Tales of the wind_13

The movie just ended and we just stared at silence at the black screen as the names of producers and actors rolled in.

The chatter came in as we talked about how sad the movie was I looked at Lu Jinyu he looked happy and turned around to see Zaferia's icy stare, I quickly spun my head the other way around.

"Hey guys that was fun but no sleepover is not complete without some good juicy stories!"

Malkaya explained ecstatically as we walked up the spiralling stairs to the main bedroom big and comfy we got bean bags and sat around the torch in the middle to give some effect.

Everyone looked at eachother ready for someone to tell a story, then suddenly Zaferia spoke "since all of you are too scared to simply tell a damn story I will" she said coyly.

"Once upon a time-"

"Are these one of those princess stories Zaffie cos y'know no one wants to here that." One of the Miracle twins interrupted Zaferia. As Zaferia gave her a glare and proudly continued on with her story.

"Ahemm, so once upon a time there was a girl called Arazia. Arazia was popular and everyone loved her, however she was not a nice person she bullied and mistreated people either it's the way they talked, walked, looked or lived.

Arazia had everything money a lover proud money-making parents who simply loved every-little-thing-about-her. She had everything except from one thing magic.

Even though she just heard the rumours about it, there were videos of people who had it. It was the only thing she yearned to have that her parents tried to locate, desperately trying to find magic but couldn't. Then one day on a hiking trip she tripped on the rough rocky ground, there was  something shiny, glowing, multi coloured piece of glassy looking object the green, grassy forest floor.

It was a sparkling type of airy liquid that shone. It glowed and because she didn't want anyone to find out she hid it and when she was alone she experimented with it only to find that it was ... MAGIC!"

Everyone was entranced in Zaferia's story even myself it was interesting I couldn't tell if it was fictional or real I really didn't know.

"So she managed to make magical cookies she thought this might give her magic too. With that bit of liquid which she put in her cookie mixture,  when she ate it...the outcome was not what she thought it's like it took over her. She became powerful overflowing with magic the more she ate the weaker control she had over herself, you see Arazia was too arrogant and thought she could handle all the power she abused that power. But all in all could a mere human handle all this magic....

No...

Unfortunately she unsciously began to go mad on a rampage killing people, destroying cities many people tried to stop her including her parents and her lover but that resulted in even more death. All that power could not be contained and one day she gave up before she died she came to her consciousness realising what she had done, a pain greater than any other formed in her heart.

And so she slowly withered into ashes which our now kept in a diamond heart which is kept in a ancient cave in South Serica in a desert they say it hasn't been found in  200 years and they say that whoever finds the key to it will hold the greatest amount of magic in history... Ha you like my story!"

There was quietness then

....

Everyone smiled and clapped for as Zaferia got up and proudly curtsied while everyone thanked Zaferia for her amazing story. Lu Jinyu looked dumbfounded and also a bit nervous from her story, I caressed his hand to calm him but he reacted quite differently he jumped a little.

"What wrong Lu Jinyu?" I asked concerned but he plainly answered with a strange strained smile, "ah..oh don't worry everything's fine really!"

I didn't believe him but I trusted him so I just pushed the thoughts away.

After that the girls gathered in my room as everyone looked in my room they looked at the only guy in the room as Lu Jinyu went to his room awkwardly, we all fell asleep as the light blue sky melted into a dark blue colour.

I was still awake thinking...thinking about things that I didn't know the answer to, confused why-how I was keeping a stranger in the house, or what happened when I went to the hospital and especially with that weird thing happened with mum..

The birds whistled and hummed sweet melodies and the owls hooted and pigeons flew across the crystal, clear, morning sky. It was morning as the sun glistened. I could see half the girls were fiddling with their holo-phones and some asleep.

I got changed in the bathroom my mind wandering it was the weekends - Saturday I didnt have much to do today. After a few minutes everyone was already awake it had been 2 days since that talk with mum I had completely forgot about it maybe I was imagining that but I was still going to be cautious when the time came...

Everyone was up and changed I waved the girls goodbye and then closed the door. It had only been about 2 or 3 days since Lu Jinyu was staying, here the only problem was that my brother was probably cooming back soon.

Lu Jinyu came out of his room in a light shirt and some shorts (looking handsome as always) he ruffled his snow white hair and looked at me, "eh... do you want me to make some food." I asked awkwardly replying to his unusual stare at me. "Pfft! That's not the nice way to say 'please Irene can you make me some delicious food of yours' now repeat!" I ordered arrogantly as if I was a VIP chef for the King.

Lu Jinyu came down the steps coming closer I stood my ground unafraid he came even closer and put his hand on the table looking down on me, "Can I please have some food Irene!" I gritted my teeth at his attitude but he came even closer I could identify very colour in those spectacular eyes of his I shooed him away annoyed at why his eyes interested me so much.

"Tch! so annoying!" I muttered under my breath.

"mmh..Sure." He replied smiling.

Things were especially boring for me today as I turned on the telepathic oven on saying fry in my head and it immediately turned on. Suddenly I shockingly received a call from the one person I really didn't expect to receive a call from. I was beyond surprised I mean like how did this guy even get my number I muttered to myself curiously as I opened the call up to full screen, as it was a video call, hologram shot up in the air.

I looked at the sign to decline the call or answer on my holo-phone , as I tapped the air to answer as a polite person. In a confused/ annoyed voice I asked, "Okay first...

Why are you calling me and how the actually hell did you get my number?..."
