Not an Idle Threat

"Hmmph! Chest hog." Vira pouted as the door suddenly slammed open.

"..." Tanya stood there, deadpan. She was in the middle of something very important. Words could not describe how much she had put in to bring Penelope into such a mood where they could say things that usually would not be said otherwise.

She had snapped.

Centuries of mental fortitude training, centuries of dealing with annoying ministers and arrogant fools… Tanya had finally felt the fire within burst through her eyes.

'I warned you.' Tanya menacingly glared at Vira with a hatred unknown to many.

This is the first time Tanya had felt such pure fury in her heart.

Penelope looked to Tanya, rather surprised when she saw the young lady's expression. Penelope could feel the heat radiating from Tanya like a fire in the woods. It almost suffocated her in the sheer pressure of it all.
