Ch18- Surprise at the Daycare
Short note:
I am not following the Anime timeline, I make the timeline convenient to my story.
And also I am removing the moves I don't use, from Pokedex.

Right now, I am outside the city. I am not going to do any battles on Route 5. I will train my Pokemon and then start battling on Route 6 before I reach Vermilion.
It was already night and we thought we would start training from tomorrow. I also completed my Pokedex update in the pokemon centre, now its time to scan my Pokemon.
I see Riolu annoying Scyther so I call her
"Riolu, I want to do a scan on you so can you stand in front of me for a second. You can annoy Scyther after this is done."
"Lu Riolu"
She came to me and stood still

Everything's as expected. Need to work on Special attacks. Lucario have both high Attack and Sp. Attack. It's always rare to find a pokemon with both attack and Sp. Attack, I need to make full use of her advantage.

We are staying in a tent and Ralts is keeping watch.

'Ok!!!!!! What the actual fuck. How??? why does she have two natures?'
I have no idea why but it's still a plus. Maybe because she is shiny. She will have high defence and Sp.Attack but the downside is decrease in attack, both her natures decrease attack. Is it stacked?
Anyway, she doesn't need a close distance move as she can teleport far away. So I learnt something new today. Pokemon in some cases have two natures huh? Now that brings us the question, What if they have two conflicting natures? like Quiet and Sassy.
I stopped thinking about it and took a peek at the egg, it was really getting bigger every day. A fully grown Gible is around 3 feet tall but this egg is already 2 feet tall.
"Riolu Rio.." I heard Riolu calling
"Tell me, my girl, what do you need?"
[Sir, she is saying its already late and we have to start training early in the morning.]
"Ahhh, sorry guys. Let's go to bed then. I just spaced out."

Next-day Morning
"Scy Scy Scy"
"Hawwww..." I was yawning and went outside to look for the noise. It was already late yesterday and I did not notice this in the dark...
What presented me was a breathtaking scene. The forest was humming with life all around me. I twirl about, gazing up at the canopy, I spot some Chatot's singing sweetly. The sun breaks through the cracks, lighting up the dirt path ahead of me, decorated with outgrown roots, wildflowers and fallen leaves that crunch beneath my feet.
Every time I breathe, it felt like water, fresh and cleansing, flowing freely into my lungs. In front of me, I see Scyther training. He is so dedicated.
Riolu and Ralts come out of the tent and were as surprised as me. The view in front of us was that good. Many Oddish and Tangela were playing around singing.
"It's surprising, right? But you can also see that idiot training without caring for a damn thing. I can't believe he is sharpening his blades in front of these wild pokemon, it looks like he is getting ready for a butchering session."
"Riiiooluuuu" Riolu starts laughing and runs off to annoy Scyther.
[Sir, I have been thinking to ask this but why don't you learn Aura? You can easily communicate with pokemon.]
"It's not that I don't Ralts, it's just I don't know-how. Riolu line are innately gifted so they can pick up aura from the explanation of what it is. Unlike them I can't just read a book and start training it. I have been planning to visit Kalos after my sixth or seventh badge. Evolution guru can help me with Aura. I hope it works out."
[Yes I hope you learn it.]
"Anyways let's start our routine and then go to train." I think the reason behind this beautiful environment is the Daycare Centre. They need perfect conditions for breeding and hatching. I must say that they are really doing a good job. I think Daycare is just ahead of us and we can visit them tomorrow.
These days I have been thinking to do some changes to our training. I need to come up with something new and different which will give me an edge over other trainers. I will do that after our team is big in size like 5 to 6 pokemon. We can't do much with just three pokemon in the team anyway.

One day later
"Guys its time to pack up, we will be visiting something special today and you guys will love it. Maybe, you will see your brother hatch."
Everyone was really excited, we were picking up our pace as we have to reach our destination before sunset. The egg was shaking a lot these days but there was no shining like the other eggs, I think it needs a perfect temperature to hatch. Daycare guys might help me with that.
As we were moving further, the surroundings were getting even beautiful and calming. This soothing aura around here is best for Riolu's training. I think I should stay here for some time.
We were really close to our destination as I can spot a building ahead. Then suddenly I see a silhouette, it was a girl, Daycare centre as the midpoint, we were exactly opposite to each other but our destination was the same. She looked around my age.
As we got closer, I could see who she was. She was tall, and slender young girl with wavy waist-length creamy blonde hair that has bangs covering her left eye. She was wearing straight black leg trousers, a long black coat with a V neck and a large teardrop-shaped ornament on the centre of the coat. She also wore a large, black feathery ruff around her neck with two hair clips in her hair, both resembling two teardrop-shaped objects.
'Cynthia??? What the hell is she doing here and why in the world is she so young.'
God, you are the best and I can't believe you messed up the timeline for me. (That's not God, It's the author you idiot)

Fun Fact:
The Painter Pokemon Smeargle has not been able to make use of any Technical Machines to learn moves since its introduction in Gen 2. It can, however, utilize almost every known move, including signature moves, by using Sketch to copy the last attack used by an opponent. There are exceptions to the rule though; Smeargle cannot use Sketch to copy Chatter or Struggle. Not only can Smeargle keep the copied move forever, but the creature can also pass it down to other Pokemon via breeding within its egg group.
