Foreshadowing

Seo-yeon wrapped up her meeting with her clients at noon, and decided to call it a day. Kang Dae had his last exams today, and she didn't have anything scheduled for the day. Using the short day as an opportunity to visit her mother at the store, she locked up the studio.

"So this is your studio." Yoongi stood to her left. She didn't expect to see him, and paused mid-step. Glancing at him, she took note that he was holding a drink he must have purchased at the coffee shop next door. He approached her, leaving a few feet of space between them as to not invade each other's personal space. He lowered his mask, and slightly smiled. "How are you?"

"I'm doing fine. What brings you here?" She was relieved that he was a lot friendlier than he was when they first met. He also initiated the conversations, which she took as an opening to be friends, or at least acquaintances.

"I needed a break from working all morning. I heard this place has great coffee, so I figured it was worth the drive."

"Yeah, they do. I thought you guys were on vacation."

"We are." Yoongi wasn't going to be the first to inform her of their identities, so he quickly gave an explanation, "I'm a workaholic. I still have some things I like to work on."

"I can understand that. Um, well, I have to go."

"Hey," As she was set to walk away, Yoongi gently tapped her shoulder, "Thanks for being a friend to Jin hyung." That was all he said while making a slight bow then left in the direction of his car. Seo-yeon stood staring at his car drive away. She knew there was more to their story than she knew, and his statement held a sad foreshadowing.

**email notification**

She glanced down at her phone at the buzz of her phone. She opened the email, and read:

Seo-yeon,

Would you be up for another photo session? I heard of a great botanical garden a few miles away that even trims the bushes into animals. Sorry for using your work email for personal use, but this was the only way to contact you.

Waiting for your reply,

Jin :-)

She stared at the email, re-reading it over again. The evening spent at the lighthouse had been very memorable. She smiled thinking about how they joked while capturing beautiful pictures of the landscape, and each other. Her brain told her she should stop now. 'He's only here for vacation. When would we even see each other?' But her heart begged her to at least spend one more day with him.

Her heart winning the battle, she replied:

No worries. I'd love to take pictures of the garden. It sounds amazing. Let's meet at my family store. I'll wait out front.
