Saints going marching in Ms.Yuri style.

A slight breeze had blown by, it wasn't too big but big enough to make the marching band look intimidating as hell as they stood in set. So early in the morning Zach had thought as he sat there yawning. The band had no idea what was going on seeing only Ms.Yuri and the drum majors were all in a huddle with each other. But as they stood more and more of the kids became anxious and started to move. There was only a slight second where Zach could hear them talking. "We can't switch out the movement?" Asked a drum major. Ms. Yuri replies with a head shake. "It too vital the move is." When they finally dispersed Ms.Yuri said "relax! shake it out!" As every band member flailed their arms and legs to stretch them. "Alright clarinets. That set is pretty tough. Next time we go back to set try jazz running." The clarinets nodded as they stood back at parade rest.

When Ms. Yuri called back to set there was something off as the way she said it. Zach noticed everyone noticed, everyone, became really anxious when they saw their band director. The demonic part of Ms.Yuri took over and changed her appearance once more. Nobody dared move as she looked up at everyone. " I am sorry for people who now have to see this...But this is the only time I will ever ask you to promise me something this big… Keep it away from other eyes only band eyes will see this... only eyes I can trust." Everyone nodded, seeing that most did not have a religion. The only one that did was Brandon and he was not here today. Most of the band believes he got suspended or kicked out of marching band. No one actually really knows, but Zach looked over to the trumpet section, they looked miserable. Not only are the trumpets miserable, they look sad, but not sad as in Brandon leaving, sad as in the crow croaked finally. Something must've happened to them or they wouldn't have looked this way. Zach wanted to know as curious as a cat he acted.

While everyone kept staring at Ms.Yuri it started to get uncomfortable, for both director and students. "I will answer questions after today if you'd like." Ms. Yuri said unsettled. The whole ensemble began to chat about it again once more. Until Ms.Yuri called gush and go. While the whole band ran to their jugs of water and ran quickly back to their set. "Alright, Eliot hit the Met!" She said signaling Eliot who quickly turned on the met. As the band followed Matt in his endless hold for the trombones. Who were playing whole notes going up and back down half a step with accents. Then the clarinets jazz running in different directions trying to make it over to the fifty-yard line in on six counts to form a line so that they could follow the leader off of. It turned out nicely for the clarinets who were by the forty-five. But not nice for the two that were by the thirty. Which were Ella and Derek. When those two jazz run they had to double the speed to make it over. By the time they had ran the set a couple of times, Zach noticed that his girlfriend was dripping sweat, jazz running with no instrument was hard enough now doing it while playing came at a price. Ella began to pant heavily as she played ascending sixteenth notes. Causing her to get very light headed, with one quick motion Ella was down on the ground in pain. The back of her head was hurting as if someone had put full force into the back of her head. "Stop!" Yelled Ms. Yuri , she went on the field to get Ella. As the teacher approached, a color guard member stood in shock and nearly in tears. "I

didn't mean to hit her." She said with wide eyes. Sara then approached her "it's ok Tammy, accidents happen, that's why we learn from our mistakes. So don't J toss like that again."

Ella groaned in pain, and it worries Zach. Though he couldn't move because he was in set. Part of him was wanting to be at her side. Robbie saw Zach trying to move out of set. "Don't... move," Robbie said gritting his teeth. The drum majors stood at their posts waiting for the next command. Nobody moved until Ms.Yuri touched Ella's forehead and Ella shot up immediately. She stood up and shook it off, when Ms.Yuri stood up she touched the back of her head and looked over at the color guard member who had hit her. " that really does hurt." She said as she walked back to the track part of the field. "alright, let's run that one more time and hey tuba and trombones." The two sections looked up at her. "Can you guys hear me?" They nodded "Alright, hi, umm when you get to sectionals I want both sections to combined and work on that call and response it's a little delayed, and Trombones those are accented it's supposed to be tongued hard on the attack. " she said making a fist "give it a real good punch you'll feel so much more confident." She said tapping the gock block "Alright let's try this again RESET!" As every student rushed back to their old set. Ms. Yuri then signaled Eliot to start the Met once more. Then the trombones waited their rest and started to move again. When they began to go to their last set. Zach became tired and fell backwards. He got back up rather quickly as the marching band wasn't planning to stop yet. As the last set of movement one was hit everyone dissipated and went to their water it was rounding the end of day, and there was some people not a lot in the stands.

