Chapter 30

'You're frustrated?' Matatabi asked.

'Of course, I am. I may have been told I won, but we know I would've lost if the match went on any longer.' Karma responded. 'I would have won handily if I relied on you, but I'm not going to rely on someone else to deal with my fights.'

'Hahaha, so now you'll actually stop being lazy?' Matatabi asked.

'Yeah, if I don't, those idiots will catch up eventually.' Karma answered.

'Yeah, your rivals. They have very fast growth.' Matatabi noted.

'They're not my rivals.' Karma said. 'They're just a pair of slightly stronger weaklings.' To this Matatabi laughed.

It was at that point Kushina and Rin arrived. "How did you plan to win the Chunin Exams after this without a personal medic?" Kushina joked.

"I would still easily beat those two." Karma frowned.

"Sure, sure. Because they won't be able to rival you anyway, right?" Kushina laughed.

"Right. They're too weak." Karma nodded.

"Hahaha, Karma, you need to stop denying they're your rivals. Even if you have advantages, those two won't give up." Rin laughed as she began healing Karma. "You saw them today, right? As Ibaraki said, your talent can't beat effort. Naruto started completely incapable and through effort, he's even made Ibaraki acknowledge his strength. Sasuke is less talented than you, but he works hard too. If you keep slacking, they won't consider you a goal or a rival for long."

"What do you know?" Karma retorted.

"I know that you're a tsundere to them." Rin joked.

"Yeah, you are! And they know it, too. Naruto was complaining the whole month because you called him a rival and he knows you didn't mean it! That's why he trained so hard with his new teacher!" Kushina said.

"I don't acknowledge those two as my rivals. And I won't ever." Karma said.

"Why?" Himari asked while dealing with Sound shinobi. "Having rivals is good for your growth."

"I'm going to start training after this, so they'll never catch up." Karma answered.

"Karma... you just admitted they're your rivals..." Rin said.

"No, I said they'll never be my rivals." Karma adamantly refused. 'It's all the damn Will of the World's fault anyway. If I wanted to fully rewrite the world, I could've. I just have the slightest bit of guilt for twisting it as I pleased, so I left it alone. That might have to change in the future though...' He thought.

"Right, because viewing them as competition that you want to keep a lead on definitely isn't rivals." Rin rolled her eyes.

In Karma's personal universe, inside his personal home, a woman with cat ears and a tail sat in front of a TV. "You may be a God, all mighty and eternal, but you're still immature. Nyahaha, I guess that's what happens when you sleep for most of eternity and watch all the worlds with disinterest. You never get to grow up." She laughed. "Well, I did give birth to your mortal body, so I'm still your mother. When I finally get a chance to meet you, I'll treat you like so. After all, you act the age of your mortal body."

"Hunt me?" Orochimaru sneered. "When I left, you let Jiraya deal with me because I wasn't worth effort, right? Do you really think you'll easily win now?"

"Of course, whatever you do, it's useless. If anything, I look forward to what tricks you'll use." Yoruichi laughed.

"Fine, then. Mind giving me some prep time?" Orochimaru asked.

"Sure. So, what do you say, old man?" Yoruichi started talking to Hiruzen Sarutobi, the Third Hokage.

"Why would your nephew want to make a contract with the monkeys?" Hiruzen asked.

"Well, as you can tell by looking at him, he apparently has a keen interest in weapons. The monkeys can turn into staffs, can't they? Plus, other his two rivals, I don't know how well he gets along with Matatabi. He probably won't be summoning any of the felines because he doesn't like the idea of them being hurt in battle." Yoruichi explained while Orochimaru was prepping his technique, Impure World Reincarnation.

"Hahahahaha! You fool! Now, I will finally be able to get rid of you, Yoruichi!! Your overconfidence shall spell your doom!" Orochimaru cackled as the first and second Hokage's stepped out of two coffins. "That's odd. There should be one more... No matter, these two are enough."

"This is your trump card?" Yoruichi questioned. "I thought you would have something more interesting. Like that Curse Seal you put on Anko and Sasuke..."

"I don't need anything more to kill you two." Orochimaru sneered.

"I wonder about that. I mean, even that little trick can be utilized differently. See, Sasuke's is already able to utilize a little of its power with just a month. And I know I'll have to help Anko, too, since my little nephew seems to want a large harem. Aren't I, his sisters and that Kushina girl enough?" Yoruichi sighed.

"You can at least exclude yourself!" Orochimaru laughed, not minding the rest of the family. Incest wasn't really a serious issue as many clans committed incest to keep their abilities or techniques from spreading. He made some experiments perform incest, so who was he to badmouth it? "This is your end, after all! First, Second, kill her and Sarutobi-sensei!"

"Really? You expect them to able to do that and keep you safe? Don't you think you're underestimating me? Even Minato can't keep up with my full speed, you know."

"Eh?"

Authors Note: I'm not really sure how well it'll be received, but as a side project im working on another fanfic where I'll test having an 'evil' mc. I don't have much written yet, but I want to try writing a bad guy as an mc. Maybe in the mext week I'll upload the first 10 chapters or something. When that time comes, I hope you guys will give it a read and lmk what you think of it.
