wrapped his arms around my neck and placed his chin on the top of my head.

"Paris~ you know tonight is a full moon.... I think that we should make sure that everyone stays inside tonight. I've heard about werewolves coming around lately, and there have been howls in the woods surrounding the manor the last few full moons, but they don't last long. I think I've managed to trace them back to Jasper, but they've been running this place too like its part of their territory to them. I'd hate for Donnie or someone to wander outside tonight and get torn apart...."

"Oh~ That's the pack watching over the manor," I purred out in amusement. He tsked then.

"Since when did we get a pack? I don't like this. Wolves are bad news. I'd rather have newborns crawling all over the manor first."

"They're under a contract to protect this land in order to live here. I let them live here and they protect the manor." He sighed then.

"F-fine... but I wish you told me before you made a contract with mangy mutts. There's also talk of hunters coming through here on their way to other cities- I think one group was headed to Philadelphia."

"This is Maine..." I frowned a little. "Things do happen. If they find out we're back in the manor they might attack.

"So far we haven't gotten any visits from anyone," Louis told me and rubbed my shoulders. "I think you should raise Donnie fully in Canada if you want him safe. It's the best place for him... especially since he's your first kid. You're still learning how to balance your time between him, your mate, and yourself. Let's not add hunters to the mix until your second kid. Hell~ maybe you can even give Donnie the territory you're living in when he turns eighteen and come back here. That's one way to keep him safe, keep him somewhere close and familiar, and get your own space back quicker because you and Richard would come back here to live with me~"

"I already planned to raise him there," I hissed out.

"Well~ with coming back here, I thought there might be that little chance that you'd want to live with me again~ You know, like the old days," he mumbled then kissed my cheek. I got a flash of Louis and I enjoying glasses of wine while sitting in the living room, getting drunk with each other as we laughed and talked about how to prank Grimm. "I get lonely here by myself... with Rose off in France... and you being in Canada with your family. No one is really here anymore," he mumbled. "I guess I could try turning someone... but..." They'll die. They always die....

"You could get one of the foxes and keep him or her as your companion," I suggested.

"I-I guess I could," he whispered to me. "Those foxes that Victor brought by?"

"Yes, he brought twelve of them~" Richard purred out to him. "I'm sure he'd spare a few for friends- especially if he knew where they were going to wind up at. He'd trust you since you're Paris's twin. I thought about getting one of them for Donnie, but Donnie said he didn't want to separate one from its siblings."

"He'll probably take him when they're older and are rebelling," I purred out thoughtfully.

"Koda?" Richard smirked then. "You think he'll rebel like you and me and take that little fox away from Victor and hoard him all to himself?" He chuckled darkly then. Maybe he will take after me more on that aspect~ I did take Paris away and hoard him....

"I think they're going to have a big adventure together," I whispered.

"Think they'll get together?" He asked me curiously and frowned. "Are we already looking at Donnie getting a boyfriend? I can't believe it's that time already...." He rubbed his head then and glanced at the piano. "Damn, it won't be but ten more years before he's sixteen and, in that age, to be looking around...."

"Hey.... don't think like that about our little boy!" I hissed out.

"We were young when we ran off together and had sex on that beach," he whispered and looked at me. "If Donnie is like us, he'll find a lover while he's young too. We can't deny that. We don't have to think about it right now... but in a few years, we'll have to give him the talk and set him up for him to find someone. We can't keep him innocent during his teen years. He needs to know about those kinds of things or else we won't ever get grandkids. Don't you want those? It's like having kids without the responsibility."

"Our son will be mature in time. So, stop thinking about the future and think about now while he's still our little boy." He frowned but gave me a small nod before he kissed my cheek.

"I know," he murmured to me. "I was only reminding you." He ran his fingers over the keys as I kept playing then smirked, starting to play a harmony to what I was playing as he made the song more spicy- turning it into a duet. I purred a little as I listened to him playing. He glanced towards me then widened his eyes as the door was thrown open and the sound of a hundred yips reached my ears as Victor's little foxes ran into the room as he quickly unleashed them. I spotted Koda and Donnie towards the back near Victor as my friend stood up from letting Koda off the leash. Victor had his favorite in his arms and quickly put a mushroom into the little baby fox's mouth to treat him as Koda looked at Donnie with a sweet look and waved at him to follow him towards the buffet tables. I smiled sweetly as I spotted them all. There's Louis's chance. Louis widened his eyes as he watched the kids running around.

"W-whoa that's a lot of foxes~" He laughed then before he looked down at me. "Do you think he'd really give one up to me? What if he's possessive with all of them?" His eyes lingered on one of the albinos before he gasped. "I want one of them," he murmured. "I'd take really good care of him~ I'd bathe him and feed him and love him and play with him! I miss having someone around!"

"You better go ask Victor," I said in a teasing tone. He blushed then ran for it.

