Chapter 5

Hiashi Hyuga and his family did have an actual gift for the twins. He just had to get that out the way. "Naturally, we also have other gifts. For Karma, we have the best milk that money can buy, and for Ailane, we got this," he said while pulling a small stuffed animal white cat from his sleeves.

While Karma and Ailane were extremely happy with their gifts, everyone else facepalmed for not going first. Karma and Ailane were very obvious in the likes, so most of the guest got them the same presents, though there were some variations.

After the Hyuga, Mikoto Uchiha brought forth similar gifts, milk for Karma and teddy bear for Ailane. The Inuzukas brought the same, only a stuffed dog instead. Every clan other than the Nara Clan gave Karma the same milk.

For Ailane, the Aburame Clan gave her a stuffed lion, the Yamanaka Clan gave her a stuffed black cat with white stripes, curtesy of Ino Yamanaka, the Akimichi Clan gave her a stuffed bear only it was a lot fatter than the last one.

The Nara Clan was the last to present their gifts, other than Sarutobi Hiruzen, the Third Hokage, but he gave his gifts to Yoruichi since they were the exact same ones that the Hyuga gave, other than not giving him a secret technique. He didn't want to embarrass himself as Hokage.

The Nara Clan first gave Karma his gift, a very large fluffy cat bed. Shikamaru knew from spending afternoons sleeping outside with his friend, that Karma liked to take his tiger form to sleep sometimes. Next, they gave Ailane a large pillow. Ailane enjoyed sleeping with her brother, so making the comfy new bed he just got more comfy was the perfect excuse. She realized that quickly after seeing the pillow.

Karma waited until all the guests left before approaching Ailane with a box. "Ailane! I got you a gift too!"

"Eh?! Ka-chan, you didn't get me a gift for my birthday!!" Ibaraki yelled as she burst out from who-knows-where.

"I gave you a pink sword that grows with you, and I slept with you for a week!" He replied.

"Yeah, but nobody wants to teach me the sword! Even Himawari said I should wait another year while practicing shunpo, chakra control and taijutsu! And nobody will teach me their ninjutsu!" Ibaraki complained.

"You know the Clan rules, everyone has to forge their own path. We can't just give you our techniques, Ibaraki." Yoruichi said before dragging Ibaraki off. One of the core rules of the Clan was also the reason that the shinobi were all of immense strength, while those who didn't become ninjas contributed largely to the Clan economics. The rule stated that all shinbo had to forge their own path, creating their own techniques, or adjusting any learned techniques to be their own, making every individual a master of chakra control.

"Karma, thank mew. I'm sorry, I didn't get mew a present." Ailane said, excitedly at first, then dejectedly. She still hadn't completely gotten rid of the verbal tic they were all cursed with at birth. Though even adults sometimes slipped up at times.

"It's fine, Ailane. You can share that pillow with me as my present!" He reasurred her.

Ailane smiled while opening her box. When she opened the boxed she could only stop and stare. There lay a beautiful black and red guitar. Well a part of the reason was she didn't know what it was, but after listening to Karma explain what it was and how it was used, she was extremely happy. With her recently found love for music, and desire to be a ninja in the future, it was the perfect gift.

That night, rather than sleep Ailane spent her time playing her new guitar, learning to create music. Of course, it was only because she enjoyed music and wanted to produce her own. She couldn't weaponize the guitar to begin with unless she learned formed her own wind release techniques or managed to use sound release.

Meanwhile, Karma was also up all night. Yoruichi didn't think he could learn the Sixty-Four Palms, so she just gave him the technique along with the diagram containing all the chakra points. Anyway, it could be memorable for him, and in case he ever came across a Hyuga in battle, he would know their techniques. As a God, even a lazy one that didn't care too much about it, he wasn't going to let some random mortals look down on him, so naturally he would learn the technique. Well, he could already easily use it, but not in his current body.

'Well, I don't have all my capabilities like this, so I have to find another way to do this, without the Karma. Maybe I can do it with senjutsu. Anyway, if Yoruichi tries to deny me learning it, I'll just point out that I know people of any age or chakra level can learn our clans particular senjutsu. Unlike certain others...' he thought to himself as he stared at the diagram. 'Guess I'll at least memorize the position of every chakra point tonight. Children are so weak...'

So, Karma proceeded to spend half the night committing the chakra points to memory, pondering wether he should just remove the limits of his body, though he ultimately decided he definitely wouldn't since he didn't want to ruin his challenge. The latter half of the night was spent trying to form claws with his chakra, since he knew he would need good chakra control to properly perform any of the Gentle Fist Arts. Moreover, he was positive he would be using his claws to fight frequently in the future, incorporating them in any other techniques he created.

"Karma, I can help you sense chakra points more accurately if you want to learn the technique." Matatabi spoke, for the first time since she was transferred into Karma.

"I think I can figure it out on my own. So, you do speak. Why have you ignored me all these years?" Karma responded aloud. He tried multiple times while he was alone to talk to her, but she never responded.

"Well, you're four years old now."

"What's that supposed to mean?"

"You'll see..."

Authors Note: Realized I didn't like anything other than Nyahaha from cat girls and maybe a nya every now and then. Also, to emphasize on the Naruto and Sasuke being rivals thing, the mc is a god, sure but if he's just solo traveling through everything, smashing the heroines and dipping it'll get dull. So, since he's in this mortal form, Sasuke and Naruto will also get buffs to rival him at times, and when he plans to leave the world it'll be like: oh yeah btw Naruto, Sasuke i found out how to travel to other worlds where we can grow stronger or just adventure, and I'll know if something happens in the Leaf, so do ya'll wanna come get stronger with me?
