Star Skyline stood outside of the Class 1-A dorms, hand hesitating above the doorknob. It was still early, but she was unsure of why there were 18 minds right behind the closed door. 18… quiet, sleeping minds? She bit the bullet, put in the passcode, and quietly let the door open.

Laying in what can only be accurately described as a pile, was a mess of limbs belonging to the rest of Class 1-A. Star looked around at the differently colored and shaped blankets and pillows, the popcorn bowls spilled on the ground, and everyone cocooned in their own little comfy areas. Even Iida was there, having fallen asleep while sitting up against a wall, glasses still on his face. Her heart warmed, and she was thankful she had decided to stay. Speaking of staying… She looked around for Bakugo, but wasn't surprised when he was nowhere to be found. Oh well, maybe she could ask him when he woke up.

She carefully crept to the stairs, not wanting to wake anyone with the ding of the elevator, and had almost made it to her room when she bumped into the very person she had just been thinking about.

Bakugo steadied her and pulled out an earphone, dressed in running clothes. Her face flushed as she noticed how the sleeveless shirt showed off his arms, and how he hadn't bothered brushing his bedhead hair. It was attractive and endearing at the same time, causing conflicting reactions in her. He didn't notice her flush this time, and Star thanked the stars above. Heh. She was so distracted by her own brilliance, that she missed Bakugo looking her over and conducting his own checklist for remaining injuries.

"Didn't feel like joining the bonding session in the common room?" Star asked teasingly, still warm and fuzzy inside at the memory of her sleeping class.

"I- Tch. Of course not, did they not heal your head or something, Red?" He quickly replied, looking away in… embarrassment? She reached to touch him and he narrowed his eyes, avoiding her hand. She huffed in annoyance. This was why she didn't want him in particular to know her quirk. It was already hard enough to read him, it was going to be even worse if he was prepared for it.

"Not falling for that one, Nosey. I'll find out more about your quirk and bring you down in a fight, mark my words." He growled.

"Actually… about that." Star tugged on a strand of her hair, unfamiliar with not knowing how to bring something up. "Iwashopingtotrainwithyou."

Bakugo blinked. Then blinked again. Then smirked. "Use your damn words, Princess."

He wasn't even trying to hide that he had understood her the first time! He was mocking her! Star huffed and started to walk into her doorless room. Screw him, she could ask Midoriya. Sure, he practices at night and not in the morning, but she could manage! Who needs Bakugo anyway, certainly not her-

Her thoughts were stopped short and replaced with Bakugo's urgent -and worried?- ones as he grabbed her. He had followed her into the room and spun her around, a serious expression on his face.

"Not only could you not take on Bird Face the first day, even with help, but you weren't even close to keeping up with us while we were running through the USJ. You're not gonna be a good teammate to anyone if you can't manage to work on your damn cardio instead of just your fighting skills. So fine, you can train with me, you weakling. Go get changed." He spit out, looking anywhere but her. His emotions spiked as he did, and she could understand this one at least.

She grinned happily, "Aww, were you worried about me, Katsuki?" He immediately took his hand off her arm and glared at her, pointing menacingly to her closet before storming out. She went to her dresser instead and grabbed her clothes, before looking around and frowning.

"Er, Bakugo?"

"What now, Freckles?" She heard him growl out from the hallway. She stepped out with her clothes in her uninjured arm, and lifted her foot to wave around in front of the doorway.

"I can't change in there, someone broke down my beautiful door." She put her foot back down before she lost her balance, unused to not having her other arm to help stabilize herself.

"Tch, install the panels correctly next time then." He half heartedly spat back. Picking up on his guilt even without touching him, she took a step closer.

"They were starting to wake up down there, I just don't want anyone to see me I guess… Especially after what Minet-"

Bakugo opened his door and shoved her in, closing it behind her. She could hear him standing outside the door as he barked out "5 minutes then I'm dragging you out."

She grinned and immediately started looking for his kitten. It didn't take long, because on the other half of his large bed was a fancy cat bed filled with toys. Lord Explosion was stretching in the middle of it, not having seen her yet. So cute!!

She put her hand in front of the kitten's vision and it turned around, climbing onto her with a tired 'mew'. Star grinned, this was literally heaven. She could die happy right now and not demand a single refund.

An annoyed voice cut through the door, "You better not just be spoiling that damn cat, Red. You only have three minutes left, and I'm not fucking bluffing."

Star jumped, depositing the kitten back into it's overpriced bed with a smile. The only one spoiling this little thing was him, judging by all the expensive toys. She pulled her shoes and shorts on alright, but hesitated when she got to her shirt.

She needed to see Recovery Girl twice before she'd be able to take off the dressings and sling to move it around properly, and hadn't thought to ask what to do about changing. She definitely didn't want to wear her bloody shirt anymore, especially while working out… Yet she wasn't able to get it over her own head, and even if she asked someone for help, it'd still hurt a lot. She felt… defeated. It was a small reminder of how close she had come to dying. If she hadn't needed to drink, she would've been able to hear the villain's thoughts, even when she was focusing on All Might's mind. She might've been able to roll out of the way, or dodge even, but her reaction time was slowed and she made too many mistakes that day that could've gotten her killed... And as reality finally crashed down on her, she felt her eyes sting and her breathing hitch.

"Time's up, you better not be touching a damn thing Red I swear-"

When Bakugo burst through the door, Star didn't even look up, instead blinking away the tears that kept trying to escape as she stared at her damn arm that showed just how pathetic she was, and how serious of a problem she had.

Bakugo crouched beside her, grabbing the clean shirt on the floor, and his red velvet eyes looked at her in confusion. "Why aren't you changing, Freckles?"

Star swallowed, "I-I c-can't." She glared at her arm and tried to control her breathing, not loving that she was crumbling in front of someone as strong as Bakugo. He didn't respond, and instead sat down across from her, his back leaning on his bed. He tilted his head back, and raised his arms behind his head, before leaning back forward and depositing the warm furry kitten he had grabbed into her lap. She sniffled, smiling weakly at the kitten who had returned to it's sleep after being moved.

"Our training for today will be to visit Recovery Girl, then. I can't kick your ass into shape if you're a damn cripple." He said in a tone she couldn't quite decipher, even with her quirk. She nodded, not taking her eyes off the kitten that was sleeping peacefully. Drawing strength from the sight, she weakly smiled up at Bakugo, who already had his eyes on her intently when she looked up. He shook his head slightly as if dazed, and gently picked up the kitten from her lap, putting it back in it's bed.

"If you let the damn thing sleep there much longer, it'll never want to sleep in it's bed again." He complained, shaking his head. "And I spent way too much to let that shit happen."

Star giggled at the face he was making at the kitten, and he looked back at her in surprise, before half heartedly scowling.

"This stays between us, got it Freckles?" He said gruffly, crossing his arms.

"Got it Bakudad."

The tip of his ears went pink and he promptly shoved her out of the room, following her out before closing the door behind them, and stalking off ahead towards the stairs. Star smiled to herself as she caught up, thankful she had Katsuki Bakugo and Lord Explosion in the room next door.
