"By the power vested on me, I hereby pAs I walked announce you Dame Aeliana Maria Alphus."
I stood up and faced the crowd, everyone started clapping.
I turned and looked at the High Priestess, she was smiling but I could sense she was sad, she wanted to say something. Maybe it was because of her lost daughter.
"Your daughter is safe," I whispered.
Her eyes widened when I said that. She looked at me for a while then she smiled.
"She is a lot of trouble, please keep her safe." Though she didn't open her mouth I could hear her.
It took me a while to realize she used magic. I smiled and nodded at her. This kind of woman is about to die, but I will save her.
As I walked down away from the high priestess my whole body starts feeling strange. It felt like someone was staring at me. I turned back and looked up where the families of young knights were seated.
They were staring at me. I smiled at them but they flinched. My smile is scary, I get it.
I walked out of there and took deep breathes.
"Princess! You did great!!" Serena said running up to me.
I patted her back. "Your mother is very kind, why did you run?"
Her eyes widened. "How did you..."
I smiled at her.
"I know everything. Let's go to the garden and talk, you know where it is, Right?"
She gulped at my sentence and pulled from there. The garden, this is how they will enter the Temple.
. . .
The two of us sat down under huge a tree.
"So why did you actually run?" I asked her.
"I... don't wang to be a holy Priestess like my mother. I want to be in action," she said.
"If you wanted action why did you come to Alphus House?"
"The other Priest doesn't like the idea of a woman of the Holy blood being in War and all and then your mother was also If a Holy Blood Descendant, and she was in the war, she fought and I thought she could help me."
I looked at her confused. "My mother died ages ago."
"I... had an accident when I was 11 years old which made me sleep for 13 years. I woke up 5 years ago and was never allowed to leave so I didn't know. When I ran I found out Miss Amelia was already dead and had a son and a daughter, and her daughter is just like her, so..."
"So you thought I could help you?"
She nodded at that. She didn't have her secret and told me everything. This girl trusts a person too fast and this wasn't on the book. Did I miss a chapter or something?
"I can help you."
She looked at me with wide eyes.
"Really?"
"Yes, but you need to help me back," I said.
She thought for a moment "What help do you need from me?"
"I don't know but you can be very helpful." Honestly, I don't know what she can help me with but I know that she is someone strong. If she gets connected with the Temple then I will have a strong alliance by my side.
"You don't have a good built to be a warrior but your magic is something I can help you with," I said.
She looked a little disappointed at that but she smiled.
I remembered something, the most important thing.
"You are good at healing magic right?" I asked.
"Nae? Nae!" she answered confused
"Will you keep this disguise?" I asked her.
She nodded at that. Well, I learned a lesson right now. 'Serena isn't quite the talker.'
I looked at the giant clock tower of the temple. 11:30.
'The clock's both arms hit 12, hundreds of men ran through the gate of the garden of the Holy Garden. They ran in the temple and killed every priest and priestess there including the Holy Priestess. The Young Dame fought with bravery and defeated them but sadly she lost an eye.'
'Faith, Chapter 26_The Story of The One-Eyed Dame.'
Most people don't know this but Aeliana has her left eye covered with her hair. That is because in this very day while fighting the assassins of the Triage. A society that does not believe in Gods or The Temple but an evil deity, they are considered criminals.
In one of the chapters, they kidnap the FL and use her to summon the Evil Deity but they are not successful and while saving her, The General dies.
Just thinking about it makes me cry.
*ting!* The temple bell rang. I looked at her. I took out one of the swords and passed it to Serena.
"Princess?" she asked shocked.
"Open your disguise," I said.
"But..."
"Now!"
I looked at her, she stopped her disguising magic. Her long hair flows down and her eyes shine brightly. I might turn blind by beauty.
"You want action?" I asked her.
"Huh?"
"You got it."
Just when I finished it, hundreds of men jumped from the other side of the wall and ran in with swords and guns.
I looked at Serena, she had frozen.
"Cast a barrier," I ordered her.
She stared at me for a moment before doing what I asked her.
Thankfully, they had not noticed us.
"You want action? This will be your first action."
