CHAPTER 2

"Harley, you're really trying to do this?" She asked.

"I like to make the most of my time wherever I am. I learned that in the asylum." Harley stroked her face.

But, Ivy grabbed her hand and pushed her off.

"Well, this isn't the time or the place." She walked past Harley towards the door.

Harley turned around twirling her hair.

"So you're saying we can do it later, then?" She put a piece of bubble gum into her mouth.

"No. Why would I ever do that with you? Aren't you with the Joker anyways?" Ivy turned to look at her.

"Relax, I'm just clowning around. It's what I do."

She blew a bubble with her gum. "And the Joker and I are through. He's just so mean." She made a pouty face.

"Whatever, Quinn. I'll be leaving now." Ivy exclaimed.

"Wait, I thought you said bats might catch us?"

"He'll catch you. Not me."

"Hey, no fair! I thought we were in this together! Ya, know, Harley and Ivy? It'll be fun."

"I thought you said you didn't need my help."

"I don't, but we can still hang together." Harley smirked.

"I am not gonna stick around with such an annoying pig, like you!" Ivy said as she began to sprout roots from the floor.

"Ugh, you are just like him! Always so grumpy and mean! You don't know how to have any fun!" Harley shouted.

"I can have fun. But just not with you." Ivy used the roots to create a path in the ground.

She opened it up to the sewers. She jumped down inside and looked up at Harley.

"You gonna follow me?" She asked.

"No, I am not! I don't need you!" Harley pointed her finger.

"Suit yourself." Ivy used the roots to close the hole that she had made. She fixed it up quickly with vines and all kinds of plants.

There were pink flowers and tulips and daisies.

They all blossomed in the shimmering light.

It created a barrier between Harley and Ivy.

Harley sighed.

She looked at the door and kicked it. It still didn't open. So she pulled out what she called a "boom stick" (dynamite) and placed it on the lock.

She lit it up and then stepped back.

BOOM!! It went off. The door had fallen off of its hinges.

She saw a smoking car and a huge bus. She also saw a dark figure. "Bats!" She chuckled in nervousness.

"You found me!" She pulled out her bat and put it on her shoulders.

"Enough, Harley!" He yelled as he got closer.

"Oh, shucks I guess you missed me!" She tried to think of a way to escape but she didn't have enough time.