One however caught everyone's eye including the directors, a man dressed in a black robe with a tiny white square in the middle of his collar. Ms. Yuri could not help but wonder what a priest would be doing here. He approached the railing of the gate and leaned on it. "Hello I'm Father Joseph, May I say that show was quiet clever." He said to Ms.Yuri who was inches a way. "It's not complete yet father, we still have three more scenes that we are working on." It was rather odd to the band, that a demon was talking to a priest. As they began murmuring and whisper about the two. Until Ms. Yuri caught on to what they were doing. "Water break ends in three minutes if I were you I'd get to your set. Matt circle drill please." The Father smiled. "What are they doing now?" Ms. Yuri looked over. "Circle drill, it helps with their upper body vocalize to a point." She said as she pointed to the large tripod that was being put in the middle of the field. Kids sat in fear, as the tripod was put up, for no one liked circle drill. Danny on the other hand who he and the freshmen were confused. "What do scary about a pole." Zach looked over wide eyed "that pole you had to vocalize too if you don't you die and there will be no stopping unless Ms.Yuri says so." Danny now had felt that same fear. "Some many posts! I will die!" Lindsey over years the conversation. "Danny, it's only scary when you want it to be. For instance did you know Zach was terrified of missing a step off." Zach turned red. "I forgot you were there for that..." All the seniors and juniors laughed. "We all remember dork!" Robbie said as he stood up to get back to his set. The whole trombone section stood up and took their places on the field.

As the second week of band camp had started the more they had noticed how often the priest came around. Always in his uniform of god, always watching everything that the band did. But he was more watchful towards Ms.Yuri and how she handles everything. It was honestly ticking her off and everyone in the band could see it. "Alright kiddos it'll be awhile before we can put the fourth scene on the field. But I think it's good, to make people ask themselves what gonna happen where will this lead. Section leaders start helping them memorize the third scene while I go and get the dot sheets that both Sara and I had forgotten about." As the two walked the priest had gotten closer, and entered onto the track and field. While drum majors were running drill as the priest walked into the block the back drum major was trying to get him off of it. But he wouldn't have it, he stood in the block while the band was marching sixteen forward and eight left slide and repeating until they got to the end of the field. "Please sir," Eliot begged "we don't want you to get hurt." The drum major then grabbed the priest shoulder, and the chaos began. "Tell me!" He shouted the whole band stopped and looked at the man who was yelling at the drum major. "Tell me about her!!" Eliot tilted his head "what do you mean who's she?" The priest became wide eyed. "Your band director! Do you know what she is?!" Eliot lied "a human like us?" The priest shook his head "no-nonono this cant be!" He said as began to pace back and forth. At a moment he ran to the block and pulled a kid out his position. "Do you know!?" The kid shook his head. The priest began pulling random kids out of block until he reached Zach. When he began to be pulled he began to hold his place firmly. "Do you know boy?!" Zach shook his head and looked forward not making any eye contact with the man. "That's enough!" Yelled Ms.Yuri. The priest stopped. At the time there was no one on the field except for the marching band, color guard, directors, and the priest. "you unholy sinner!" Ms. Yuri sat in distraught. "Who are you taking to father?" He pointed to the director. "You, you unholy satan!" Everyone watched as the priest began to terrorize the director and it's kids. When he was done on his rant, Ms. Yuri sat in silence. "Everyone call your parents band practice had ends early today." She said with the same purple eyes that were full of hate that Zach saw for the first time.
