Chapter 28

Your POV

I wake up with my head pounding, feeling as if someone hit it with a brick. I try to open my eyes but I'm met with darkness. I've been blindfolded...why can't I remember what happened?!? I attempt to free my arms but the rough feeling of rope stops my hands from being freed. My wrists rub uncomfortably against the rope as I try to find a loophole. Come on….is there really nothing?

"Stop trying, you won't be getting out of that," a voice rasps out and I sense a familiarity to it.

"San?" I whisper out a dark chuckle to escape the person. I gasp quietly, remembering everything from the call to the club and him drugging me. I've been kidnapped...but what for? Unless...

"Seems like you're not completely an idiot," he murmurs.

"What-"

I'm cut off as a rough bump is hit and I go flying into a nearby cargo box, groaning. The pounding in my head increases as the sound of laughter echoes throughout the area.

"Look at you, so poor and defenseless," he states as the heel of a shoe comes in contact with my stomach making me gasp out in pain, "can't wait to play with you doll."

"Don't touch me," I rasp out as a finger trails down my cheek, a shudder running down my spine at the unappreciated touch.

"What are you going to do, hmm? You can't do anything tied up and little pathetic b*tch," he whispers in my ear with a teasing tone.

"Just you wait," I mutter out as he gasps dramatically.

"I'm so scared!" He states before I cough out harshly as a heel makes contact with my stomach again, "not."

"San leave her alone," another voice rasps out in annoyance.

"But-"

"Leave her, boss wants you up front," the other voice states, making San groan. Who is that? I've heard their voice before too but I can't figure it out…

"What's happening-"

"Don't say anything, it will get you nowhere," the voice states, sighing heavily, "just stay quiet Princess."

P-Princess? So they've finally found me...even after all my years of running away and hiding.

Author's POV

"Mr. Song is awake now," a nurse tells the group as they all rush to his room, needing answers.

Jimin is the first to burst through the door, "Mingi?"

"Yes, I'm here," he says softly as the rest file into the room behind me.

"Do you remember anything that happened an hour or so ago?" Jimin questions as Mingi nods.

"Y-Yes," he murmurs before continuing, "I heard about Y/n's boss and his plan to take her when first working there. They tried to convince me to join in the plan the first day working there but when I refused, they fired me. I had called her to warn her today, but I had been attacked before I could tell her why she was in danger."

"Do you know the name of Y/n's boss?" Namjoon asks as Mingi scrunches up his face in thought.

"I-I think it's Jung Wooyoung," Mingi states, "or as she knows him, Mr. Jung. He's behind all this.

Immediately Jimin pulls out his phone and dials the personal investigator he is close friends with, "I need a background check on Jung Wooyoung, and…"

"Choi San and Kim Hongjoong, those were my co-workers," Mingi says as his eyes start closing, the feeling of sleep overtaking him.

Jimin says the other names before hanging up, "thank you Mingi."

"I-I'm glad I could help," Mingi mumbles as his breathing slows, falling asleep.

"Sh*t! We missed the train! Now we have to wait for the next one!" Wooyoung curses staring at the clock, having missed the train by five minutes.

"This wouldn't have happened if you made it back on time," San exclaims towards Hongjoong.

"What are you blaming me for?!? Would you rather have me alive or dead?" Hongjoong shouts in pure annoyance.

"Well you didn't even finish your job in the first place," San argues back.

Hongjoong groans, "he was still knocked unconscious for at least a few hours."

"But since we missed our train now, we could get caught because of your dumba**, Wooyoung rasps out with a death glare towards Hongjoong.

"We won't get caught since they can't trace us. I threw her phone over the bridge we passed a while ago," Hongjoong replies with a shrug.

"Then what do we do with the girl?" San questions with a heavy sigh.

"Just knock her out with sleeping gas, should keep her asleep for a while," Wooyoung states, heading off towards the ticket booth to purchase tickets for the next train.

"You know you could really have screwed us over," San mutters.

"You know you could really shut up once in a while," Hongjoong retorts before heading off in a random direction, leaving San to deal with the girl.

"The only Jung Wooyoung we can find is Prince Jung who has been missing or hidden away in his palace for a few years now," an investigator explains to Jimin before continuing, "it's said that they were the kingdom that attacked another enemy kingdom to them a few years back."

"Do you know the family of the other kingdom's names?" Jimin questions. His curiosity gets the best of him, wanting to see how much harm Prince Jung did and see what he's up against.

"It says here that after the attack they all were reportedly dead. The family name was L/n. Also it says there had been reportedly one family member who escaped as they couldn't find their body on the scene of the crime," the investigator states, "her name is L/n Y/n."

I freeze in shock hearing the name e

scape the man's mouth, "s-so she's a princess?" "Yes, the missing Princess."
