Yuki went to the middle of the courtyard, did a bit of stretching and then she made a fist with her beautiful jade hands and nonchalantly punched. It was a crude punch without any technique, and the peculiar thing, she didn't take any stance to make that punch, but a bang sound was heard the next instant. This sound was much powerful than the one made by elder Chi.
Even though elder Chi was a bit shocked at the power, she was unimpressed all the same "How is this different to mine?" she also added "on the contrary, it has no technique or skill, it only has power"
"Little Chi is quite keen, it's exactly as you said" Yuki smilingly answered.
Listening to that answer, an angry expression took over elder Chi's face which seemed to be saying 'are you messing with me?'
But before she could say anything, Yuki said with a smile and said "It was a practice punch, I was unlocking my joints since I was sealed for quite a long time they've gone stiff you know"
"huh" elder Chi had a dumbfounded expression hearing that. 'she made that much power just by unlocking her joints, then how much power would her real punch....' Her chain of thought was broken by Yuki
"Little Chi, this is the real move" Yuki brought her feet a bit closer, formed a fist with her right hand and punched.
BOOM
The air exploded and the shockwave reverberated around the courtyard. Yuki's small fist had enough power to obliterate anyone standing in her way. Even a heavenly realm would find themselves injured after taking it head-on.
"ehhh, how did you do that?" elder Chi's eyes were wide open
"softness" Yuki replied with a single word
"huh" elder Chi couldn't understand what she meant by it. Yuki elaborated "I used the concept of softness in my punch"
"concept of softness in punch" elder Chi was still bewildered, it wasn't that she didn't know the concept of softness, but rather it was used for making weapons.
"Your punch only had hardness, it would deal damage but it will be shallow, On the contrary, mine wouldn't just deal damage, it would deal a finishing blow" Yuki explained but elder Chi still didn't understand.
Yuki saw her face which was clearly making an expression that she didn't understand it,
"Little Chi, come here"
"Okay" elder Chi went to her side
"Punch me"
"Huh"
"Don't huh me, I want you to try punching me"
"Are you sure? I don't want to hurt you" elder Chi was a bit cautious as she didn't want to hurt her but she had no idea that even a heavenly realm master would feel it hard to hurt Yuki.
"Don't worry about it, just punch with all your might" Yuki said non-chalantly
Elder Chi made a determined expression after hearing that, she corrected her stance, made a fist with her small hands. A very dense amount of spiritual Qi was oozing out of her body and her punch was carrying it. One could easily tell just by looking that she was at least in the sky realm or close to it.
Elder Chi punched aiming at Yuki's shoulder as she didn't want to punch her face. This punch was much stronger than the one she was practicing earlier. If it connects, it would surely deal a strong blow to Yuki. But contrary to that, Yuki moved her hands and clasped her fist. The spiritual Qi that the punch contained dissipated the moment it met Yuki's hand.
Elder Chi had her eyes wide opened as she couldn't believe that her punch was stopped. 'I used spiritual Qi in that punch, even if couldn't hurt her it should have done some damage, however, slight it maybe'. But before she could speak anything Yuki said
"Qi was flowing in your veins during the punch, but it was erratic. So I disrupted the flow and your punch lost all its power" Yuki explained it with a smile
"You can disrupt the flow of Qi?" elder Chi said with a stupified expression as this is something very hard to do.
"I can, but that isn't important"
Elder Chi wanted to say, 'how is it not important?' but she didn't say that rather she pondered over what Yuki said about her erratic Qi flow and said: "but what does that have to do with softness?"
"Little Chi, tell me what happens to a sword when it becomes too hard?" Yuki asked
Elder Chi, even though was perplexed over the question, but she still decided to answer "it becomes brittle and it breaks"
"Correct, Little Chi is so smart" Yuki smiled and patted her head, elder Chi was moved her head away while glaring at her, but Yuki didn't mind and said
"and when a sword becomes too soft, it becomes too flexible, that's why a balance is needed. And the same can be said about your punch, your Qi flow is erratic because you are trying too hard to exert power, which is bad for your Qi flow"
"..." elder Chi was looking at Yuki like she was looking at an amazing master.
"no need to look at me like that" Yuki smiled
"Thank You so much, ancestor" elder Chi bowed and praised from the bottom of her heart, because even though she didn't teach her any strong move, but this little bit of guidance was way more precious because it was a solution to a structural problem she never knew she had. Elder Chi was a bit suspicious about Yuki being the ancestor of her sect but after this she completely believed her being the ancestor and that too a powerful one.
Yuki accepted that gesture and teasingly said "I am young, no need to make me an old hag. Call me elder sister instead". Elder Chi was dumbfounded but the next moment Yuki started patting her head "little Chi is so cute". Elder Chi still moved her head away, but if one could see they would be able to see a tinge of redness in her cheeks.
"Okay, let's go and meet Little Ling"
"Little Ling" elder Chi was surprised at how the young ancestor was referring to the sect master but she didn't say anything and both went to the sword palace.

Sect master Ling Jian was making her way towards the sword palace herself, she was wearing a red coloured robe which was making a fine contrast with her glowing skin, her white hair was beautifully combed which was flowing. People would be mesmerized by her sight.
And just before she could make her way into the sword palace she saw Yuki and Elder Chi coming out from the corridor and heading straight for the sword palace.
