Prologue

In a dimly lit, misty forest two shadows could be seen moving at an alarming speed through the forest, behind them a group of people were chasing them.

The two fleeing shadows where a male in his twenties and a young woman, the two of them were doing their best to lose their pursuers.

However, the people behind them kept getting closer by the minute, it wouldn't take a long time before the two get caught.

Seeing their dire situation the women looked worriedly at the men as she did her best to keep up with him.

The young lady took an emotional look at the little baby in her hands, then she pushed it toward the man with a decisive movement.

Lost about what do, the man did his best to regain his calm as responded with a loud voice.

"Lan'er as long as I live, I promise to get you back so wait for the day the three of us get back together ".

After that, he suddenly darted toward a cliff with alarming speed then he jumped down the said cliff.

The young lady looked toward where he disappeared with a longing gaze.

"Brother Yu, I believe in you. I will wait for the day the three of us can be together once more ".

While being surrounded, a middle-aged man clothed in purple with a silver wings insignia on his left chest walked toward the young lady.

"Third sister, why be so stubborn !? Father already warned you not to follow such a waste, and now you even gave up your purity and reputation ".

He looked at her with a stern look as he ordered his men to take her back, as she was being scolded the women didn't respond to the middle-aged man .

After looking at the cliff where they lost the man for a moment, he decided against pursuing him.

After all no matter what the child was still his nephew, he didn't want to be forced to get rid of him.
