Train Journey
After much pondering about the motive behind this move of Grandpa Lin, the trio couldn't come up with a good reason.
So Ye Yan advised, "I think the only choice we have now is, let's go with the flow and counter-attack on the spot."
Lin Qianyi replied in an annoyed tone, "geez this unnecessary trouble".
Forget it, I also think it's the only way now, if there's anything tricky I'll contact you both."
Ye Yan and Su Chuan replied in unison, "Okay."
"It's time for my beauty sleep so I'll retire first.
Goodnight guys"
said Lin Qianyi waving her hand while walking in her room's direction.
The next day, the trio enjoyed breakfast and went to the folk market near the resort. In the evening, they played some games and enjoyed a peaceful time in the flower house looking at the variety of luxurious and wildflowers.
At Train Station, Lin Qianyi get off her bike and ran with a backpack on her back from the parking lot to the train as she might miss the train again.
Flashback to one hour before ....
After packing some necessities in her backpack, Lin Qianyi was ready to go for the Train station, as city A was just 60km far from the capital, the university professor decided to go from the train, as he want the students to get to know each other and build some team spirit.
As she was going to call for a cab, she received a message from Qiao Fei,
"You need to come over right now, the same place."
She glanced at the message and went in the direction of the garage, her plan of calling for a cab now seems impossible.
Walking towards her sports car, she spotted Ducati Superleggera at the corner and decided to ride it for today's emergency.
she wore the silver color helmet, and hop on the bike, with a swish she was on the street matching the speed with the wind, turning through every corner and avoiding the vehicles with this perfection shows how great of a racer she was.
She reached the meeting place within 10 minutes, there she found Qiao Fei standing like a cold-ice block
"Aiya, this woman sure is a walking air conditioner. How cold-faced she is? like some tsundere CEO types, sometimes I wonder who will be the lucky or should I say unlucky man to marry her."
Qiao Fei walked closer to Lin Qianyi and handed her some documents "Here, you will need these."
Lin Qianyi checked the documents, there was information regarding the mission she was going on, and then she found an invitation pass.
Waving the invitation pass in her hand she raised a brow at Qiao Fei, getting the meaning as she wants to question what the invitation pass is for, Qiao Fei replied "This invitation pass is for the exhibition going to be held in the art gallery at city A on Monday and there you will find your target."
After getting her answers she started her bike's engine to leave but before that, she glanced at Qiao Fei and smiled with a hint of warning, "If I'm going to be late then you should think of the consequences. and if you think I don't know about your little tricks to make me late for my departure, then you're wrong. Just wait for me to get back at you for this."
As Qiao Fei is our cold-beauty who remains unfazed in any situation, she just slowly replied without giving any extra expression on her face "Very good, I'll be waiting."
Lin Qianyi drove straight to the highway to the next city as she may not be able to make it in time if she goes to the train station right now.
So, she is going to catch the train at the next station, suddenly her phone rang and she knew without looking at it who is calling.
She pressed the bluetooth and answer the phone, at the other end of phone Xinyue's voice resounded "Qianyi where are you, the train is going to left at any moment. We were waiting for you. Oh no, no nononono ... "
Lin Qianyi hurriedly asked "what happened"
Xinyue said anxiously "Oh no, Qianyi the doors are closed now, where are you, wait we'll do something."
Lin Qianyi lied to her friend to make her not worry, "Don't worry, I was late but I manage to get on the train, I'll find you at the next station."
Xinyue sighed in relief," Oh that's good."
