If Tokiwadai's game was experimental, with the coach pulling out team members for new inexperienced members, then Teiko's game was the first time in a while that the Generation of Miracles had played together.
They didn't go to practice games together, and they didn't play in-house games together.
Just one member of Generation of Miracles was problematic enough for even strong teams, but when you combined all five of them, you would get a team that would crush others on every area of the court.
Generation of Miracles was going to make their debut in their Round-2 game of Tokyo preliminaries.

Teiko had gotten warmed up and now was getting ready at their bench.
Akashi was talking to Nijimura about something.
Murasakibara was staring into the area with an indifferent and bored look while nibbling on a pocky.
Midorima had a stuffed teddy on his lap while he removed the tapping on his finger.
Aomine was sitting on the bench, looking at the ceiling of the stadium.
Kuroko had his eyes closed and was focusing himself on the game.
Satsuki was discussing something with Coach Shirogane.
Kise cheerfully hummed as he retied the laces of shoes.
He looked at Kuroko and asked him.
Kise: "Kuroko-cchi, are you excited about the game, it is my first tournament game, so I am a little nervous."
Kuroko opened his eyes and looked at Kise.
Kuroko: "I remember my first game. It was a practice game, I tripped and bloodied my nose within seconds of the start of the game. My first official game wasn't that bad; I only played one quarter, but I was just fine, trust in the team, and you will be just fine."
Kise nodded and took a deep breath to calm himself down.
-*-*-*-*-*-*-
Coach Shirogane stood in front of his team and addressed them before the game.
Coach Shirogane: "There is nothing much to say. Our team is remarkably strong this year. I will only intervene if you guys get into a problem."
He looked at the Akashi and called him forth.
Coach Shirogane: "Akashi, you can take over from here."
Coach Shirogane got up from the seat and went to the scorekeeper table to greet them.
Akashi took his place and addressed them.
Akashi: "This is our first game in the preliminaries, so we must win with a large lead to set up momentum for the remainder of the preliminaries.
So, as I proposed earlier from now on, every starter on the team will have to score twenty-points per game."
Kise smiled and replied.
Kise: "That will be fun. I am all-in for this."
Midorima nodded and replied.
Midorima: "I will do anything for the victory of the team. If the teams need twenty-points, then I will score them."
Murasakibara frowned and complained.
Murasakibara: "Ehh, is this compulsary, can't I just defend?"
Akashi shook his head and said.
Akashi: "No, you have to participate. I talked to the coach about this idea, and he supported this idea, and those who fail this task will have to do punishment training."
Murasakibara frowned deepened, and he grumbled as he stuffed some chips into his mouth to feel better.
Akashi looked at Aomine. Aomine felt his gaze, so he looked at Akashi and said.
Aomine: *Sigh* "I will do it. It's not like I have a choice. I don't want to do the punishment training."
Kuroko looked at his teams and felt that they had changed from before.
-*-*-*-*-*-*-
Akashi looked at Satsuki and called her so she could take over.
Satsuki faced the team with a clipboard and gave them the information about their opponent of the game.
Satsuki: "Sagami Middle School has a defensive-style play. They focus on defense and play an endurance game. All players train in ground defense, screens, and pressure defense to win games.
Their coach is a strict man, who doesn't allow any nonsense in the club, he likes players, who don't try to stand out and play team defense."
She flipped a page on her clipboard and continued.
Satsuki: "They play man-to-man defense like us, but unlike us, they aren't flexible and don't change their tactics mid-game as we do."
She passed a few sheets of data on Sagami's players to pass around and explained.
Satsuki: "Please look at the players' stats and their strengths and weaknesses. I have also mentioned what new things they might try to do in today's match.
I have also added a suggestion on who our players should mark in our defense matchups to get the maximum results."
She pointed at Akashi and revealed.
Satsuki: "I shared this information with Akashi-kun a few days before, so he will be able to make plays that will be effective against Sagami's team."
She lowered her clipboard and concluded.
Satsuki: "According to my research, our chances of winning against Sagami Middle School are a one-hundred percent."
Satsuki smiled as she finished her contribution and said.
Satsuki: "I wish you all the best of luck for the game."
Akashi smiled as he said.
Akashi: "Momoi-san, I thank you on behalf of the team and club, your analytical data has made players job of researching the opponent extremely easy."
Kise raised his hands and agreed.
Kise: "Momo-cchi, you are the best!"
Midorima wholeheartedly agreed with that.
Midorima: "Momoi, you are as important to the club as the players themselves. You contribute both in practice and in official games. Thank you."
Aomine nodded and added.
Aomine: "Satsuki is smart. Extremely smart."
Murasakibara fished a candy from his bag and gave it to Satsuki.
Murasakibara: "Sa-chin, helped me to spend my pocket money on candies, such that I could get the most of the money I had."
Kuroko smiled and gave his own compliment.
Kuroko: "Momoi-san, thank you for all your services, and please continue to support us."
Satsuki teared up, listening to all the guys on the team. She smiled and said.
Satsuki: "Un, thank you."
She couldn't say anymore and raised her hands to wipe the tears pooling in her eyes.
Akashi clapped his hands and said.
Akashi: "Now, let's get going and win this game."
He extended his hands for a team huddle.
One by one, everyone put their hands together in the center, and Akashi shouted.
Akashi: "100 Battles, 100 Victories! Ever-Victorious!"
All: "100 Battles, 100 Victories!!! Ever-Victorious!!!!"
With that, Teiko descended on the court and gave a performance that shocked everyone in the stadium and later anybody who heard about it.
In Round-2, Teiko Middle School won the game against Sagami Middle School with a score of 148 – 31.
