Is It Now A Crime To Be Grateful?

"Hmm...Deb, it's getting late, we will talk tomorrow."

Deb Oh could feel the mental wall her uncle erected suddenly crashing down on her, because she was a highly sensitive person (HSP) her emotion was at a higher level than other people who were not HSP.

"I did it, I just had to call him out on being so obnoxious but why should I keep quiet when he is complaining about something so trivial and irrelevant! What is wrong with people?! Can't he see that it is a blessing to have a normal child regardless of if he or she was beautiful or not so handsome?! Is it now a crime to be grateful for the things that one is opportune to have? Does being a churchgoer make a person to be less thankful?"

Already Deb Oh's mind had gone to overdrive from excessively analyzing the speech of her uncle which she thought to be devoid of appreciation towards every day life events.

"Goodnight Uncle, sleep well. I'll talk to you tomorrow when you get back. Enjoy your day at work!"

Hiding the disappointment that she felt on knowing their conversation was brought to a close. Deb Oh said her farewell to her uncle albeit in a reluctant way.
