"What how did you?" Jack asked astonished seeing the broken circuitry next to the once blocked door.

"I broke the lid to the wiring its not like I haven't tried it before," Dracule admitted smiling.

"Hey, Jack! My team and I in R&D are pinned down. We're bloody surrounded! I need some help!" Gladstone huffed the sounds of bullets coming from his communicator.

"Look Gladstone sorry we're... Oh, nevermind. Hey, guy, I trust you can handle getting your way to Helio's. I'll get the other team to make there way to Gladstone. Man! These Friggin Claptraps! Get out of my way! I swear if I ever become CEO I'm gonna friggen kill em all! No offense Claptrap 43090," Jack stated.

"No offense was taken!" Claptrap exclaimed.

"Since we're on the subject on Claptrap. How much for his freedom?" Dracule asked.

"I'll think about it. Right now all I'm thinking about is saving Elpis. We'll discuss this after we save Eplis, stop that crazy bitch, and be hailed as heroes. Sound good? Sounds good," Jack answered before going away.

Walking in the crew passed many rooms. The rooms becoming more distorted and damaged with corpses lying around with cannibals enjoying them. Dracule seeing them sliced them like marshmallows with a 1000 degree blade, messy but effective.

"The hell are these people doing here?" Athena asked with Dracule also inquiring.

"Those things? Those are Hyperion Workers who got infected by something. Don't know what but since Zarpedons invasion we haven't been able to do anything. Just kill them and move on. They are beyond saving at this point," Jack answered.

"Alright," Dracule answered.

"Making themselves to an airlock they exited the area of cannibals and entered in closing the area of infection.

*Scanning targets.*

Exiting they were met with many jump pads and an open area. This area contained many construction bots that flew around moving beams and whatnot around.

"This area ain't much. We haven't finished its construction and with Zarpedon again invading the station we haven't had enough time to build anything properly. Jump around and get to the coordinates. From there you'll be able to reach the Eye of Helios this is the most direct route. I'll send a constructer bot to help you," Jack explained.

"Gladstone, why does Zarpedon still have active control over Helio's Defence systems? I thought we shut down the jamming signal on Elpis. The vault hunters shouldn't even be saving your sorry ass. What's up with that?" Jack asked.

"Well, it could be many things such as her having a weaker jamming signal on her person. She might have another mole such as the Meriff on Helio's. Or she just manually rewired the security system." Gladstone explained.

"Waitwaitwaitwaitwaitwaitwait. There could be another traitor on Helio's?" Jack asked flabergasted.

"That's only one possibility, I - Jack? You there bruv?" Gladstone called.

Athena and Dracule Hearing jack worry started to feel worried. Something bad was going to happen. Though the mission was the first priority. Reach the coordinates they open the door only to be met with barrels of explosives.

"Detonate it now!" Zarpedon shouted.

"Oh hell no," Dracule shouted pushing the Crew back with Athena Using her shield to block the massive detonation.

Meanwhile.

"Hello, vault hunters I see that claptrap isn't with you. Did he die?" Roland asked.

"Unfortunately no. He's with the swordsmen so I doubt he'll be dying anytime soon," Nisha sighed disappointedly.

"Ro and I just fought our way across the other side of Helio's. I hope you guys didn't have all the fun on this end." Lilith greeted.

"I got one last thing to wrap up before I send you off to Athena. Let's talk." Jack stated.

"Oooh, what's that?" Jack asked seeing a small badge on Nisha's palm and a small ring on the other. Nisha giving the badge to him activated it.

"A cloaking device, huh, neat. Thanks, Doc what's the Ring for?" Jack questioned

"Still alive thanks to you. Much Obliged. That ring is for Your associate. Don't really know the name of said associate but Gladstone says it's for the one with the "Big badass sword," The Techniation quoted.

