Elpis, another disapointment (1)
Making our way to Elpis I sat quietly as the bullet pierced through space. Claptrap seemed to be dancing while Athena stared at me. I ignored her as I rested my eyes.
"What's your story?" Claptrap asked Athena breaking the tense atmosphere.
"No," She responded sternly.
"O.K. What about you, friend, what's your story?" Claptrap asked Dracule who rested his eyes.
"What do you mean?" Dracule asked still laying down.
"What's your backstory how'd you get here?" Claptrap continued.
"I'm not going to tell you my "Backstory" but I will tell you a story. Are you willing to listen?" Dracule asked Claptrap who in his own interest agreed. Athena listening leaned forward to hear Dracule's story.
"Once upon a time like many fairy tales, there were two lovers. This man lived a simple but good life until he found out too much. He dug too deep and when he tried to pull himself out he failed. His lover seeing him fall dropped down in to help but slipped and died. Dropping to the very bottom he found the only way to get out was to claw his way back up but every time he did he would fall and see the corpse of his lover. His failure. Eventually, he made it to the top and got revenge but in doing so he fell in the same hole he dug." Dracule told.
"Dig a hole you will know that you can climb back up from. Else you end up like that man," Dracule spoke before getting up. Feeling the bullet pull apart they were making their way towards Elpis.
"Get ready for impact. Protect your head, Athena. Claptrap, protect your circuts" Dracule warned as his body suddenly emitted pitch black dark mist.
"I'm going to die!" Claptrap screamed.
"Everythings going to be alright Claptrap just be quiet. Screaming doesn't help do anything. Just keep your head down," Dracule ordered.

Crashlanding Dracule and Claptrap were the first to awake with Dracule being conscious during the whole crash. Claptrap closed his eyes before realizing he wasn't dead. Athena only woke up later due to her bang the back of her head.
"Hello anyone there? Actually don't say anything. When you exist all the oxygens going to disperse and your eyes balls will pop out. Kinda like a vacuum When you open the door quickly dash out and follow me." A feminine voice called out. Dracule looking towards Athena waited for approval. Athena seeing him nodded.
"I wish I had lungs too..." Claptrap stated.
"Now" Dracule stated casually shocking Athena as to how he was breathing. Opening the door the vacuum pulled them forward releasing all the oxygen when they were pulled out they met a woman.
"Hi, I'm Janey springs follow me! Else your eyes might pop out!" The woman known as Janey springs ordered. Dracule not bothering to rush just walked. Although mist was coming out of his body he wasn't bothered of what they were thinking.
"Say are you on fire? What with the mist friend? Can I call you something other than friend. it's not like your not my friend it's just that friend doest sound good, friend." Claptrap explained as he moonwalked towards Janey springs. Athena only kept quiet as she sprinted with Janey towards the Oxygen bubble ahead. Seeing a weird beacon contraption she activated it creating an air bubble.
"I'm not on fire that is all I'm going to disclose. Well, claptrap I go by many names. Many infamous while some unknown. You may call me Dracule. Don't go wearing it out." Dracule stated towards claptrap.
"Wana hear me beatbox?" Claptrap offered.
"Go ahead," Dracule agreed before hearing Claptrap's terrible beatboxing.
"Hey, claptrap when we finish this job you wanna go to a bot shop to get you a better beatbox machine. As your friend, I will tell you the truth. Your beatboxing isn't quite fit for my hearing," Dracule stated.
"Okay. Do you also want to go dancing? I know a place." Claptrap offered twirling.
"Sure. Its been a while since I've had a good break," Dracule smiled.
"What taking you guys so long?" Janey spring shouted from her garage. Making there way up the hill claptrap greeted her. Dracule entering returned to his human form.
"I'm Janey springs junk dealer who are you?" She greeted.
"I'm an experimental robot called FR4-," Claptrap stated before being interrupted.
"Cool," Janey springs stated.
"I'm Athena," Athena greeted while cathing her breath.
"Well hello," Janey spring replied looking up and down Athena while Athena blushed. Dracule and claptrap only nodded at each other.
"They're totally into each other..." Claptrap muttered under his breath to Dracule.
"Indeed. It's only a matter of time before they jump on each other," Dracule joked.
"Really?" Claptrap asked.
"Its a joke claptrap," Dracule snickered.
"So um, anyway who are you, big man? You're pretty tall." She asked.
"Only my friends and enemies have ever heard my name and applications are closed for both," Dracule responded. He wasn't happy that everyone hated the little robot and outright ignored him.
"O.K we'll what are you guys doing on this hunk of rock? I saw you got blasted down from the Hyperion station, what's up with that?" She asked.
"We need to get back to the helios station we need to take down a jamming signal somewhere on this moon," Athena explained.
"A Jamming signal? I haven't noticed anything like that. You might wanna get to Concordia. The little place is run by a man called "The Merrif". It's a mix of sheriff and Mayor. Gotta be somewhere there who can help you. But you'll need an O2 kit around here to help transverse the lava and death around here. Oz kits we call them up here. I've got a few stashed nearby but I'm gonna need yah to fetch them. I'll mark it on your waypoint. I'' repair them for yah. Head to the waypoint clear the place and you'll find it." She explained before walking away.
"You stay here Athena get to know your future lover while claptrap and I make our way towards the coordinates," Dracule stated before mist started to erupt from his skin. Making his way towards the coordinates they were met with the wildlife.
Rolling towards them Dracule sliced them in half with each cut exploding them and erupting with another. Seeing the incoming horde of beasts he made his way towards the air bubble machine and turned human. Slicing his blade in half all the beasts were killed instantly with no duplicates coming out of the beasts.
'Those things you just massacred were Kragons. I hate the bloody things. They took my ex-lover and mulled on my arm," She stated.
"Thanks for the "Early" Warning I'll put it too good use," Dracule stated as he pressed the door button only for it no too open.
"Hmm, just smash the door locks with your meat hunks. Meat hunks are short for hands on the moon," She explained. Dracule hearing sliced the locks open.
Opening it up Kragons rushed foward their mouth gnawing towards claptrap who only fired away while Dracule only sliced them dead. His every blade cut their throats open causing them too just die with no duplicates. Clearing the beasts Dracule went over and grabbed the O2 kits.
"I got them now. We're making our way back now," Dracule explained he grabbed four broken O2 kits. Giving them to Janey they now had a way to breathe in space without dying.
"Okay, now that you've got the O2 kits I need you to do me a favor. I need you to kill someone," She explained.
"Nothing new I see. Name and address?" Dracule asked as he checked if his weapons were loaded.
"Wait, hold up why do you want to kill him and who is he?" Athena asked.
"Well he's kind of a dick," She explained.
"That's not much of a reason but a favor is a favor," Dracule sighed.
"Well, he's not just a dick He goes by the name deadlift and he kinda got pissed that I'm not attracted to men and stranded us both hereby destroying my only way of transportation to Concordia. He stole my district key and left us to die here," She properly explained this time.
"Deadlift aye. It sounds appropriate from what I'm going to do to him. Let us go," Dracule ordered as he made his way with Athena and Claptrap.
"Be careful Athena," Janey warned.
"I appreciate you care," Athena responded with a blush.
"Stiff with the love talk now," Dracule joked before walking.
