Chapter 11 The Fight that would mean exile Mikael vs Kyuro

Back at the Kingdom of the frozen pegasus the King of Madness is dying, in his final moments he made a telepatic connection to his brethren, all four of them who resided on the first layer of Roquxestremia.

"My children, as my time is near I have to tell you that "she" is coming." Upon hearing these first final words everyone who heard this message was reacting diffrent.

Smith knew where this was going as he and the Barbarian Queen were sealing the gate.

Upon hearing a male voice in her head Kyuro was stunned she never had heard her father's voice before, was it even her real father? She wanted to know more so she waited for the man to continue speaking. The other probably knew their father as they remained quiet. "Your older half sister Veronica "The Dark Queen will come for you my daughters, If she forces herself to fuse with you she will become immortal and unstoppable" The revelation that the infamous Dark Queen was her half sister shocked Kyuro yet no reaction from any other side, the dying King continues

"For I have been unable to stop her I will entrust my brethren to do so, meet up at the Kingdom of the frozen pegasus. Smith, my only son is already there." Kyuro looked suprised, and Mikael knew something was up, Kyuro was losing focus just a little more and her barrier would come undone. The dying king continued "As a parting gift I will share my last ounces of power with you, may the curse of Madness finally be a blessing for it is how I can speak to each and every one of you."

Each of the dying King's brethren got a magic boost. The moment Kyuro received her part of the magic she was completly refilled and even had some reserves. How?? She asked herself, this was only a quarter of a last ounce of a man who apparently tried to fight "The Dark Queen" that thought was unbelievable. Is she really that strong or did the man just no have the means to kill his daughter. The idea that "she" was that strong shook my very core yet strenghted my resolve to not let Mikael pass, but I was too late my focus had slipped too much and Mikael was free.

Meanwhile at the dying King.

The King of Madness looked at the physician thanking him, telling him he did what he had to do and could now die, content with what he had done throughout his life.

The physician nodded as he stopped the treatment, just as the King of the Barbarians came in they shared a smile as the King of Madness passed away. The Chaos Barbarian King was now the last notable figure left of the late Count Vaegir's crusade.

He ordered a royal funeral for the deceased King and made his way back to the portal, ready to help the new King however he could.

Back at Mikael and Kyuro, Kyuro wanted to thank the man yet every second that she would now distract herself would send Mikael on a Suicidal quest for revenge. She opened her arms as she made way to the young boy. "Do not do this alone, you are not alone."

The raging prince did not see this as someone reaching out to him but as the one who stood in his way showing a giant weak spot. "Get out of my way" he yelled.

Geeting pretty fed up with his tantrum I changed my stance, no longer open as the young boy had lost it and really made it obvious he would attack. "You may exile me for what I am about to do I do not care, for that is necessary when one beats up a noble.

But I will do whatever it takes to stop you to go one this suicidal quest for revenge, alone they will kill you. After those words I rushed at the young noble as I bitchslapped him enhancing it with my void power he went through a mountain.

He came raging back at me screaming "Fine have it your way" having build up great speed he aimed his fist at my stomach, as I blocked with my shin he did hurt me. The next moment he tried to grab me, his hands reached out to mine. I did not resist knowing what would follow I put a barrier above us and Mikael did not notice that, he fired a barrage of grey Lightning down upon the area we were fighting. He smiled for a moment just to see I aimed my indexfinger up, I was enhancing the barrier his lightning was striking down. Knowing that right now I would win a fight based on magic.

The boy smiled as the barrage came down heavier and faster. I had the upperhand in magic but he was smiling confident, as it me took a few second to why realise why it was to late his barrage had damaged my barrier faster than I could enhance it multiple strikes now came down on us before I could teleport us away. Suddenly we were at the plateau for a moment the boy was off guard, as I aimed my fist at him I enhanced it with my void power, coming down on his head I buried him alive. I took a second to breathe as I looked around me, A grey lightningstrike came down at the spot where the young noble was buried. The ground started to crack and out of the cracks the young boy appeared.

Both of us were wearing very damaged clothes as we stared down each other.

The weather changed, a thunderstorm came up yet no rain. This was Mikael doing, as the storm came closer as it surrounded us I saw no way of dodging it. This was like his lightning barrage yet more lethal. I smiled proud at the young boy, seeing how much stronger he had gotten since the day he joined our ranks. I took another moment to hold my breath as I used my void power to sink us in the ground, meters deep below the surface I created a barrier here we could breathe and here he would be outmatched, or was at least is what I thought.