"I know the one but anyway. You guys are amazing. You helped me retake Helio's and have created amazing gadgets. You guys are the real heroes. We're gonna head off soon and head to the eye of Helio's and shut it down. I'm gonna summon my very personal escape ship to get you off of Helio's and get you guys the hell out of here. Hey Wilhelm may you do the honors. Just press that button over there." Jack ordered. Wilhelm nodding went over and pressed it causing a siren to alarm with the once still bookcase to move and reveal an airlock. Inside the airlock The scientist of R&D.

*Airlock sealed. Preparing to vent contents of Airlock.*

"Huh? what's going on?" A scientist asked while another started to panic his hands shaking.

"New plan, everybody! Doctor Gladstone informed me that one of YOU might still be a traitor to Captain Zarpedon!" Jack revealed clasping his hand.

"MIGHT! I said MIGHT!" Gladstone panicked his voice shrieking as he banged on the glass. Red lights then started to flare. All of the Scientists panicking rushed to the glass screen dread filling their eyes as they felt there impending doom.

"Hundreds of innocent live's are on the line here kiddo. I can't just take the risk. Stab me on the back once shame on you, stab me TWICE for what it's worth... I'm really sorry," Jack stated the airlock opening sucking them out.

'JACK DONT! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Gladstone screamed as he felt his fingertips loosening before he gave in to the suction. Releasing, his head banged on the glass effectively knocking him out cold as he went, leaving him to die quickly unlike the others who choked slowly.

"That felt kinda... Good..." Jack murmured.

"My god..." Aurelia gasped.

"What the actual fuck..." Jack's Doppelganger swore shock and disgust filling his stomach regret coming over him as he realized just what he had signed up for.

"Heh," Wilhelm smiled.

"Jack, that was the sexiest damn thing I've ever seen in my entire life. Amazing what you can do with a little ingenuity and a big ass airlock." Nisha Flattered.

"Why thank you. We can talk about this later," Jack winked.

"What's next?" Roland asked.

"But Roland he jus-," Lilith said.

"What's the plan?" Roland interrupted.

"Hey! If we hadn't killed them they could've stabbed us in the back! There no telling what they could've done. Think about that when you pass those corridors on your way to the Eye of Helio's," Jack argued.

"Hey, don't have to explain yourself to me I thought it was the right thing to do regardless," Wilhelm accepted.

"Vault hunters what did you think about that... Airlock thing?" Moxxi questioned calling in.

"It was amazing! The dread on their face's my god. It turns me on. So hot!" Nisha stated flustered.

"It. Was. Awesome," Wilhelm explained.

"I... Just wanna get my loans paid dammit!" Jack Dobblganger complained.

"I was ah, Paricullay no fond of that moment but a woman of class must abide by her standards. The paycheck that Jack is offering outweighs my morals right now even if I will regret it later on," Aurilia admitted.

"We'll agree to disagree. Roland, Lilith, and Vaulthunters we're gonna need to head to the swordsmen, Athena, and Claptrap. The main way to get there was cut off so we're gonna need a new plan," Jack admitted.

"Did you guys just see that..." Dracule muttered seeing the horrors that jack had just committed.

"..." Athena only stood silent.

"..." Claptrap doing the same.

"Things have just gotten a lot messier. I knew this was going to happen but for it to happen this way..." Dracule muttered.

"I would feel something but to be honest I only feel empty. It is a strange feeling. I don't like this feeling. I've only ever felt it twice." Claptrap stated.

"That's sadness Claptrap." Dracule answered.

"I don't like it. How do you make it stop?" Claptrap asked.

"It depends. I just forget." Dracule replied before switching his echo device off.

"I need a moment... I'm getting a call I'll be back." Athena explained walking away from the group to the edge of the platform.

"Heya, Athena. Everythings going alright up there?" Springs asked.

"Not really jack just killed.." Athena answered before pausing.

"What does it matter We're close to completing the mission anyway," Athena continued.

"Oh, okay, well if you ever need to talk, you know where to find me. I don't like hearing ya all sad." Springs Comforted softly.

"I um. Thanks. For checking up on me," Athena thanked.