"VICTOR~! I need to talk to you! It's really important!" Victor tensed and looked his way then yanked out a bottle of vodka and took a swig of it as he watched my twin rushing towards him.

"I can't wait to watch this play out. Victor already has suitors asking for one."

"Go claim Koda," Richard muttered quickly. "Before someone lines up to take Koda from Victor or buy him. Go tell Victor that we want Koda when he's older if Donnie takes a liking to him, so he won't give Koda away."

"Okay," I purred out and got to my feet before I teleported in front of Victor, beating Louis to him. "Victor~" I purred out. He widened his eyes and looked towards me, lowering the bottle.

"What is it? Why are you both over here?" He held his little guy closer to him and frowned. "Did I miss something important?" Louis ran up and bit his bottom lip as he got ahold of Victor's sleeve and held onto it, shooting a look towards me worriedly.

"Some of us have been discussing about your little ones..." I eyed him over and smiled sweetly. "Donnie is really taking a liking... Don't ever get rid of him okay?"

"Koda?" He asked and frowned. "Why would I give any of them up? They're mine...." Louis frowned then.

"Umm... about that... couldn't I have just one?" He asked and gripped Victor's sleeve a little tighter. "It gets really lonely around here, and I'd take really good care of him, I promise.... You'd be able to see him whenever you want too. I wouldn't stop you...."

"You want one of my foxes?" He asked and frowned at Louis then glanced around. "W-well... you are Paris's twin," he grumbled and then looked towards his foxes running around with a hesitant look. "It might not be wise to split one from the group."

"Please?" Louis asked quickly. "I promise I'll let him visit! I don't have anyone here to talk to but servants! I've never raised anyone before. I've always just made newborns!"

"Ask Trick. If you can convince him you'd make a good guardian, we'll talk about it," Victor said sharply. "Trick! Come here!"

"Oh Dante wants one too," I purred out in amusement. "Laurence too." I eyed over Laurence as he looked at me sharply from a few feet away then pressed his index finger to his lips and glared me down.

"W-what? How could you all want one?" He asked and frowned at us then looked towards Trick quickly. "Trick! They're after your kids!"

"STAY AWAY FROM MY KIDS YOU PERVS!" Trick yelled out and looked pissed. "THEY'RE ALL MINE!" Victor relaxed a little but tensed as Louis's face fell quickly.

"They want to adopt a few," Victor called out to Trick, looking back at him. "Dante, Louis, Laurence, and maybe Paris." Trick walked up to us with a clenched jaw.

"I gave my sperm for them and they're all mine," He told us. "You can visit them but you're not having one."

"But I don't have anyone living with me here," Louis told him and frowned. "I would love to raise one of them. I'd let you visit whenever! It's so lonely here by myself, and Paris isn't going to return for good until Donnie is an adult!"

"They were all born together, and I can't imagine breaking my babies up right now or ever," Trick hummed out sweetly. "I had them for Victor to play with when I die."

"Well... if he has at least the one he's holding, I'm sure he'll be fine," Louis told Trick and frowned. "He can't seriously take care of all twelve and give them all love. I'd make one of their lives so much happier with so much more individual attention! He'd visit frequently and you could visit frequently. I just want one of the albinos," he told him and walked up to Trick. "I'm not a douche bag like Dante. You can trust me."

"I know I can trust you but it's my baby we're talking about. I promised to take care of all twelve."

"You'd still be taking care of them through me," Louis said and frowned. "You can stay a few days to see if I'm an adequate guardian with him, and if you don't like what you see, you can take him...."

"Want me to bite you?" Trick growled out. "I'm not letting any of my children go." Louis frowned at him then and hissed.

"You're too damn greedy. You have twelve," he hissed. "You can stand to let one go, can't you?! Fine, I don't want your children. I'll go find some other, more deserving little fox. I'll just ask about where you came from."

"Black market," Victor coughed out. "Dante got him for me."

"Great, let's go find Dante and go," Louis hissed. "I don't want your crummy children. When they grow old and lose Victor's interest before your very eyes, then you can feel awful that you didn't take me up on my offer and give one of them someone who wouldn't have." Victor frowned a little and rubbed his favorite's ears.

"I wouldn't lose interest in them," he grumbled under his breath. "Besides, you're not making friends with Trick talking like that. He's not going to give you one if you're going to act that way to him when you don't get your way." Louis frowned at him then looked at Trick, shooting him a glare before he walked off, shoving his hands into his pockets. Trick sent a glare towards Louis before looking at Victor and snatched his kid from him before walking away with him.

"Daddy loves all of you," Trick mumbled softly. "I'm not letting my babies go."

"TRICK, YOU GIVE ME THAT ONE BACK OR SO HELP ME I'LL GROUND YOU!" Victor hissed and went after him with a snarl. "NO MORE MUSHROOMS FOR YOU!"

