Ch.5 Dreaded Surprise
As Zayn stared at CC he asked "CC one more thing, if i'm not going to see you for a couple years can I ask for the "Gifts" you would of given me during that time."
CC wiping away his "Tears" "Sure kid why not, but limit it, nothing to OP, got me"
"Sure no problem, One, I want to be able to learn at a 10x faster rate then a so called genuis. I'm not sure how the hell the warden in the game killed the Archdemon, but I doubt that it's that easy to take down. (this is so he can grasp and use skill's and or abilities he picks up to a greater degree)

"Way ahead of you there kid, you've been able to use magic since you were "born", but you pull from a stable source so you can use it anywhere.
So don't worry about any demons, and yes you can still access the fade. I would highly recomend you do so, the sooner the better."

Zayn unable to hold his enthusiasm is jumping in the air with a victory fist "Yes, okay as for that last one, let me know before you leave ok."

After Zayn takes a long look at his status and abilities he closes his system and falls asleep, wondering what the hell the hidden abilities CC is keeping from him
-11 Months Later-
Zayn is sitting in a hidden room where he is practicing his magic. After CC left 11 months ago Zayn decided to try using magic, but without a proper teacher to guide him he had no idea where to start.
Zayn had the idea of showing his parents, he felt that their love for him would win out against the Chantry, and much to his relief he was right, but of course there was consequences, he was told to never use it when anyone else was around including Fergus.
This somewhat bummed him out but was acceptable. After that Zayn asked for a teacher to help him learn magic so that he didn't accidently let it loose. His parent stricken with the horror that would cause immeditaly agreed. It wasn't as if they didn't have Apostate amongst their forces.
Due to prior events the apostate was sent on a mission long ago, and would soon be returning. Zayn was in a constant state of frustration as he could not use any magic, sence he didn't know how. Zayn felt as he couldn't wait any longer when he heard from his parents that the apostate would be returning within the next week.
Even the battled hardened Cousland couple were almost driven to the brink of dispair due to Zayns fidgetiness, glad that their man was almost here, the two sought out ways to distract Zayn for the next two weeks with great success.
Finally about to meet his mentor in magic, Zayn could not help but pull a prank on the one arriving as if to say "what took you so long", so Zayn scaled the doorway and waited until the doors creeped open, and in entered a being Zayn was hoping not to meet till much, much later. But as CC would say, "Why not make things interesting".
To preoccupied with his thoughts Zayn fell off the doorway and on top of the being that was going to be his teacher, and that is how the short apprenticeship of the future Hero of Ferelden and a creature older than most, began.
