"Waaaahhhh"
-What is this horrendous noise?!!
He quickly turns his head to see that the one making the noise was Hime. The one he saved from the darkness.
For him, these screams were more than hurtful to him, because most of his instincts are that of a superhuman. It would feel like a speaker was a max volume right in your ear.
-Ahhh what is thiss. Why... I saved you, why are you trying to kill me...
Please someone save me, he thought to himself.
With a determined, but sour expression he thought to himself, "I have got to escape." He glances at his surroundings to just see walls that look like jail bars. With cold sweat running down his face. His first sense of fear had surfaced. He was afraid of his own sister.
As fast as he possibly could, he struggled with all his might to get over the crib. And right when he was about to fall off the crib.
The father who just woke up from the baby's sound. Goes to check them to see if everything is alright because he is a father now. So he goes down downstairs and the first thing that he sees is his own baby trying to commit suicide.
He starts running like a madman, he trips on the rug, and Hiko falls on his stomach.
"Ahh, safe," He says while smiling like an idiot, thinking that he was so cool just now.
"What was that noise!" she screamed after running to see what happened. And to her surprise, she saw her husband, on the floor looking like an idiot.
"Why'd I have to marry this idiot," she mutters to herself.
"Did you say something honey?"
"I said I'll make some breakfast right now. Look after the children"
"Wait, don't leave me alone here."
"Welp, what can I do, and strangely she stopped crying."
He puts me back in the crib. And starts doing silly faces.
"I'm funny, aren't I?"
-What is this guy doing, his facial expressions look disgusting, and that was when he'd acquired his emotion of disgust.
He started looking at his father like he was the worst piece of garbage on the planet, even his sister beside Hiko looked at his father the same way. Their eyes emotionless and their faces were blank.
Daisuke over went to the corner and started counting the amount of money he had in his wallet. To make himself feel better.
Hime and Hiko started observing each other like they were observing a different specimen. Hiko had a small amount of dark blue hair growing, he had dark blue eyes that look like the deep sea. While Hime had the same look hair and eye color, their only difference was that Hime had more hair.
"ha," she said while looking down at me even though we were about the same height.
I did not understand what "ha" meant, but I just knew it wasn't anything good. I had a vain on the side of my head that had just surfaced. I felt a new emotion, annoyance.
...
*Hime was like Hiko, but not like him at the same time. Hiko had he began being able to perceive things while he was in the stomach of his mother. While Hime, on the other hand, had begun perceiving things a month before she was taken out of the stomach. But, because she was closer to farther away from her mother's belly, she was able to understand/hear more of her mother more clearly. Even though she was not as smart as Hiko, she still had an understanding of things. She doesn't even know why she just wants to be better than Hiko at everything.
...
"Breakfast is ready, bring the children to the table honey."
Struck out of his daze from counting money.
"Ah. Ha. Ha. Yeah, ok." He says while putting his money in his wallet, but drops two coins on the rug(A big one, and a smaller one)
He picks up the children and places both of them in the highchair. Even though we both resisted at first, we stopped after looking at our mother's demeaning(cold) expression.
"The eggs smell soooo good, thank you for the food honey" *Muah*
He kisses her on the cheek. "Is it really that good?" She says while expecting him to praise him again.
"Hmm, now that I think about it, it could use more love"
Surprised, she blushes and starts hugging him from behind.
"I-Is this alr-right" *embarrassed.
"Yeah, it's all good, thank you for loving me," he says.
Hime and I were just watching them the whole time, our emotions were so cold that for a second, our parents felt something ominous creep upon them.
We were still uncomfortable in the high chair, but it wasn't as bad as being in the stomach. They didn't get fed. They were just put on the high chair for their parents' own amusement.
While they were putting something in their mouth, they would sometimes glance at us and giggle.
"Woah, I'm gonna be late for work!"
"Can't you just stay for a little while longer, and finish your food?"
"No can do, I'm already late as it is, bye-bye honey"
"Bye"
"Ahh, I forgot to feed the kids," She says and quickly gets some instant baby milk(formula) and gives both of us a bottle like she just forgot about feeding us entirely.
She put us in the crib and just left just like that.
*What useless parents...
Hime and I were confused at what this bottle was. I was curious so I tested it at first by putting my mouth over it because it was what they were doing a second ago. (mimicry, something kids often do at a young age)
I don't know why, but when I put my mouth over it, I just began sucking on it. It was a weird feeling or maybe it was an instinct.
Hime was trying the same thing, but couldn't get the formula to just come out.
While I was drinking the formula, I saw that she couldn't drink it and her face was getting red from sucking the bottle again and again with nothing coming out whatsoever.
I acquired a new emotion, pity. I began lifting the bottle up for her so that she could drink it.
Right when I was about to say "ha"
I saw her satisfied expression, and I just instinctively stopped. I might've smiled a little bit. Adoration.
I was bored staying in the crib so I waited for her to sleep so I could sneak out, but she didn't sleep she was just staring at me. It wasn't of pride or any other emotion like that. It was like she was recognizing me for someone that she could trust.
I understood that and began to climb out of the crib because I saw something shiny on the ground.
(He went out perfectly this time, instead of just falling over he used the ledge of the crib, where the *jail bars* are and put his feet there to climb out.) He still fell because his legs weren't strong enough to hold himself yet so, he stumbled a bit on the ground.
Hime was just watching him the whole time and after he got out. She began to do the same thing Hiko did on her first try. Hime had also seen the coins for when she was in the crib and began crawling towards the first one she could see. While Hiko observed a circle light on the ceiling. In a daze, he could see where the light reflected off of and it was a coin.
Hime wanted to show off the coin to Hiko. But, before she could she saw that he had a bigger coin than hers. And her expression excited expression had faded. When he heard Hime stop he just knew that she was feeling down and gave her the bigger coin.
Her expression didn't change.-Why is Hime still feeling down? I thought to myself.
I had an idea. I went back to the crib(it wasn't that far off from the ground) and grabbed her bottle, which was harder than it sounded like. When I'd finally given her the bottle, she dropped the coins and began drinking the formula, changing out the expression to that of a satisfied one. We sat against the wall, and I was just watching her satisfied expression while drinking the formula.
I was slowly falling asleep because I used too much energy in my body to do those tasks. But, I felt like I had to just stay up until she was asleep. Hime understood that her brother was falling asleep just as she was, but she felt like she had to help him some way and put the bottle in his mouth. Hiko at that moment the only thing that came through his mind when he was drinking the formula, was his baby instincts and he started to drink it until he fell asleep.
Sitting up against the wall Hiko and Hime who was sleeping on his lap silently. Was the picture that their parents could not forget.
///Well, they also took a picture of this for their family album
5 Years later...