"This is my baby," Trick whined out. "You have him all the time. I don't even think he knows who his father is."

"That's how I like it! Go pick up a different one," Victor hissed and snatched the little fox out of Trick's arms and held him close. "You snatched this one from me because you're upset. You have no right to take that out on me."

"He's my baby though," Trick grumbled and lowered his ears. I heard Milaya whine a little from getting tossed up. Victor watched him then sighed, handing Milaya back to him.

"Fine," he muttered. "I want him back at bedtime." He walked away from Trick then and was starting in my direction to rejoin me as he yanked his bottle of vodka up to his lips to sip it. I heard Milaya let out a small whine and start to cry. He squirmed out of Trick's arms before running off towards his siblings and tackled the closest one. Victor smirked smugly as he saw it then stopped in front of me. "Good luck getting your hands on Koda for sleepovers," he told me and chugged his vodka. "You'll have to go through Trick too just like Louis did."

"Well at least I'm not asking for Koda to adopt," I whispered as I watched Trick give an upset look before stomping out of the ball room. Victor groaned as he watched him.

"Excuse me. I need to go calm the old man down," he muttered and disappeared from my sight to go talk to Trick and calm him. Koda tugged on my shirt then as he wagged his tail.

"Can Donnie come spend the night with me too in our room where we're sleeping?"

"If it's okay with his father," I purred out to Koda. He gasped and then grinned at me.

"Yes sir," he said and took off running for Richard with his tail wagging a mile a minute in excitement. As soon as he reached him and gave him that cute smile of his, I saw my mate nod before he ruffled Koda's hair, earning a giggle of delight before he crawled into Richard's lap for more attention. I caught sight of Milaya sneaking off to a corner in the room where some chairs were sat up before crawling into them and curling up for a nap. Polar walked over to him and sat down by him, rubbing his head. Richard got up with him then before he looked towards a servant nearby, gesturing for him to take over as he stepped down from the piano and started in the direction of Donnie as he carried Koda in his arms. I smiled a little as I watched them. Maybe Victor can convince Trick to stop being so greedy with his sons and share a few with us... He's not going to live forever anyways and eventually he'll die, and Victor will do what he wants with them. Trick is an old man after all. Richard sat Koda down when he reached Donnie then scooped up our little boy, showering him in kisses before he spun around with him and chuckled.

"Hey cutie~!" I heard him purr out to him. "Koda here wants you to stay the night with him tonight in their room. I told him you could if you want, Donnie." He smirked and held him close as he gave Donnie another kiss on his nose this time. "Are you excited to blow out your candles and unwrap your presents? Mommy and I got you a lot of things you're going to love~ I wanted to spoil you so much," Richard told him and smirked. I walked up then as if it was my cue. Donnie eyed over Koda before giving a small smile.

"I don't know... I was going to try to sleep with you and mommy," Donnie said and looked up at Richard. "Don't you want me to sleep with you?"

"You can sleep with us tomorrow night and have fun with Koda tonight- sleeping in bed," I told him and purred. "You're going to stay with Uncle Laurence for a few days soon. He'll take care of you while I do a few errands with your father." Richard smirked and looked towards me then looked down at Donnie.

"So~ you'll sleep with us tomorrow. Mommy gets last word in those things," he told him then smirked as he reached for his nose and playfully 'snatched' it from him as he put his thumb through his fingers and balled up his hand to make it seem like he had a nose. "Got your nose Donnie~"

"Momma what kind of errands are you doing with daddy? Can't I come?" Donnie asked me and pouted.

"No sweetie. You'll have more fun with Uncle Laurence anyways," I purred to him.

"But I just turned six. I don't want you to go so soon."

"We'll come back," I promised and purred in amusement as I rubbed his head. "Now be a big boy like I know you are and let's sit it aside." I picked him up and kissed his cheek. "You better worry about your missing nose right now."

"That's okay, it'll grow back."

"Vampire children take all the fun out of it," Richard muttered and eyed over the nose in his hands before he let it go and sighed. "Just because you can grow it back doesn't mean you should chop it off."

"You're the one that stole it from me," Donnie told him. "I didn't chop it off."

"Why don't we light some candles and cut cake then open presents?" I suggested with a light purr. "I know you're excited to see what you got from everyone. You still haven't gotten mine yet," I teased lightly. I kissed the top of his head as I walked with him up to the cake where the servants had wheeled it out to. He should be excited. It's chocolate, his favorite. I had a special baker make it. It's about ten layers high and has 'Happy Birthday Donnie' written on it. He squealed in delight as he saw it and gave a small gasp. I'll have to lift him up to the candles for him to blow them out. "Make sure to make a wish. Every wish counts, and you'll always get what you wish for," I told him sweetly. My sweet... innocent, baby boy. I wish he could stay this young forever... I guess it's a good thing it's not my birthday wish today. "I love you," I purred out to him.
