Chapter 5

The reason Ling Jian was getting angry at Yuki because the towel which she was using was barely covering her body. Even though sword palace is a completely safe place and no one will dare to do anything, Ling Jian still can't accept her lax behaviour. And even if someone tries to do anything, it won't be an exaggeration to say that they'll have every bone in their body broken.

While Ling Jian is blowing her fuse over Yuki's nonchalant behaviour, Yuki turns around, walks to the bed and sits on it. Her hair which is still damp is sticking to her skin, the towel which is reaching above her knees is leaving her toned legs and a bit of her thighs visible. Yuki folds one leg over the other, the towel which was reaching just above her knees has now slid backwards quite a bit, making her thighs even more visible. It would be hard for someone to look away but contrary to that Ling Jian doesn't even care about that. But seeing Yuki's beautiful face up close does make her heart race a bit, but she suppresses it quite skillfully.

"So why are you here, little Ling?" Yuki smilingly asks

"My name is Ling Jian, not Little Ling" Ling Jian retorts angrily

"I know" Yuki amusingly adds "but I like little Ling better"

"You.." Blood vessels have now popped out on Ling Jian's head.

"If you keep making that face, your face will be stuck like that, you know"

'this girl, I want to punch her' Ling Jian is trying so hard to cover her anger. Seeing Ling Jian's furious face, Yuki feels that she should stop joking around.

"Okay, okay don't be angry. Come sit here and tell me why you are here?" Yuki says

Ling Jian takes a deep breath and exhales, she is still angry but she decides to let it go and do what she came for. She drags a chair to the edge of the bed closer to Yuki, sits on it. There is less than an arm's length between the two of them, as soon as Ling Jian sits on the chair, a sweet fragrance enters her nose. It's coming from Yuki and it's enough to make people intoxicated. But Ling Jian clears her mind and says in a resolute voice.

"Before we start, promise me you'll answer my questions truthfully,"

Yuki nods her head and says "okay"

"What were you doing in the Ancestral Shrine's small house?"

"I don't know"

"Didn't you promise me now that you'll answer my questions truthfully?"

"I did" Yuki replies. she also adds "and this is the truth, I don't know what I was doing there. In fact, that was the first time I saw that house"

'From her facial expressions, it doesn't seem that she is lying' Ling Jian is listening as well as observing Yuki.

"When were you sealed?"

"a long time ago" Yuki answers.

"Can you tell the exact timeline?"

"I can't"

"why?"

"You are not qualified to know that yet," Yuki says that without batting an eye. Ling Jian gets a bit angry hearing that but she doesn't let it show on her face and she asks the next question.

"Who sealed you?"

"I can't tell that either"

"Is it also related to me not being qualified?" Ling Jian asks in a grumpy tone. Yuki doesn't say anything, she just listens. Ling Jian then adds "Then tell me when will I be qualified?"

"If you want to know about me, then become a heavenly realm master, and if you want to know the circumstances behind my sealing" Yuki pauses here and then slowly adds "become a godly realm master"

"Godly realm?" Ling Jian suddenly shouts. It would be more accurate to call it a surprisingly loud shout. The reason why Ling Jian sounds so surprised because the Godly realm is the realm of the overlords. People in that realm can call for winds and rain with the palm of their hands. It won't be an exaggeration to say that it's harder than climbing heavens.

In this world, cultivation can be divided into 5 realms. first is the earth realm, second is the mortal realm, third is the sky realm, fourth is the heavenly realm, and the fifth is the Godly realm. There is also another realm known as the mythical realm but not many people know about it as not a single person has ever managed to reach that realm.

Seeing Ling Jian's surprised expression, Yuki just smiles. Seeing Yuki smile Ling Jian recalls her early shout and becomes embarrassed. Well, one can't really blame her as many in her shoes would have the same reaction.

"I am sorry, I reacted a bit too strong"

"It's fine, don't worry about it"

Yuki finds Ling Jian's embarrassed expression to be cute, she smiles even more and says

"Little Ling, I've answered your questions, now answer a few of mine."

As soon as she hears Yuki call her Little Ling, her embarrassed expression is gone and now she is glaring at Yuki, but she still decides to not say anything and hear her questions. Yuki doesn't mind her glaring at all, without paying attention to that she asks

"Who is the current Immortal emperor?"

"There is none" Ling Jian replies, she also adds "the last emperor this world had was two generations ago"

"Who was it?"

"Emperor Kiiara from the immortal fist sect"

"Why are you asking about it?"

"I just wanted to know, that's all" Yuki nonchalantly replies

"Anything else?"

"Well, there are still many things I like to know about this world, but it can wait" Yuki then makes a helpless expression "but for now can I get something to eat?"

Hearing that, Ling Jian remembers that it has already been more than 5 hours since Yuki came out of the ancestral house, couple that with the time she was sealed, who knows how long has it been since she last ate?

To be honest, Yuki is at a level where she doesn't have to eat but because she has been sealed for so long, she wants to eat the food and feels how it taste.

"I am sorry, I was so engrossed in my work, I forgot about it. I'll immediately send someone to fetch you some food" Ling Jian says. Her facial expression seems to be telling that she genuinely feels bad about it.

Seeing Ling Jian's honest expression, Yuki thinks 'Little Ling has a good heart'
