One Year

Winter went as spring came.

Jiang State Capital's four outer city walls were 100 kilometers long each. Although the city had many soldiers, they were scattered across the four city walls.

Meng Chuan and Liu Qiyue sat on one of the city walls. They looked at the vast land and ate some naan. The soldiers couldn't see them.

"This naan smells so good," said Liu Qiyue as she ate it. "If I hadn't gone to Black Sand Dynasty's western region, I wouldn't have known that such food existed in this world."

"I'll buy as much as you want. It only takes me a few seconds to travel 15,000 kilometers and buy it," said Meng Chuan as he ate.

Liu Qiyue smiled at her husband.

"I still remember how I personally built Jiang State Capital's outer city walls," said Liu Qiyue as she ate. "I dug up the 400-kilometer moat below. It took me half a month."

"Back then, the entire city was stunned by your accomplishment," said Meng Chuan with a smile.
