Chapter 6: We aren't all winners

He sighed completely forgetting he was on a call taking in the silence, "Hey Seth?" Derry said breaking the silence making the dark haired teen flinch. "Yeah?..." "Are you okay? we can report this for cyberbullying and tell the school about everyone." The teen spoke in a serious tone, "Nah man! My parents actually went out to a job thing... they're just being dorks" "Okay, but you know you dont always have to be so positive about all this, it can really hurt you.." "I got it bro, dont worry" Seth smirked and got up, "hey so since my parents are out are you up to coming over?" "Really?" "yeah man, itll get a bit lonely having the whole house to myself" Seth giggled.

The two laughed and agreed on a time, tomorrow after school as a sleepover. "Ehh i gotta get ready to go to bed... see ya tomorrow?" "yeah!" Seth smiled as the beeps that indicated the call were heard. The black haired teen went over to his room and got ready for bed excited to see his friend.

As the next day rolled around Seth got up excitedly and got ready, he grabbed his necessities and ran out to school, it was quiet early and he was shocked to find he was the only one there for now, he wandered around before finding a small group of people huddled up behind the building. "He has to lose his positivity at some point" "No way, did you see the way he turned everything into something positive? He probably thought of something for the post too" "Why wont he just snap" "Heyy i got an idea..", Seth tried to lean closer to hear the plan but he accidentally fell, exposing his hiding spot.

"Hey creep! Why don't you stop listening in on people's conversations?!" One of them said as the others smirked, "Sorry, i just figured if im so popular i should be allowed to hear how cool i am considering you guys love talking about me" Seth got up smiling. The students huffed in frustration. As time flew by the students began whispering, "Hey, if you have something to say, say it out loud." Seth said in a serious tone which sent shivers down the students, "uhh..It is about the lesson today, we are all very excited to start learning about it" One of them said quickly before everything went silent, the only sound that was heard was the leaves from the trees moving by the wind.
