Suddenly the rough sound of rocks grating filled the cave entrance. From my tired form, I'm granted the right to see what's happening without moving, the sealed entrance opens letting light invade somehow reaching me laying on the back wall beside the tunnel leading to the rest of the cave.
I have to shut my eyes and turn my face into the ground away from the much to bright morning light.

Shifting my head to peer outside I'm forced to cover my face again.

I walk trailing my hand along the wall to the mostly settled dust. I have to lean against the wall to stop myself from falling.

The tunnel! It's gone!
Running back inside I come face to face with a wall missing any sort of tunnel not only that the far side of the cave was completely flat.
The wall touches my hand despite me not moving. I'm being pushed? The wall is pushing me out! I'm already near the entrance of the cave. Digging my heels into the ground and pushing accomplishes nothing, until it did that is.
The wall, heavy as a mountain has inexplicably stopped.

A breeze caresses my back, behind me is a thin bit of sand only wide enough for one foot to be placed. This thin bit of ground separates me from the ocean, that's at the least fifty feet deep!

Rock on rock scrap together making sparks pushing the last bit forcing me to turn my left foot to get pushed flat with the wall.
I'm for standing desperately grasping for a hold on a flat surface with my right leg out wide leaning into the mountain.
I hear what sounds like a person panicking.

The water is being cut. It sounds like a pressure washer on concrete and looks like a smudge on the horizon. It has to be moving quickly to be throwing up all that water, and it's coming in this direction. like I needed another reason to leave
Climbing isn't an option at least not on this part of the wall I have to move forward without falling in. Can I walk?
Moving my dangling foot in front of me almost forces me off right there, putting my right leg on the path would force me to bend my left knee into the wall pushing me-

The sound of water being ripped through louder than ever.
Putting two and two together I look to my back, ceasing all movement vision greying out.
From the water vaguely within eyeshot of me is a fin sticking out of the water at least half of my height.
Even now it's already halved the distance, becoming slightly easier to see a large shape is attached to it.
I'm not able to move fast enough to escape, I can't climb, can't run, can't fly, and swimming is a guaranteed death sentence.
The fin shrinks followed by a turret of water that's been thrown up lowering with it before it has the chance to come in contact seemingly pulled down with the fin.
The shape disappeared. I'm safe.
For now.
Now acutely aware of the fact I held my breath I shake my head and and prepare to move forward I guess.
The only way to do that is to hop and shift forwards.
I wish I had some way of seeing-my minimap! The new skill I gained from the mission gives me a clear view of what's going on.
The minimap Spears as an amateurish circle with a dot in the middle. Half of the map seems to be colored with a blue crayon that has In large black lettering says 'Siwvew vawentine' under that is '(Sowwy no time puwt wowd good)' The left side of the map is taken up by brown, the mountain.
Please tell me it won't always be like this...

Seeing no easy way out I struggled along the wall to an unknown destination mindful of the water behind me holding any number of horrid monsters...
"Club blub." sounds a small cartoonish creature which has been watching for the last few minutes only making me mildly nervous.
Currently looking at my back is a cute mascot like octopus bright red with black eyes, stubby arms that appears to sit on the water like a chair.
When I saw it starting blankly at the wall I would soon be passing I immediately hit it with a discern.

After walking past the wall it was so fixated in didn't bring me death I moved on much less fearful especially when it was fine with ignoring me.
So why did the little octo suddenly decide I'm so interesting compared to a boring wall?! Why did It have to do a slow creepy turn as well?
Luckily it didn't feel the need to do more investigation besides that and it is pretty cute.
I'm kinda disappointed, I must have found the safe path for this biome. The only thing I need to worry about is the water, stamina is gained just form sitting still.
My map is a bigger bother showing my point until I get out of the range the map sets up and repositioning so I'm in the middle again.
Well, I guess it isn't all bad I did get .3 pp out of it.

I didn't so everything for the octo mascot.
I started on my fanfiction project again!
This site was hard to make an account on, had to keep. Redoing. The "im not a hot test"

I actually downloaded this app to read a fanfiction that was supposed to be continued from chapter 1 here. Their name should be the same on here but when I looked it up I got a similar name I assume is the same person but the story I came here for wasn't here.
