THREATS OF DEATH.

Two days to the expiration of the deadline given by the herbalist, Nneka husband was yet to confess the atrocities that lead to their ten years of barrenness and closed heaven.

Even while it was clear that he would die, Kazzim refused to say anything after much begging and assurances of soft landing.

As at this time, Nneka had forgotten what Kazzim did to Ope in their house. All what Nneka wanted was for him to be out of the situation at hand.

The thought of early widowhood began to kill Nneka gradually. Nneka called Toyin, informing her about everything she needed to know about her in case she didn't make it.

The emotional trauma Nneka was going through was more terrible than what Kazzim was going through.

Nneka narrated to the herbalist what Kazzim did to Ope but he said he had already seen that with his powers and that's not what caused his sickness. Nneka knelt down and began to beg the herbalist not to let her husband die. "Please sir, do everything you can do to save his life, I will pay you anything you charge."

Herbalist: "My daughter, there are only two ways to this matter if he must not die. It's either he confesses or you exchange with your life to save his."

Nneka: "..." What? How can I give my life in exchange for a man who caused me barrenness for over ten years? Kassim is not worth dying for".

Nneka went back to the herbalist again to check

if there are still other options.

Nneka: Is there any option for my husband?

Herbalist: "Yes, we can force him to confess with spiritual powers but he will die immediately after the confession."

Nneka became really confused and she instantly fainted because she had not eaten for two whole days.

After Nneka was revive from her fainted state, she called Toyin to update her of the situation at hand because only one day was left for Kassim to die.

Toyin: "Nneka, you know I am not with you in all these paths you are threading. I am a Christian and I don't

want to be part of this but I will call baba pastor as soon as you drop this call".

Nneka: "Thank you very much my lovely friend, may the Lord bless ur effort as u stand by my during this trying times. Thank you". Nneka said and dropped the

call.

Two minutes later Toyin called back, she said.

Toyin: "Baba pastor will call you now", she informed her.

Nneka: "Okay, I will be expecting his call".

The pastor called like he promised.

Pastor: "Sister Nneka, I have been praying for you and your husband since you left my place the other time and God assured me your husband will not die, but..." Nneka interrupted baba because she didn't want to hear the word 'but'.

This is the best thing Nneka have heard in the past

one month. She know baba is not a fake pastor, his words are like oracle and can be trusted.

Nneka: "Sir, I will leave first thing tomorrow morning to Lokoja to see you".

Nneka put up a fake smile to make her in-laws believe her husband will not die. As Nneka was about hanging up the call... baba told her: "You must come with him if you don't want him to die. If he remains there till tomorrow, he will surely die".

It was not difficult convincing her in-laws to let them take him back to Lokoja because they were already in mourning mood for her husband as if he was gone.

They took Kassim that afternoon and embarked on the journey to Lokoja. The journey was really rough

but Jehovah God bless baba who was following them up with prayers.

They had three terrible accidents on their way.

Death was bent on taking Kassim but thank Jehovah God for the power of his son Jesus Christ.

"Who is he that say it, and it come not to pass? When the Lord commanded it will not, it will surely come to past.

They defiled all the threats of death, they walked

through the valley of shadow of death, but Jehovah God through Baba's prayers took them back to Lokoja safely.

Praise Jehovah God! Nneka father-in-law and her brother-in-law saw the demonstration of the power of Jehovah God through out the journey and they were optimistic Kassim will be well again.

They drove straight to the church to see baba pastor.

Toyin was already in church with baba and the prayer team interceding on their behalf.

Nneka was ashamed when she met with baba and Toyin because of her weak faith.

Unconfessed sins are chain that keeps a man in perpetual prison of life.

Imagine ten years of barrenness and many years of emotional guilt that Nneka went through.

Who would have though she will compromise with her faith when she had her husband will die if she delay.
