2- Kayle

The sense of discomfort was soon forced out of his head as Henry saw the river flowing beneath the bridge. "So beautiful."

"It looks so pretty out here." Charles commented as he looked around.

"Well I sure hope it does, you've been a city boy all your life so it should be a nice change of view." Henry told Charles.

"Hey i've been out of the city. Just never to such a pretty place." Charles commented as he was still looking at the view in front. Henry just smiled at his words.

"Wait I forgot to ask, I know you were sleeping but why were you actually there, you know by the tree." Charles chimed in as they drove off the bridge.

" I haven't told you but my family came from that area, so I was there visiting some relatives, and it was boring just sitting around listening to old people talk, so I went to explore and found that it was a quiet place so I slept there." Henry explained

"Hehe, sounds like you, I should've known you just wanted to find a place to sleep. Anyway you said you have relatives here? How come you never told me?" Charles glanced at Henry before focusing on the road again.

"Well, it was my granduncle that was living there and I was there for his birthday at the time but I didn't know him well or anything, so I didn't really care, plus it's been about 15 years, but after he died I never really had a reason to come back here, also the fact that this place gives me weird vibes, I decided to stay away if I could." Henry told Charles as he was going for his phone in his pocket. "The left turn is coming up so watch for it."

Charles took the left turn and drove as he was told. Eventually he saw a big clearing meant for cars. "Henry, It looks like we're here. I think I see Kayle's car over there." Henry looked over and it was just like Charles said, Kayle's car was there in the clearing with about ten other cars. "Just park next to her then. I'll call her and tell her that we're here."

Charles parked his car next to Kayle's car and both the men got out of the car.

Henry called Kayle once again. "Hey, where are you? Charles and I parked next to your car."

"I'm already in the village, i'm by where your granduncle used to live, I'll wait here for both of you."

Just like that Kayle hung up on Henry.

"So where is she?" Charles asked. Henry sighed, " she's by my granduncles house. I'll lead the way there so just follow me."

Henry started walking and Charles followed behind.

"So Henry, does this village like ice or something?"

"You could tell?" Henry was surprised.

"I'm not an idiot, anyone could tell, the Ice decoration on the railing was the number one factor, and then when we first got here I notice a lot of cold related signs." Charles told Henry.

"I forget that you're not just an idiot sometimes. But yeah, the founder of the village was in love with a woman whose favorite things were snow related. So he made things out like that, and it's persisted til now, even the village name "Nifhel Village" is supposed to be a tribute to her home." Henry said as if he knew everything to know about the village.

"Sounds pretty cool. The snow is cool too. Although I prefer summer better." Charles delighted in the things Henry told him.

"We're almost there. Should be just around the corner." Henry pointed to a turn and informed Charles.

A voice could be heard coming from that way. "Hey pretty lady, I've never seen you around here, are you a visitor? How about I "show" you around. heheh"

Both Henry and Charles saw this and crept to the building just before the turn. They saw a couple guys surronding a woman. Henry accidentally made eye contact with the woman.

"Oh no I'm being harrassed by some gangsters, please won't someone save me?" Pleaded the woman aloud. Charles was laughing at her, while Henry only smiled and watched as he knew a show was going to happen.

"Lady, I think you have the wrong idea, we ain't gangsters, we are gentlemen offering help to you." Smirked one of the thugs. "Yeah, Yeah, we ain't gangstas, we only want to help, heheh." Another thug spoke up.

Kayle ignored them as she looked and saw both Charles and Henry doing nothing to help her, and even saw Charles laughing at her. This made Kayle quiver in anger.

"Hey boss I think she's scared, why don't you "help" her out there." the other thug spoke. "You're right, I will go help her." The boss of the thugs then tried to put his arm around Kayle, but just then. Kayle grabs his arm, and twists it. "AHHHH" the thug cried out.

"Kayle was mad for sure" That's what henry thought. While Charles was certainly enjoying this show.

"Bossss." One of the thugs ran to their boss. The other thug ran to Kayle. "You'll pay for what you did to the boss." and pulled out a knife and slashed at kayle. Kayle dodged easily and she kicked the hand of the thug causing him to drop the knife, and scream in pain. Kayle collected the knife and pointed it towards the thug.

"Come if you dare."

A single sentence was enough to cause the smaller thug to stop and submit. "Spare me mistress, I didn't mean to." Immediately the other small thug said the same thing.

Kayle pointed the knife towards the main thug as if wanted him to submit too.

Not wanting to submit the boss thug got up and was ready to fight, when he heard a noise.

*WOOSH*

The thug felt something wet on his face and touched it. Seeing his own blood finally made him submit, even moreso than his other thug friends did. "Mistress, I apologize and will do anything to repent, just don't kill me." The thug boss went so far as to knell and beg.

"That's better, I'll call you guys thugs 1,2, and 3. Now scram." Kayle told the thugs off.

Being set free the thugs did not delay and immediately ran away.

Seeing the thugs run Kayle didn't feel happy. She looked towards a certain direction and said, "come over here if you don't want me to hit you."

Henry thought to himself, "Oh boy we better go then."
