~This is a story I wrote 5 years ago when I was 11 lol. I am 16 now and I have come a long way. I had to edit it but I didn't too much cause I didn't want to change this memory. I was very passionate about this so I hope you guys enjoy!~

 This story is told from the eyes of a young reporter in the making. She tells the story of a young boy named Jack. Who gets a phone for his birthday. Jack was bullied in school for being the only kid who did not possess a phone, or any "cool" clothes. So he decides to change his whole personality after he receives a phone for his birthday. Readers will join young reporter, Cassandra Blacksmith, as we watch Jack go down a road of, peer pressure, bad decisions, and a tragedy that sends a lesson to all around them.

The killer phone

Even though Jack was turning into a rebel teen, and a phone addicted freak, he was still popular! I mean everyone around him encouraged the new him. Even his parents were running out of options to deal with him. Sutton his friend was the worst he encouraged Jack to sneak out to 21 and over parties… and he did. Jack only got worse and worse and it was all because of his phone.


   Just when you thought things couldn't get any worse it did. Sutton, Jack, and some other kids from school were chillin' out in front of an abandoned building drinking soda pop. Apparently, they were on private property and were caught trespassing by the county police. When asked to leave they laughed and threw rocks at the officers. Just then two more cop cars pulled up and started towards the boys.


    Jack pulled out his phone and began filming the scene laughing and screaming "we won't leave!" "This is our turf! So get lost!" This cant get any worse right? Well just as the kids were on the road to going to jail Jack picked up a rock and threw it at one of the officers. It hit him right in the eye, hard enough to cause him to fall unconscious. With that, the group took off running with a trail of officers behind them. Still filming Jack turned and threw more rocks at the pursuing officer's. A few rocks hit their targets, and the others sailed past their heads.


   Jack and the group barely got away but were caught a few days later when Jack posted the video online and faced many charges. But that only made him more popular and cocky. Jack continued to get worse until a few weeks ago when he learned the biggest lesson of all.
