He aggressively pointed at her. Someone had a tendency to project his issues, yikes. If she had a different quirk, she'd be offended.
Moving his finger out of her face, she saw the movies again, tangled in her mind. Too drunk to grasp the implications behind this unusual style of reading, she could see the same main character in all of the moving pictures. He has a kitten? Aww, the collar says 'Lord Explosion', that's so… weirdly adorable. What a secret softie! His anger spiked over his worry about the kitten, reminding her to release his finger.
"You didn't seem to think that when you were yelling about wanting to be class rep." Star pointed out as she smirked up at him. He gaped at her for a second, and she took the opportunity to pull out her phone. He had brought up a solid point. Not only did she not really want her quirk to be revealed (especially to this guy) but if her alcohol stash was found, she wouldn't be chosen as class rep! Plus, she really wanted to see his kitten. Katsuki caught up quickly with his long strides as she walked up the stairs.
She just had to stall long enough to get them to skip her room. If she could get Katsuki to let her see the kitten at the same time, it would solve both of their problems. Plus, she'd get to hold a kitten! Forming a plan in her head, Star waited until she heard the mind she was most familiar with on the same floor. It had been an hour or so since her last shot, she realized as she felt his confusion from next to her without touching him.
"They skipped our rooms since we weren't there." Star broke the silence, clearing up the confusion. Pulling out her phone to show him the text, she suddenly really hoped he didn't check it, not remembering what she had clicked. "They're almost done with everyones rooms though, so they'll probably be coming back."
"So what?" Katsuki deadpanned, not understanding what she was getting at.
"So I'll make you deal, Kacchan." She grinned, more sure of how to say his nickname than his real name. PLus, she needed him flustered if she wanted to see the kitten. "I'll let you off the hook and tell everyone you went to bed if you show me the kitten!"
His anger and disbelief turned to slight panic as they heard footsteps around the corner. Perfect! Mashirao, and probably the rest of the class, were right on time. The flustered expression on his face was kind of endearing for such a powerful guy. "I don't know who told you that, I don't have a cat-"
"Yes you do, though Lord Explosion is a poor choice of a nameeEEE-" She was cut off as he pulled her into his room before anyone could hear her, slamming the door shut behind them. Ha! Too easy. That probably meant she should drink more soon, but it was late anyway, so she couldn't.
The kitten seemed to have the same idea as her, because it bounded into her lap without hesitation. What a brave little thing! A genuine smile broke across her face as she pet it. It was like being home. The comfort from the kittens warmth soaked into her, and she smiled up at Katsuki instinctively, wanting to share her happiness with someone.
His eyes had softened from his earlier panic, and he was staring at her, hand still on his door. He blinked a few times, before he moved his gaze to Lord Explosion. The kitten purred against her hand, but she couldn't look away from how Katsuki's gaze had become even softer.
She didn't miss the silly jealousy though as he stormed over.
"Alright, that's it!" Katsuki growled, gripping under her arm and hoisting her up to her feet. The alcohol and lack of water made her head hurt, and the sudden movement didn't help either. Blinking as the world spun, she found the desk getting closer and closer to her face-
Large warm hands quickly grabbed her waist right before she hit the furniture, demonstrating his inhuman reflexes. The desk shrank in size as she was pulled away from it and into his broad chest. Blinking, she found herself an inch away from his rough features. His eyes were even more intense close up, and his face radiated heat. Or maybe that was her face? She could feel so many emotions flying through him that she almost wasn't sure what her own emotions were. His lips moved into a smirk and she felt his overwhelming satisfaction and his pounding heart. Or was that her heart? She was so mixed up, her tipsy mind racing. His eyes moved from her cheeks to her lips, and she saw the image flash through his mind, and her eyes widened. But he froze, nose wrinkling as he leaned away.
"Are you fucking drunk?!" He exclaimed, agast. She blinked a few times, trying to regain her senses. As her heart beat rapidly against her chest, she could finally identify her own emotions, and realized with a start that she had been equally entranced in the man. Maybe being here wouldn't be so bad after all.
"No," She grinned, turning to open the door. "I'm Olivia."
