Ch13- The Ancient One
After Ralts joined us, I thought I should wait three more days to enter Mt.Moon. I need Ralts to get used to training and our morning routine of exercise.
"Everyone gather around....."
All of them gathered around me
"Scyther I am sorry that we lost, I will try my best to not repeat that. Ralts joined us so don't hold any grudges. She defeated us fair and square." Then I stealthily signalled towards Riolu to tell Ralts's story to Scyther.
"Scyt Scyther"
"Scyther, next three days you need to get that fury cutter to perfection and also try to teach agility to Ralts and Riolu."
"Scyther" he gave me a nod and flew away to practice.
"Now girls, You shouldn't slack off. Ralts you just do some light training, nothing heavy till you go back to full health. Riolu, I know that 3 days won't be enough to get that brick break down, so I just need you to show some improvements. We have time until we take on the second gym."
[ Sir, I will do as you say]. "Lu Riolu"
"Ralts, don't need to be so formal with me and drop that 'Sir' thing. Ralts I know telepathy is different from Aura but I think communication through Aura might have some similarities. So help Riolu every now and then, you might have a lot of experience regarding telepathy."
[Yes sir.]
Three days passed by and Scyther mastered fury cutter. Riolu and Ralts mastered Agility but Riolu was far from getting perfect in Brick Break.
"Ok everyone, that's all for practice. There is a pokemon centre near the entrance of Mt.Moon and we will stay the night there. Tomorrow we will be going through Mt.Moon, keep in mind that it might take 10-14 days if we don't get lost. So take a good rest."

Next day,
I put Scyther in the Pokeball but kept Ralts and Riolu out as they can just sit on my shoulders. Just in case, I also bought a torch and entered through a Cave like entrance.
"Riolu, if you feel any weird sound waves then they might be from a zubat flock, so inform me the next second. As for you Ralts, teleport us if we can't avoid the trouble. I know it will put stress on your mind so only teleport in circumstances where we can't avoid death."
"Riolu lu" [Yes Sir]
'She is still calling me 'Sir', Sigh.....'
We entered Mt.Moon early in the morning. I actually planned to catch a cleffa or a clefairy but now that I have Ralts I don't think it's worth the risk. The elder Clefable here has a king gene and also has the ability to use telepathy. I heard from Professor Oak that she is very ancient. What surprised me was that the professor met Clefable when he was twenty.
Cleffa line are very sacred in Kanto, it's said that the ancient one can predict the future and also the oldest living Pokemon in Kanto. Of course, this is leaving out the legendaries. It's also said that Cleffa are from a different planet and arrived here through a meteor crash. I hope that I don't get into any problems, I just want to cross this Mountain peacefully.
As if God was playing a joke on me,
[Young one, you don't belong here. I never thought I would see someone who is not from this planet. How interesting!!!! you are even acknowledged by an Aura pokemon and a Feeling Pokemon.]
'Fuck, I think I have an idea of who that voice belongs to, Does she oversee whatever happens in the whole of Mt.Moon? That's fricking crazy.'
[Don't worry, I usually don't contact with anyone. Even if its someone special like you. But I ran into a problem recently, Kanto is in big trouble and my predictions are getting disrupted by something very powerful. I need you to inform this to Oak. My telepathy is getting disrupted again and I can't talk much, tell that little girl to foll....the...Aur]
The telepathy was cut off and "Ahhhhhhhh" I felt a stinging pain. I felt like something was eating away my brain. I crashed down and screamed, not even caring for anything. l fell unconscious immediately.
Don't know after how long, I heard a sad voice
[Sir, wake up.....please don't die. You were the only one who thought I was normal and gave me food. Please Sir... wake up....]
I also felt emotions transmitted to me
'Sad, Fear and Extreme loneliness'
I think that's Riolu.
I open my eyes and slowly got up, I looked around ignoring my blurry vision. I noticed that I was still in the same spot.
"Don't worry girls, I am absolutely fine although I don't know how long I was out"
Both hugged me hard and calmed down after a bit. [Not much sir, I think around 10 minutes.]
Ok....so, Clefable said to follow the aura but who is the little girl she mentioned?
'Does she mean Riolu?'
"Riolu, do you sense any different kind of Aura around us? If so show me the way it's coming from"
She closed her eyes to sense it and she gave me a nod after a minute or so. She ran forward as if to show us the way.
Ralts teleported to sit on my head. We ran into some wild pokemon but nothing that Scyther or Riolu couldn't handle.
After a day's walk, we still couldn't reach our destination. We started running into trainers and we still couldn't reach the end.
'It's been 4 days now, everyone on the team Improved a lot, Pokedex informed us about Ralts condition and it was good news. She was healthy and can start battling.
Finally....it took us a total of 7 days. We found a narrow tunnel ahead, it was really small, half a metre width and two metres high. We went through it and reached an empty area.
Suddenly, A clefairy showed up from our right and signalled at us. She was asking us to follow her. While looking at the only fairy line in Kanto, I thought
'Man!!!!!!! Clefairy are so cute and adorable'
Then we followed her for around half a mile and we ultimately reached our destination. There was a huge pond in the middle and the whole area was lighted up. There was a huge stone which provided light to this place, I think that's the moonstone Oak talked about.

Fun Fact:
Azurill can change gender while evolving.
Due to Azurill's gender ratio meaning that 75% of the creatures are female, but its evolution Marill containing the regular 50/50 chance when assigning gender, there is actually a 1 in 3 chance that your Azurill will become male when it evolves. Some fans have debated whether this is a reference to some amphibians being able to change their gender, but whether that's true or not, this unique event will only happen prior to Generation 6.
