Sparring

Lancer blocked another blow from Rider, crumbling the ground underneath him once more.

The male took a glance at the garden that had been riddled with holes from the punch or kick impact from the said male. Some of the trees had even fallen. He was sure his Master wouldn't be happy seeing the current state but hey, she didn't tell him to hold back or anything at all.

"Those big punches of yours still can't touch me, old man," he snarled, teeth bared open as he twirled his spear, a subconscious thing he did to prepare himself for a strike.

"HAH!" He shouted, jabbing his spear with an inhuman speed at the bulkier male's vital points.

"Hahaha! Good! Good!"

Rider never had this much fun in ages. His opponent kept going at him with quick and relentless stabs aimed at his vitals letting the crimson tips miss as he pushed on unfazed, keeping eyes attuned with each stab.

Despite Rider's size, he weaved with ease and answered with a few moves of his own, he winds up his fist and shoots them at Lancer with blinding speed, grazing some of his skin with the intense air pressure coming out of Rider's speedy punches.

"Is this all you got boy?"  For Rider, this is a slugfest that needs to end quickly but where's the fun in that? Rider kept himself close not letting Lancer get his advantage at a ranged position. Stabs and a flurry of punches came out faster than a normal mortal eye can see.

"Let me see ya twirl your spear now." Rider laughed trying to mock Lancer to get him off focus.

Lancer's hands moved at the speed of light, blocking the flurry of punches with his spear. The sound of metal hitting hard surfaces echoed each time the ranged weapon came in contact with the mad fists.

"Heh." Lancer smirked. He might have blocked all the punches but the sharp air pressure left various parts of his body to sting. It's getting harder and harder to keep himself under control, the man's taunting merely riled him up even more.

"You will no longer say that, old man." He said once the barrage of punches stopped, immediately twisting his body around to land a swift kick on the male's chest, succeeded in making the man skidded back for a bit but that's enough. His spear had a tough time in this close range battle.

When the swift kick landed on Rider's chest he could do nothing else but laugh. The impact is nothing but a scratch as it was mostly absorbed by his thick muscles. Rider hoped to get a chance to hurl Lancer by grabbing his leg but that opportunity came to pass when Lancer jumped back to create some distance.

"Are you going to twirl some more?" he said as he patted the dirt left on his chest.

The towering servant bent his knees low, changing his stance into a much lower one and clawed fingers and toes to dig into the earth. The pressure rocked Rider's silver hair backwards revealing his wide wrinkled grin.

"Hahahaha! Let me show you what a real impact really feels like!"

He leaped off the ground like a bullet charging at Lancer at fast speed, behind him the leaves danced with the wind violently, the silver wolves growled and howled on top of a distant tree, Their excitement unconstrained as they revealed their sharp set of fangs.

Rider is all hyped up and prepares a short explosive punch that's aimed at Lancer's liver.

Lancer tried to block the incoming attack, swinging his spear. But surprisingly, the punch moved too fast for him to react and he gritted his teeth, bracing himself for the strike.

The punch immediately struck his gut and threw him a few feet away. Swiftly, he stabbed his spear and sank his feet to the ground to lessen the impact. The earth cleaved easily from the spear's sharpness and force, as it scattered dust and dirt in the air and all over the place.

"That's a nice punch you got there, old man," he said, eyes gleaming as he finally skidded to a stop, a trail of hollowness laid out in front of him.

The male stood up and picked up his impaled weapon from the ground while spitting blood to the side.

"Hone your body like you hone your weapon," Rider said as he approached Lancer while cracking his knuckles. "Without that spear of yours you're nothing boy."

Rider materialized his old gear in thin air, bringing back his blue vest, pants, and shiny greaves. He used  his towering height to glower sharp at the grinning blue haired opponent in front of him.

"If this was a real battle you would have been dead." Rider's malevolent aura started to emerge like a blue wild-fire, its energy caused the ground beneath him to erupt and rumble, the tiny pebbles created by the battle jumped up and down.

"Underestimate me again and i'll show no mercy." Rider then smiled and the ferocious aura subsided.

"Come boy, I've fought cocky spear wielders like you a lot more than you can count," Rider then offered his hand poking fun at Lancer. "I'll train you for a bit, so that next time you don't lose your arm again."

Lancer dusted the dirt off his spear before flinging it to his shoulder, raising an eyebrow.

"So, we're both holding ourselves back," he said, grinning, the corner of his eyes crinkling upward.

"But next time." The male's eyes glinted with bloodlust, a smile still present on his face.

The air suddenly turned cold as red mist coiled and twisted around the male. All noise seemed to die down as if they were holding their breaths, in fear for their impending doom by a predator's fang.

"It will be a death match. Don't underestimate me either, old man."

A sudden wind blew through the air, rustling the leaves among the trees. Its fallen brethren swirled on the ground, covering the remnants of the battle. The thick, chilling aura continued to hang in the air.

He beamed and the dark aura immediately dissipated as if it wasn't there in the first place.

"I'll take you up on that offer, old man."