The young boy confused by his rage screamed, "You could have ended me there, just not letting me in this barrier would end me it would take at least an hour for my lightning to reach us here, why?!"

I took another moment to catch my breath.

"Because if I wanted you dead I would let you face off against them. I would probably get first row seats using my void power to see you get killed, but again not my intentions." I said hoping one last time to get through to him.

But his face said it all he could not understand, he didn't understand the situation he would put himself into. I could understand that to a certain point. His father always cared for him, going so far as to face off against Nerom, the most dangerous magic user we had met so far. If I was in his situation I might do the same, but afterwards I would be thankfull if someone stopped me.

Yet the time of being nice was over, Mikael aimed his fist at me once more, enhancing it with lightning he caught me off guard.

As it was the only thing I could think of I did the same enhancing my punch with void power, as we stomach punched each other we send each other flying, first through meters of ground just for Mikael to land in the castle walls which caught him yet there was nothing to catch me. I flew across the continent weakened by the fight I could only changed my trajectory, slightly going more towards the south I finally landed in the ocean getting shocked from that I flew up in pain. searching for the nearest land I found the camp we build before facing the scientist, it was still there.

I guess we forgot to pack up when we headed back, I backed up against the side of a tent as I started to rest, I had no strength left to continue the fight but what I did not know us that Anya had seen the last part of the fight.

She treated the young boy's wounds and put him in his bed then she sent a crow in my general direction thanking me for what I had done.

The next day I woke up completly terrified by the though that Mikael had taken that hit and was now on his way towards Lucian. I made breakfast and enjoyed it, the smell of Jérome's cooking was still faintly around which made it more enjoyable. After my breakfast I noticed a crow glaring at me, it held Anya's letter. While reading the letter it calmed me, I pictured Mikael in the same kind of bed I was in just while being smothered by Anya. Lucky boy I thought to myself as made my way towards the eternal battlefield and beyond that, the Kingdom of the Frozen Pegasus.

Meanwhile at Castle Dreadskull Mikaela was still in bed being treated by Anya and Katherina. Jérome was at the main entrance with a message from the twins. They wanted to speak to him and Jérome at the shrine. The guards informed the maids about Jérome's presence, Katherina went to welcome him as she escorted him to the young noble's bedroom. Deep down inside Jérome wanted to make a move on the beautifull maid since they would be alone untill they would reach Mikael bedroom yet knew this was not the time nor the place, it barely restrained him.

upon arriving at the bedroom Jérome restored his composure as he shared te message with everybody, Anya did not like the idea of Mikael already leaving his bed yet left the choice to him. "Let me rest a little more we will meet them at dusk" he said.

Jérome accepted as he went to train at the plateau as he tried to summon his trusty sphinx, as he thought of Katherina and how he probably wasted his only chance to be alone with her.

That though disrupted the magic and an angel made out of his light came out, but this one had a consciousness. "Are you the war god of the eternal battlefield?" she asked. Jérome remembered being called that and nodded at the angel who resembled Katherina. "Why do you look like her?" Jérome asked. "I am an angel I can take whatever human form I need when being summoned" She said. Jérome stared at her not knowing what to say. My name is Alexandrite, "Goddess of the Wind," "Maker of Storms," and "Bringer of Fertility." she said, looking back at Jérome with a smile. "And I take it you are Jérome lé Darc. The new war god of Roquxestremia." she said. "Yes I am" He answered confidently. "I then hereby bless you, when you die you will ascend to the realm of gods. Untill then I would like to help you in your endeavors, feel free to summon me whenever you need me.

With that their conversation ended and Jérome went on with his training. At dusk the two men met at the entrance of the shrine, together they made their way inside.

Meanwhile at the eternal battlefield I stood there staring down multiple armies. "The war demon has returned, let me through unscathed or I will bring judgement down onto all of you" I said as the bottom half of my hair turned purple again. as Jérome was not at my side this time and there was no army to back me up the enemy did not budge, yet I was atleast ten times stronger then last time and was ready to let them know that. I sensed out the new commanders, going out on strength I realized that the strongest ones here were not that much stronger then the ones I faced last time. I smiled confidently as Madness filled my eyes...
