Cupboard and Sherry (Chpt. 4)

Weinstein, your mother's maiden name. But you don't know if this is your aunt's diary, you don't

even know her name, since you never meet with her. You close the journal for her privacy. Then

you pick up the pendant, it has The Eiffel Tower on it, there's a crack on the side of it, so you try to open it. Inside it is a picture of two girls, you recognise the girl on the right as your mother,

her hair is still the same. You close the pendant and look at the photo album. You pick it up and

openit and flip through it. It's filled with baby pictures, the girl and your mother with others, your

mother and the girl. As well as pictures of your stepfather and the girl, with children that are your

stepfathers. Then you find letters and pictures of you and your siblings. This girl is either a close

friend of your mother and your aunt with the same surname, or your aunt. Then you pick up the

bottle on the second shelf. It's titled Mint in a curvy font. It's inside is a light blue-ish green. The top

is a silver looking sphere.then you pick up the blanket, a blue with black stripes. When you

unfolded it it let out a very light mint smell. You place everything back in its place. Then you pick

up the picture, in it is your stepfather and his children. As well as the girl who seems to be a

woman now due to the mature change in her clothes and four others who seem to be teens and

children. Then you pick up the book, which is titled with the girl's name and the word Notes, with

the same curvy font. You open it and see it isn't as private as the other one. It's a notebook, the

first page is about poison and weapons, the next is of clothing, then of herbs and their effects.

It's filled with useful notes on the topic the page is about. Then you grab some of the loose

pages. The first one is a divorce paper, you decide to not look at that one. The next is a list of

things, children's drawings, poetry, music sheets, letters. You decide you've seen enough and

get a box to put all the things in it. You'll tell your mother about it later. First you decide to hurry

and pack all you can. You scurry around your room to pack as much as you can. Once you

decide you packed enough you walk out, wiping your sweat you go over to Sherry's bedroom

door. A light shade of green. You knock twice, "Come in!" You hear her high pitched voice

slightly raise. " 'Kay," you open the door to see her struggling to get her stuffed giraffe from a

shelf on the wall. You walk up swiftly and grab it for her, "Ask for help next time, 'Kay?" "Okay."

She gets down with her doll in one hand and the giraffe in the other. "Serran, can we go get

breakfast?" She says trying to look forward but still looking up. "Sure, but you have to make sure

your doll and giraffe don't get dirty." "Okay." She walks down the stairs, her hair puffing up with

every step she takes down. By the end of the stairs her flyaways are all over the place. You

walk into the kitchen and proceed to make her porridge, her favorite food for breakfast. Once it's

done you serve it to her. Then you get some bread and make some strawberry milk for yourself.

You sit down across from Sherry. Who has always waited for the others to start eating. Then

you both start eating.
