Mutation and Evolution
While Foveros was utterly confused, with some happiness of his friend evolving, and a lot of jealousy for not being able to evolve himself, Merlin had already entered the capsule and was preparing to evolve.

'Yes' Merlin selected it and closed his eyes. However, a few moments later Merin opened his eye, confused as to why he hadn't lost consciousness, only to notice a new message.

During the evolution towards Tier 4, you can chose a new race or sub-race to mutate into. Currently you do not have access to the complete database of species. The system has chosen some suitable option. Please select one from below:

I order to procure the mutation option with the system, certain conditions need to be met, one of which is being 'The Master's Chosen one', and 'The Master' allowing you to access this aspect of the system.

Merlin understood that this was 'The Master' basically giving him free items, similar to how a caring uncle would give his nieces and nephews a few sweets to make them quiet down so he can concentrate on his work.
Suddenly, Merlin shivered at the thought of what kind of being this 'Master' truly was.
However, he decided to think more about that later, and went through the option he was given first.
A few moments later, Merlin exclaimed.
"What nonsense is this? Why give me 200 options when only 2 of them are visible?! Are you playing with me right now?"
However ,no response from the system came, and Merlin could only sigh indignantly.
"Can I know more information about the options I have?"

Half-Blood Wolf (Human Form):
A sub-species to the Blood Wolf, a mighty race under the direct command of the Blood Being; a transcendent existence on par with 'The Overseer'. Has similar powers to the blood wolf race, but with lower effectiveness and efficiency, while maintaining a more or less human exterior.
Half Void Being (Human Form)
An incomprehensibly powerful species existing deep within the planer void. Their properties of space are even stronger than blood-wolves. This species is not rules by a single transcendent being, however, they do not require such a being since each of their offspring naturally evolve to tier 15 within their hundreds of years as a child. Many of their adults have already crossed the Tier 20 threshold for transcendence, while the average of the whole population is tier 18. Their lives are almost infinite, and so they do not bother with the activities within the mortal planes. They have control over a single plane which is at a rank that can no longer be ranked. They are enemies with another equally powerful race and are locked in a never-ending struggle with the race, many of each other's races dying off in the war, only for more to be born and sent into battle once more.
Information about other options is unavailable. These species will become available with further evolutions.

Merlin thought about it for a while, and realised that 'Blood being' might have control over blood wolves, and so did not hesitate to take the other option. The description itself also seemed to subtly point Merlin in this direction, and 'The Master', at least so far, did not seem to want to harm Merlin. Or at least, wanted him to grow much more powerful that he currently was. The future could be dealt with when the time came.
