Chapter 12

In her bedroom in the sword palace, Ling Jian is currently sitting on the edge of her bed. She is wearing a full sleeve blue robe that only reaches her thighs. The laces of the robe are lightly tied, which makes the skin on her chest slightly visible. Her long white hair which is damp is sticking to her face and chest, adding much charm to her beauty. Ling Jian just took a bath.

After eating dinner with Yuki and elder Chi, she retired for the day as she was tired. Ling Jian currently has her eyes closed as she seems to be thinking about something. She folds one leg over the other and her robe which only comes to her thighs slid backward making her smooth thighs even more visible.

'Why does the vice sect master have to ask for something so absurd?' she sighs 'Well, I guess he still doesn't trust her. Anyways, I'll ask her tomorrow what she thinks'

After a moment, Ling Jian lays on the bed while holding a pillow by her side. Suddenly, she recalls what happened at the library earlier which makes her embarrassed.

'ahhh, why does something like that keeps happening? It was the second time already. But why wasn't I able to look away? Is it because she is beautiful? but I've seen plenty of beautiful girls and I am one myself.' She takes a deep breath and exhales 'whatever, I'll be careful from now and try not to look at her, if possible. But she is beautiful, her skin looks so smooth. I wonder how would it feel to touch he.., ahhhh what am I thinking.' Ling Jian instantly hides her face under the pillow.

At the moment Yuki is lying in her bed, she is still wearing that one dress that she had when she woke up.

'When I go to get clothes tomorrow, I'll get something for sleeping as well, sleeping in this dress isn't comfortable. But for now, I should take a bath and go to sleep'

Yuki then took off her clothes and went inside the bath. She took a long time in the bath, and by the time she came out her skin was completely flushed. And after some time she went to sleep.

The next morning.

Yuki is currently standing in the throne room in front of Ling Jian. Last night after eating dinner, Ling Jian had told Yuki to come to the throne room at 8 in the morning. Since she got to hear an earful by Ling Jian yesterday, Yuki decided to be on time.

"You are on time?" Ling Jian mockingly aks

"Why wouldn't I be?" Yuki smilingly retorts. Ling Jian rolls her eyes at her words but decides to let it go.

"Whatever, let's go" Ling Jian starts moving out of the throne room, and Yuki follows her. Ling Jian's eyes' are straight on the road, for some reason she's trying not to look at Yuki. But the person in question keeps looking at her every now and then.

'Little Ling is being quiet today' In all the interactions till now, Ling Jian has been quite talkative whenever she's with Yuki or it would be more accurate to say that Yuki annoys her into being talkative. Whatever be the reason, Yuki feels Ling Jian's is acting differently.

After a few moments, Yuki decides to break the silence and asks

"Where are we going?"

"To meet elder Nia" Ling Jian replies

"And who is she?"

"She's the one who heads the clothing department"

"Okay" before long both of them arrive at a building. The building is smaller than the library or the sword palace but there is a smell of yarn emanating in the air.

"Come, let's go inside" Yuki follows Ling Jian as she walks into the building. After walking a bit, Ling Jian stops before a door and knocks

"Elder Nia, I am here"

"Come in" a sweet voice answers from inside the door. Ling Jian opens the door and enters the room, Yuki follows behind her. When they enter the room, what greets their eyes' is a woman sitting on a table with multiple clothing samples spread on it. The woman has black bob cut hair that reaches her neck and smooth dusky skin, and a nice body. She looks to be in her thirties, all in all, she is a pretty lady.

"Sect Master, I thought you were going to come yesterday" elder Nia smilingly says after seeing Ling Jian

"Some idiot wasted my time yesterday, so I wasn't able to come" Ling Jian replies with a smile. Yuki who is standing next to her looks at Ling Jian 'Is she calling me an idiot? looks like she's still angry about yesterday'

'Who is sect master talking about?' Elder Nia gets perplexed on hearing Ling Jian's words but she decides to let it go

"It's fine" Elder Nia then moves her eyes to the person standing next to the sect master. She gets surprised when she looks at Yuki, because of how beautiful she looks. 'Who is this beautiful girl? Is she a family member of the sect master?'

Noticing elder Nia's eyes on Yuki, Ling Jian introduces Yuki "She is Yuki, she is an ancestor of our sect"

"ehhhh!" elder Nia jumps from her chair while making a surprised expression. Yuki just smiles watching her response. Seeing Yuki's beautiful smile, elder Nia thinks 'so that's what it is, sect master is messing with me'

"Sect Master, you are such a liar" elder Nia composes herself and says

"What liar, I am telling the truth" Ling Jian replies with a straight face. Hearing Ling Jian's words and seeing her face, she stands silly 'sect master face is serious, so this beautiful girl who looks even younger than me is really our ancestor'

"Elder Nia, haven't you heard about her? all the elders and department heads know about her"

"Well, I did hear something about an ancestor, but I thought, that person would be an old granny, not a gorgeous young lady" elder Nia explains.

Ling Jian sighs and says "It is what it is"

Hearing her words elder Nia calms down and apologizes " I am sorry, I over reacted"

"It's fine" Yuki smilingly consoles her

"Elder Nia, can we talk now?"

"Sure" Yuki and Ling Jian sit on the two chairs opposite the table.
