Epilogue

4 years later

Manager Sejin escorted Seo-yeon to the airport. They were twenty minutes earlier than expected, having left BigHit in a rush. She had been waiting in anticipation for the past year and six months for Jin's return. The first year after publicly announcing their relationship, they had their ups and downs. There were those that attempted to have his removal enforced, but each member stood their ground and continually refused to give in.

It was not until the fifth month of going public that the anti-Jin fans began to fade. The large amount of ARMY that supported the couple outweighed the amount that opposed. Seo-yeon was able to finish the tour with the group and requested to be assigned to another group.

"Why?" Jin demanded. They were seated in the apartment that they now shared. They had not set any date for a wedding, but she moved into his home as soon as the press began to move on. For the most part, the media began to focus on the next comeback.

"The tour ended, and you guys are focusing on your next album. I want to expand my experience," she cuddled into the crook of his arm, and pouted. "I want to be recognized for my work."

"You are," he stubbornly argued, "Everyone praises your pictures, and how you've taken charge. No one doubts your talent."

She sighed knowing that it was going to be difficult for him to see her view point, "Fine. You're right. I was talking with Manager Sejin, and he suggested that I focus on TXT. They're still getting their footing, and I really would like to help them."

"Since when did you and Sejin get so close? Do I need to have a talk with him?" He dramatically pulled away from her and squinted his eyes in speculation. She squinted her eyes back him to match his stare. They burst into laughter at the ridiculous turn the conversation took.

"What's with the sudden need to pull away from working with us?" He asked seriously.

"I know we've been avoiding the topic, but..."

"My enlistment?" The word hung in the air. They had put off the his enlistment for the past year, and knew it was creeping up. He set to leave at the end of the year, and would be accompanied with Yoongi. The others would serve the year they returned, giving Jungkook time to be at a decent age. The media continued to pester them about new laws that would prevent them from having to serve, but Jin wished to do his duty as a citizen of South Korea. Seo shared and valued this decision.

"I won't leave BigHit. If anything, they have provided so may opportunities for me to grow as a photographer. I'm even able to lead newer photographers into the field," she fondly touched his cheek. "I'm more than blessed. But realistically, I have to plan for your departure."

He sadly smiled, took her hand from his cheek, and kissed the back of it. He held her hand, and fingered the engagement ring. He knew she was in every right to prepare.

"Fine. But when I return, let's make this official." She grinned at his ultimatum. With the agreement that they would wed upon his return, she was assigned to with other bands, and upcoming idols. She would not tour with groups, but would focus on promoting them, and organizing merchandise to be distributed.

Seo-yeon smiled to herself remembering the switch from being able to work so close to the members of BTS to seeing them not as often, but never being too far from her. When the time came for Yoongi and Jin to leave, it was a hard transition. The other five continued to work as a group, and the success never faded. Seo-yeon kept herself busy with various assignments. The maknae line visited her often. They didn't have to state their reasons. She knew that they not only hoped to prevent her from being lonely, but that they secretly were keeping an eye on their hyungs's "wife."

The time he was away felt like decades. She managed to stay busy, and the boys did help. However, she did feel the loneliness creep in when she was alone in their apartment. Before she knew it, she was given word that they were to be discharged. Eun-ha joined BigHit at the end of the first year they served, and assisted Manager Sejin as a new manager assistant. She showed promise, and also made sure to keep Seo-yeon company. She had been the person to contact Seo about the return of both men.

The car pulled to a stop near the airport arrival area. Eun-ha and Manager Sejin used a source to reveal their arrival date for another airport. Knowing how the media and fans had eagerly awaited the return of BTS' two members, they made sure to sent out false information.

She stood by the car with Manager Sejin looking for a glimpse of Jin. Her heart rate rapidly beat and her palms slightly sweated. She couldn't wait for him to be back and begin the next chapter in their lives.

Security begin to walk out of the building, encircling around two tall figures. It was as if her body had a magnetic pull the instant she locked eyes with him. He grinned and waved at her enthusiastically. She ran towards him, completely overlooking a chagrined Yoongi. He simply laughed at what he expected from the soon to be newly weds.

She lost her footing and tripped over her own foot. Had the impact of Jin's broad chest not stopped her, she would have ended up sprawled on the floor. He wrapped his arms around her, and laughingly kissed the top of her head.

"Takes me back to when we met," he whispered into her ear.

She giggled at the reminder of the first day they met at the beach. His hero moment that prevented her from falling onto the rocks, or potentially the ocean. The gentlemanly way he assisted her back to the sandy flat ground. Everything leading to this moment.

"Still falling for me after all these years?" He joked.

She squeezed him tighter, not caring who was watching. She could not believe how much she missed him. She did not want to part for another second.

"You have that affect on me," she quipped.

"You ready to home?" He grinned in answer to her response.

"I've never been more ready than I am now."
